That day in Middle Earth, you and your cousin Haldir were preparing to go to Helms Deep to aid Rohan in battle. A servant blew the horn, and many soldiers began to head for the horses.

"Y/N." Galadriel called softly within your mind. "Be on your guard, and be open to the possibilities on the road ahead."

Your brows furrowed. What does she mean? Throughout the entire journey, you pondered on what she meant until you felt a hand on your shoulder.

"What is it? Are you scared for your first battle?" Haldir asked worriedly. "There's nothing to fear, you've trained exceptionally well-"

"No dear cousin, I'm just in thought that's all." You said to Haldir. He gestured for you to speak, and you were glad to do so since you needed council.

"Hmnnn... our lady has always been "cryptic. But I'm sure you will find out sooner or later."

The elves rang the horn, and the army marched in with you and Haldir.

"Haldir!" Aragorn cried. "You are most welcome."

You faintly heard your conversation, but your attention was on the blonde elf. He was talking to a dwarf, and you blushed heavily when his eyes were transfixed on you.

"My lady, what is your name?" He asked softly.

"Y/N of Lorien."  You smiled. "It's nice to meet you...."

"Legolas of the Mirkwood Realm." He said with a smile.

"Look I know you two are ready to get married and all but we have a war going on!" Gimli exclaimed. This caused Aragorn and Haldir to laugh.

The battle finally begun, and it took no time to see that you and Legolas were a team. Wherever you went, Legolas would follow, and vice versa.

"15, 16, 16" you called out, enjoying the competition.

"17! 18! 19!" Gimli yelled as loud as he could.

You were so immersed in the competition that you and Legolas had drifted apart. Your heart stopped when you saw a orc aiming straight at Legolas's heart with a morgul arrow. There was no time to warn him, so you took matters into your own hands. Quickly, you jumped on the orc just in the nick of time to distract them, and send the arrow past Legolas's ears.

His heart stopped as he saw the orc throw you on the ground, mere seconds from dying. To repay his debt, he quickly shot the orc between the eyes, and the two of you sighed with relief.

Legolas helped you on your feet, and ran to save Haldir with your hand in his.

"Thank you my friends." Haldir rasped gratefully. It was soon after that statement that the war would end, and their would be a celebration of life.

The day after the celebration, Legolas, Aragorn, and Gimli were saddling up to leave when you caught them.

"Why are you leaving?" You asked.

"We are trying to help our friends destroy the one ring from Sauron." Aragorn explained simply.

"Come with us?" Legolas asked hopefully. "We could use you."

Galadriels statement made sense, and you immediately agreed.

"Just because you are coming, does not mean that you and pointy elf boy can stare at each other all day." Gimli stated. "Honestly Legolas, you might as well propose to the girl already."

Despite Gimli's comment, the remaining fellowship grew ever closer from that day.  You discovered so many things about yourself, and how deep your feelings ran for Legolas.

It was the final battle, and you prayed constantly that Frodo was alive. Without realizing it, you were cornered by two Wargs. You quickly killed one, but the other dragged you towards the cliff, causing the two of you to topple off with a dead Warg.

"NO!" Legolas screamed. He ran towards the cliff, and to your amazement, you were hanging on a branch, but worry was in his eyes as he noticed you were barely conscious and heavily bleeding from your rib cage.

The next few moments were a blur as you saw many elves helping you before you before you lost consciousness.

It was now the day of the coronation, and you still hadn't woken up.

"Legolas, come you can come back after the coronation." Gimli said while guiding his friend.

"I never told her I loved her." Legolas spoke hoarsely.

When they left, your eyes fluttered open. You could have sworn you heard  Legolas's voice.  You quickly got dressed and headed for the main hall where noise could be heard.

The crowd gasped as they saw you, thinking you were a ghost. Legolas ran to you, and held you so tightly, you thought you might collapse. It was the closest you had been to Legolas, and the most honest he had ever been about his feelings towards you. When the two of you parted, you saw the fellowship, and the elves standing before you. Your eyes widened as you saw a smirking Galadriel.

"You knew???"

"Of course I did dear. Ive always known." She smiled.

"I've always known that I've loved you." Legolas said while brushing the hair from your eyes.

From that day on, the two of you lived happily ever after.
