You woke up to a banging on the door. There stood Elrond looking very worried, but relaxed when you opened the door.

"Hello to you too." You remarked as Elrond took you to the bathroom.

"Get bathed and dressed. You have to leave in a few hours."

"But-" you protested as a few maids swarmed in

Elrond left the chambers leaving you by yourself. Finally you were prepped and ready as you were sitting at your vanity.

"Lady Y/N." Lindir knocked as you had a wide smile on your face.

"LINDIR!!" You screeched as you bear  hugged him. "Did you bring chocolate??"

He laughed as he replied "no but I have something better."

He gracefully led you to the doors where the guards opened to reveal two white steeds.

"Shall we?" He asked with a grin.

Instead of responding, you hop on with ease with Lindir following suit.

"Race you!" He yelled as he took off.

"Hey!" You kicked your stirrups following suit. Soon, the two of you were neck and neck until you gave one last kick as you sped ahead.

"Victory!" You shouted gleefully as Lindir laughed while he dismounted.

"You did well Y/N." He admitted as he helped you down. "Shall we?"

You linked arms with Lindir as he led you to a small clearing where a picnic was laid out and small candles for a path.

"Shall we?" He grinned as you covered your mouth in shock

"Lindir.... it's beautiful!" You whispered.

For most of the early evening. You spent the time laughing, talking and everything in between. It came close to sunset when Lindir suddenly got nervous.

"What's wrong?" You asked.

"I have something to ask, but I fear for the answer." He confessed

"Well you won't know the answer til you ask." You smiled gently.

Lindir nodded in agreement as he held up a hand signaling you were walking. Gently. You took his arm and followed him to a stream.

"I think I'm ready to ask you." He spoke quietly as you sighed in relief.

"Thank goodness I was afraid I was gonna have to break the silence." You teased.

"Y/N we have been together for quite some time, and I can't help but wonder what would it be like to spend forever together. I realized that I could make my Dream a reality if you just answer one question...will you marry me?"

You couldn't help it, you squealed, and jumped and shook with excitement. "YES! Of course I will!"

Lindir laughed happily as he picked you up while spinning you around.. "I'm so glad you said yes."

And you could indeed expect to spend eternity together.
