You sat in erebor looking out into the gardens when you heard footsteps.

"Hello y/n. Would you please come with me?" Thorin spoke as he smiled tentatively. You nodded if you had done something wrong. You finally made it to a private room as a moment of silence passed over.

"Did I do something?" You blurted

Thorin chuckled "no my dear... It's quite a delicate matter...." I motioned for him to continue. "Well my nephews are coming to an age where they will take over erebor and will soon rule. And to do that they need to take in a wife."

"So..." You swallowed nervously "what does this have to do with me?"

"You have my nephews wrapped around your finger. They're completely smitten with you.. And they would hope that you would pick one of them to be your husband..."

"Oh." You swallowed again "and wow..."

"I know this is a lot to take in but I think you would make an excellent choice, and it's almost time for you to get married as well..... Do you have any feelings for any of them?"

Your face turned bright red as you looked down at the floor in embarrassment. In fact you had feelings for both of them. You were unable to chose.

"Oh. I see then." Thorin grinned "you have some deciding to do-"

"How long then?"

"A month."

A month???? That's not enough time! You thought as you thought frantically.

"I suggest you chose soon then." Thorin nodded and left the room.

The next day you and the nephews were out in the archery arena as you were firing arrows. You snuck looks at Kili and he caught your eye and smiled as you looked down and sidled over to you.

"You look lovely as always." He gave a cheeky grin as you giggled. Meanwhile Fili was staring with eyes full of jealousy. You separated a little as you continued to fire arrows.

After training you all began to walk back. Fili quickly sidled over to you and wrapped his arm around your waist. Kili let out a little growl and giving a she's-mine- look. Fili smirked with victory. Thorin approached you both with raised eyebrows.

"I trust you all had a good hour of training? And that it was eventful?"

"Yes." We all said in unison.

"Well if you would quickly bathe, dinner will be ready in an hour. " Thorin spoke as he turned on his heel and left.

"I can accompany you to your room if you wish." Fili piped up

"No I will."

"I am less stinky-"

"You both smell horrible. I will be just fine going by myself thanks." You smiled and turned away leaving the dwarves in shock, mouths hanging open.

You quickly bathed as you slipped on a sky blue dress. And brushing your hair through leaving it down in waves. Quickly walking down you headed towards the dining room. The boys mouths dropped as silverware clattered.

"Hi." You smiled softly as you sat next to Kili.he put on a proud smile and wrapping an arm around your waist. Once again Fili sent jealous looks.

"Well." Thorin cleared his throat. "I have some buisness to attend to. Enjoy your meal."

You gave a please-don't-leave-me-this-is awkward look.

He grinned patting all of our shoulders and left giving you a wink.

"So.... What do you guys wanna talk about?" I asked nervously.

"I think- "Kili began

"Oh please you only care about y/n! But your too selfish to realize that I'm in love with her too! "

"I'm right for her! "

"Are not!"

"Are too!"

"She's mine!" They both roared.

"STOP IT!" I yelled as I stood up furiously "Both of you!" They looked shocked that you would speak out for yourself but they obeyed.

"Do you think this easy for me having to chose between you? Well it's been harder than you think. But if this how you guys will act around me for the rest of the time and it destroys your bond- I'm not choosing any of you. "

And with that you stormed out of there. You had to get out of there. Anywhere. You truly liked them and possibly had feelings for one than the other. At the moment you felt was anger and sadness. You ran into a hard chest as you looked into a deep set of chocolate eyes.

"I'm sorry I'm sorry." Kili apologized over and over. "I'm sorry I fought with Fili I'm sorry I put you through that I love you Y/n you make my day when it's rainy, bring sunshine into my life like no one else does. Your smile just makes me want me to smile it's so infectious. ." He gushed and He gave you a bear hug as you embraced it gratefully.

"Can you ever forgive me?" He asked softly as you nodded. He stroked your cheek as he leaned and set off fireworks.

"Goodnight."

He left you standing there in shock as you touched your fingers to your mouth. You heard footsteps as you saw Fili, his golden hair setting off in the moonlight. You quickly removed your fingers as he approached you softly.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I had no right to claim you like that. You are no prize to be won over. You should be able to chose who you love. I hope you can forgive me."

"Of course." You nodded as he crushed his lips on yours deepening it setting off explosives.

"I'm in love with you, Y/N always have been always will. And I will accept whatever choice you make, whatever makes you happy."

He left with a smile on his face as you grinned like the Chesire cat. Your blood drained from your face when you realized

The deadline was tomorrow.
