It was just a normal day with you and your parents strolling through town, it was your eleventh birthday and you couldn't have been happier....until it was close to sunset when everyone gathered around you at the restaurant.

"Make a wish!" Your mother spoke as she grinned happily with your father by her side.

"I wish.... that we could be together forever." You spoke with a grin.

Everyone began to chant "blow! Blow! Blow!" And as soon as you were about to, the door busted open and several orcs cane in. The roof fell through and more fell causing your parents to shriek and grab you with fear. Everyone was making a mad getaway for the exit and you were almost there until your mother got stabbed to the heart.

"Mommy!" You yelled as your father continued to move quickly with you over his shoulder. You were his most prized jewel and he was determined that you made it out alive.

An arrow whizzed in the air and sunk into your father's neck causing you to crumple to the ground with your father unmoving.

"Daddy!" You cries in fear as the orc cane closer.

"Daddy isn't home right now," theorc grinned as he slashed at your shoulder causing you to pass out.

When you woke up, your shoulder wound was healed and your dearest friend (and crush) Legolas was sitting beside you.

"Legolas!" You breathed "how long have I been asleep?"

"10 days." He spoke "we were all getting worried. "

Realization dawned on you that your parents died and you began to wail. It felt like hours until you were done, and Legolas didn't leave your side.

"It's my fault!" You sobbed "it's all my fault."

"It's not, it was the orcs fault, you can't blame yourself."

"But-"

"Rest my friend. All will be well when you wake up." He spoke softly as you fell asleep.

When you woke up, Legolas was stroking your hair and holding your hand, refusing to leave you.

"Thank You Legolas."

"You will always have me Y/N."
