A girl from another realm 7

You fell unconscious due to the exhaustion and the slight loss of blood. During the battle, an orc had cut you on the thigh. It wasn't too deep, so you continued to fight the enemy. At the end of the battle,  you completely forgotten about it until the eagles lifted you into the air. Only then, did you see the dark red patch on your pants.

You heard someone calling for you, but it was too hard to open your eyes. The eagle that carried you gently placed you on the rock, and you soon felt a wrinkly hand on your forehead.

"Open your eyes!" Kili cried out.

The dwarves hovered over you as you inhaled a deep breath before fluttering your eyes open. Sighs of relief went around, and you noticed your wound was healed.

"I believe thanks is in order." Gandalf said with a smile. "You did indeed lose a lot of blood."

"Well thank goodness your alright." Thorin remarked. "We can't lose you now."

You grinned with joy to see that Thorin was indeed alive. "Same with you. We can't lose our King under the mountain."

The dwarves slowly helped you to your feet, and the company stared at the mountain with awe.

"Our home." Thorin beamed. "Come on, let's get moving while there is still daylight."

The company left in high spirits, and began to head towards the mountain. You walked beside Bilbo, Thorin, and Ori and the conversation was filled with laughter.

Kili and Fili trailed behind the group, and Fili noticed that Kili was in a silent mood.

"What's wrong brother? Are you not happy we just survived?"

"Of course I am." Kili spoke. "I'm just thinking."

Fili furrowed his eyebrows at his brother. They never kept secrets from one another.

"Is it Y/N?" Fili whispered, knowing you were up ahead. Elves did have better hearing after all.

Kili gave a sigh. "Yes and no. I care for her deeply. She is one of my best friends.... except from you of course." He added with a small smile. "I just don't think that it's going to be anything more than that. I haven't gotten the full sign that she's my One."

Fili nodded slowly. He looked up at you to make sure you hadn't heard. Luckily, you were still engaged in conversation with the dwarves up ahead.

"Sometimes Kili, our creator likes to reveal who are One is at the most unexpected moment. Just.... keep that in mind will you? The dwarves can clearly see that there is something going on between you two. "

"There is nothing going on between us!" Kili hissed loudly. "We are just friends."

Fili rolled his eyes. He had tried really hard to make him see that he was obviously in love with her. But, his brother would not see reason. There was nothing he could do but be there for the both of you, until something happened.

At this point, it was dark, and the company were under many trees. A howl could be heard in the distance, and the dwarves cursed in their language.

"We can't even see where they are! We're surrounded by trees!" Nori exclaimed.

"Bilbo and I can go look if you would like." You volunteered. The dwarves nodded in agreement and the two of you scaled the trees. When you saw the lovely colored leaves and the fading sunset, you both smiled at one another. Your attention was faced to the bear that ran over the warg. The two of you ducked when you saw the bear looking your way, and you signaled to Bilbo that it was time to return to the dwarves.

"What did you see?" Bombur asked.

"The largest bear I've ever seen." Bilbo  explained. "It was even bigger than the wargs."

Gandalf looked at you, and the two of you knew who it was. He then proceeded to tell of a location in which they could hide.

"Are they friend or foe?" Thorin asked.

"They are neither. They will either kill us, or they will help us, but we have no choice but to go."

Your legs had gotten stronger since the last orc chase, but they still burned as you ran through the forest at a high speed. Gandalf led the dwarves, and you were the caboose to make sure no one was left behind.  You were getting close to the house, and the bear ran through the bush, and almost on your tail.

"OPEN THE DOOR!" You screamed, you were about to be trampled by a bear, and the dwarves were struggling to get the door opened.

Relief filled your heart as the door finally closed. The dwarves stood for a moment trying to catch their breath.

"Too close." You mumbled "way to close."

"What do we do?" Dori asked frantically.

"He should shift soon, so everybody should get some rest." Gandalf said. You quickly made a bedroll bear the Durin twins, and fell fast asleep. When you woke up you smelled eggs, sausage, and biscuits.

A smile formed on your face as you saw the dwarves eating happily.

"Ah! Glad your awake!" Bofur exclaimed with a smile. "We worried that you would sleep all day."

"Well when I smelled the delicious food I couldn't resist." You said jokingly.

You are your food while listening to Beorn's story. You felt bad for the man, for he was the only one of his kind left. After breakfast was done, the company gathered their things and made their way to the forest.

"I must leave you now. But I will find you when I can. After all we only have five days left until we reach the mountain." Gandalf said before taking off.

The company entered with weary hearts, for they were cautious about what lies ahead
