Things were in utter chaos, the whole fellowship had separated, Frodo and Sam were going their own paths, while the other halflings were trying not to get captured. Suddenly, your elf ears heard the Gondorian horn and your heart dropped.

"Boromir must be in trouble!"Legolas yelled as you both ran to the scene.

"Boromir! Look out!" You yelled as you saw an arrow pierce his body. Hurriedly, you fought harder against the two orcs so that you could help your dear.... friend shall we say?  (Another story for another time I suppose.)

But it was too late, three arrows pierced his body and Aragorn chopped the head of the orc.

"Boromir!" Your voice rising higher as you rushed over to him.

".....I don't know if he will make it." Aragorn spoke

"No!" You spoke fighting off tears as you began to heal him with herbs and enchantments. (You are an elf after all.)  There was a bit of a struggle, but after a little while, the worst of it was treated.

"He will live." You spoke hopefully. "With the remedy that I have given him he shall make it through the morning."

Legolas, Aragorn, And Gimli all smiled with joy as they decided to let Boromir rest.

"What about the halflings? We can't let them go!" Gimli spoke.

"Someone has to stay with Boromir." Aragorn smirked as he looked at you. "We will simply have to continue on and meet you."

"How would I even find you?" You spoke. "I'm not a good of a tracker as you think I am."

"Nonsense, you'll be fine. We will leave clues along the way. Once we get the Hobbits, we plan to go to Rohan." Aragorn instructed.

And so you were, camping in the woods while Boromir slept until he stirred.

"What happened to me?" He asked groggily.

"You were shot three times by an orc, honestly if I wasn't in the fellowship you surely would have died. " you gave a knowing smile.

"You saved me?" He asked in shock.

You scoffed playfully "Don't look so surprised. I am an elf. We have many healing secrets."

"Thank you Y/N.. in fact there has been something I've wanted to tell you...." he began

"What is it?" You spoke softly.

"I'm.......kind of....99% sure I'm in love with you. " he admitted sheepishly as a grin spread on your face.

"Really??"

"Really really." Boromir spoke and pecked you on the cheek. "I couldn't have been happier."

"Me too." You sighed as you entwined hands.

A moment of silence has passed as Boromirs eyes widened.

"Your brother Legolas is going to kill me."

"Nah. You'll be fine. "

TRAVELING WITH ARAGORN GIMLI AND LEGOLAS

"Ten coins to say that Y/N gets together with Boromir." Gimli spoke as Aragorn laughed agreeing to the game.

"Y/N wouldn't dare! Not without my consent." Legolas spoke his eyebrows furrowing.

"Laddie, how much do your elf eyes see? Haven't ya seen the way he looks at her?" Gimli spoke.

"Or the way that she looks at him?" Aragorn interjected

"Or the way that he takes care of her by giving his cloak?"

"Or by sharing his food?"

"Or-"

"Alright I get it!" Legolas spoke as the two others snickered.

Soon, everyone was reunited and Gimli gave a whoop when he saw the two of your hands entwined.

"YOU OWE ME TEN ARAGORN!"

Legolas glared at Boromir as you stepped in front.

"No Legolas! You will not take away Boromir-"

"I promise to guard and love her with my life." Boromir Added "I really do love her."

"AWEEEEE!" Aragorn and Gimli chorused as Legolas finally broke out into a smile.

"Welcome to the family Boromir!"
