There was a certain elf that always caught your eye and finally one day, you were bold enough to confess your feelings to him. Luckily he felt the same way and you both had decided to keep it a secret from the Mirkwood King in fear that he would separate you too.
The day cane though when the king found you snuggling under a willow tree giggling while reading.

"Legolas? What are you doing?" Thranduil asked sharply.

"Father I was just-"

"You need not pledge yourself to a lowly silvan elf. She may have been fun, but you need to chose a real princess."

Tears pricked your eyes as you ran towards the woods. Legolas glared at his Father.

"I love her Ada, you cannot command me other wise."

Thranduil was about to protest but Legolas took off tuning for you.

"Y/N? He asked softly.

"Go away." You sniffed "your father is right."

Legolas:

You soon began to dance within the trees together in sync when you finally decided to sing.

You:

As you sang, you earned more confidence that it was possible to be with the Mirkwood prince, the two of you met in the middle and joined hands while singing together in harmony.

Legolas pulled you in a dip and finally kissed you gently in the end. Your cheeks are were flushed with happiness as Legolas smiled.

"The king may be my father but he doesn't command my heart. "

Suddenly you heard a sniffling as you gave a questioning look. Both of you go towards the bush to find Thranduil, Feren, and Tauriel sniffing.

"Really?" Legolas asked in a monotone voice.

"OHH YOU TWO WERE SO BEAUTIFUL NO WONDER LEGOLAS IS IN LOVE WITH YOU! YOU TWO WILL MAKE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL COULLE!" Thranduil wailed delicately.

"I don't think that's why he's in love-" Tauriel began as Thranduil shushed her.

"I give you my permission to court her..... WELCOME TO THE FAMILY Y/N."

You laughed as you embraced Thranduil and Legolas rolled his eyes.

It was quite the interesting family you just got yourself in.
