Boromir request 1
This is for MayonnaisePlayer :) P.S- Sorry for the wait!
You and Tinu galloped away, as far away as you could from Mimas Tirith. You hated to admit it, but you where frightened. You never wanted to go back there. You rode for days on end, and you knew where you were going. You were going to find your Elf friends in Mirkwood, and your good friend Legolas. He would know how to help, hopefully.
After days of riding, only stopping once to rest and eat, you approached a big gate. There, you hopped off of Tinu and you said a password in Elvish which you had been taught and the gates opened for you. You picked up your bags off of Tinu and let her wonder around, since you know it was safe to.
After you parted with Tinu, you walked through Mirkwood, and many Elves waved at you and you saw that a few Elf ladies took the job of washing and looking after Tinu. She seemed quite happy with all the pamper she was getting.
You soon approached a tall, spiralled staircase. You walked up, and every step you took your stomach felt more sick with nerve. Then you thought about what had happened. Where you ever going to see Boromir again? Technically, you were still engaged. Engaged to a man who you ran away from, who you probably wouldn't see again. That's what you thought.
"Y/N!" Legolas saw you as you walked down a corridor.
"Legolas!" You ran up to him and he gave you a tight hug.
"Oh, what brings you here? I haven't been told that you-"
"It's a long story. And I need your help." You said.
Legolas showed you to a room you could stay in and he sat down with you.
"So, I was at Mimas Tirith, seeing my friend Faramir, and you see, I stayed there for a while, and then I met his older brother, Boromir. And, we'll, we kind of fell in love. After months of courting each other, he asked me to marry him. I said yes, but his father didn't approve. He shouted so loud and he sent me away. I didn't know what else to do and I was frightened so I-" You started to choke up."I-I ran away with my horse in the night and c-came here..." You said, holding back tears.
"Oh, so that's your horse that's getting all the pamper down there?"
"Y-yeah." You chuckled.
"I'm so sorry, just know that I'm always here for you, and I'm sure Boromir still loves you, you still love him right?"
"Y-yes I guess I do..."
Legolas gave you a hug. You cried into his shoulder. After that, you cleaned yourself up and got changed and Legolas went to let his father know about your arrival.
You laid your daggers out on a table in front of you. Then, your sword. Then you thought.
"I've always wanted to learn archery..."
So later that day you found Legolas.
"Hey Legolas, I er... can I ask you a favour?"
"Sure thing!"
"I er- I want to learn archery. Can you teach me?"
"Archery!?"
"Y-yeah, if you don't want to that's okay..."
"No no no I would love to!" He exclaimed. "I just, haven't done archery in a while myself..."
Legolas had a bow made specially for you, and your own special arrows. You went to the forest with him and there you both practices shooting trees and aiming. You got the hang of it quite quickly.
After a day with Legolas and doing archery, you soon forgot about what had happened and why you were here. You were happy in Mirkwood.
You said goodnight to Legolas after checking on Tinu, and you headed to your room. You put your bow and arrows on the table with the rest of your weapons and sighed.
"I wonder if I'll ever actually need to use these..." You wondered.
Suddenly, there was a loud thump. You turned around, pointing your bow at the balcony through the window. Then you heard a groan. You slowly walked toward the window, your bow pointing in front of you.
"Who's there!? Is that you Legolas?" You whisper shouted.
"Legolas!?" Came the voice.
Then the person jumped through the window.
"It's me."
"B-B-Boromir...?" You stuttered. "Boromir! What are you doing here!?"
"I came after you. You think I would let you just leave me like that!?"
"I'm sorry, but I clearly wasn't welcome there anymore!" You argued.
"You could have told me you were running away. I would have gone with you. But now, I've had to follow you myself. And I'm not leaving you-"
"Y/N! Are you alright in there!?" Came Legolas's voice from outside the door.
"Who's that!?" Boromir exclaimed.
"N-no one!" You whispered.
"Yes Legolas! I'm alright, I was just talking to myself!"
Seconds later Legolas burst through the door. You turned back and saw that Boromir was gone.
"Are you sure your alright? You seem stressed."
"Yes Legolas, don't worry about me."
"Alright. Goodnight, m'lady!" Legolas left the room and shut the door quietly behind him.
You ran to the balcony and saw Boromir, sat in the roof!?
"How on earth did you get there, your not an Elf are you!?"
"No, why don't you come up here?"
"I can't."
"Of course you can!" Unexpectedly, Boromir reached down and pulled you up.
You two sat together on the roof, you were still a bit mad at Boromir. But you couldn't stay made for long.
"Your not going to leave me again, are you?"
Boromir asked after a minutes silence.
"No. Are you?"
"No."
"Well I can't go back to Mimas Tirith. That's for sure."
"I know. But you can."
"Huh?"
"I had a word with my father and he is sorry for how harsh he was on you. Faramir is worried sick about you." He said.
"Oh... but what about, you know, marriage..."
"Oh, that's all being sorted out. Don't you worry about a thing."
"Alright. I won't."
You were both silent for another minute.
"What have you done whilst you've been here then?" Boromir asked.
"Well, I did learn archery from my Elf friend Legolas!" You jumped down and found your bow that was on the bed.
"Archery!? Wow." Boromir went inside with you.
You loaded an arrow into your bow and aimed it around the room.
"Careful!"
"I know what I'm doing." You aimed it at a post on the bed frame.
You shot it. And it left a little mark on the wooden post.
You pulled the arrow out and put the bow and arrows back on the table where all your other weapons were laid out.
"You fight a lot, do you?" Boromir asked and examined your collection of weapons.
"Sometimes." You said and laid back on the bed.
Boromir sat on the end of the bed.
"When are we going to go back to Mimas Tritih?" Boromir asked.
"Whenever were ready I suppose."
That night both of you fell asleep on the bed.
The next morning you woke up, and you quickly used the bathroom and did your hair and then you had a wash. You changed your clothes and came back into the bedroom to see Boromir stretched out on the bed.
"Boromir." You said, chuckling.
"Whaaaaat?"
"You need to get up if we want to get breakfast in time."
"Aaaaalriiiiighttttt."
After Boromir finally got ready, you both had breakfast and found your horses together. Tinu and Boromir's horse. You saddled them up and said farewell to Legolas, and thanked him for teaching you some archery skills. Then, you and Boromir rode back to Mimas Tirith. When you got back there after the long ride, Faramir gave you the biggest hug ever. Denethor apologised for what he did and he wanted his son to be happy. So that was he let happen.
A month later
"Oh Julie, are you sure I look alright?" You asked your maid Julie who was dressing you.
"Yes, you look stunning dear." She said as she put the ribbons and flowers in your hair.
You tightened your white dress up and with Julie reassuring you many times, you headed out where there was a carriage waiting for you. You got in, and with Faramir next to you since he would walk you down the aisle. You arrived, and you stepped out, linking arms with Faramir. Then you looked around at the many people, and at the front was Denethor and you even saw Legolas on the front row, smiling at you.
You walked up the aisle and saw Boromir, wearing a very fancy suit.
So you walked up the aisle and everything, you said your words and Boromir said his, you did the rings, and then you two both shared a very passionate kiss at the end. The crowd cheered, and the rest of the night you spent celebrating in the great hall, singing and dancing more than you ever had.
But, years later, Boromir want off to Rivendell to join the fellowship. You, didn't go with him, but you fought in other battles along with Faramir. When you heard of Boromir's tragic death, you didn't know what to do with yourself.
You were right t the front row at his funeral, and you knew that he would forever be in your hear, in your soul, and soon, you would be with him.
