"Hazel we tried everything, but nobody found anything." Lisa said while I was pacing in the room.

Everybody was here, wanting to know if my grandmother could get saved.

"There have to be! This land is made of magic! You can't tell me that there isn't a way to save her!" I yelled looking at her.

I didn't mean to yell at her, but everything was just off today. I hadn't had one goodnight sleep for the past couple of days. My grandmother is slowly dying and then what Connor told me yesterday night. I wish this was all just over.

"I'm sorry Hazel there isn't." Lisa said in a soft voice trying not to make me angry.

I let out a sigh knowing I shouldn't be angry at her for this. it's not her fault, it never was. After a year of peace for me this happen. I should have stayed in the real world.

This shouldn't had happen if just had stayed home in my room with the windows closed and the door locked.

"Maybe there is a way." We all turned our head to Lina.

She looked at Alaric and Logan before speaking up.

"There is this stone."

She started but soon got cut off by Alaric.

"Lina no." He said in a stern voice letting me know that he didn't want her to tell me.

"Alaric she needs to know." She turned her head back to me before continuing.

"There is this stone who can heal the most deadly diseases. Some people say it can bring someone back to live."

This is it!

If we find this stone we can save my grandmother.

"Great where can we find it?" I asked her with hope in my voice.

She let out a sigh shaking her head. She open her mouth to say something, but Logan was first.

"It's not that easy Hazel. That stone disappeared years ago and nobody had ever seen it since then."

Of course something like that would happen to me. Just when I thought that everything would get better they tell me this. But I'm' not giving up hope. Maybe we can still find that stone. It have to be somewhere.

"What if we just try to find it?  Where was it last seen?" I asked him.

Logan looked at Alaric like he was asking to tell me what he knew. I hear him letting out a sigh before  nodding to Logan to go on.

"It was last seen in Abscam."

I could hear Lisa gasp. What? What was so bad about Abscam? I know I never been to it and the only thing I know about it is that I'm more powerful there than any other land.

"No she can't go there! Nobody can go there!" Lisa quickly said raising her voice.

"What are you all hiding from me? I know Abscam is place where I'm stronger, but why is everybody keeping it a secret from me?!" I asked looking at all of them.

I was mad at them for not saying a thing. A hand touched my shoulder and I turn around.

"Hazel calm down. They probably have a good reason why they didn't tell you anything about it." Connor said trying to calm me down.

He could be right, but I was just sick of them keeping secrets from me.

"Hazel it's not that we don't want to tell you anything about it, it's because we don't know much about it." Lina said softly.

"Years ago the Otherlings decided to take down Abscam. The light and the darkness, they both lived there, it was both their homes." Alaric explained.

"Otherlings? Who are the Otherlings?" I asked being completely confused.

"They are powerful creatures who rule our world."

This is the first time I ever heard about them.

"But if they are so powerful why don't they just kill Abraham?"

Logan let out a sigh.

"It's not that easy. They watch over us yes, but we need to do all the work. We need to make sure that everything is alright, they are just there to watch us. If they sense that something really bad is going to happen then they come out and do whatever they do to keep everything in this world a secret from the real world."

I didn't like this on bit. Someone is out there who just can erase a person or even a who land from the world.

"But why did they take Abscam down, what happen?"

Something really bad much have happen when they decided to do that.

"Nobody knows. We think it's because of the people living there. People like you Hazel. Remember when I told you that you and your mom where the only ones in years that had that power?"

I nodded my head hopping he would go on.

"That's because they all disappeared. We don't know how your mom got born here with that power. Her parents didn't had that power and she was born in Aura."

They didn't know.

They didn't know that she wasn't born here and that she was found.  I shook my head.

"No that's not true." They all looked confuse at me.

"Last year when I was in the village Robing told me that his dad found my mother in the woods. She was just a baby when they found her." I said swallowing the lump in my throat away.

"Are you sure Hazel?" Lisa asked.

I looked at her nodding my head.

"This chang everything." Alaric said more to himself then to the rest of us.

"What are you thinking Alaric?" Lina asked standing up from her seat next to Libby on the couch.

"Maybe Abscam isn't gone like we all thought it was. Maybe they just hide it from all of us, so that it couldn't harm us."

This was giving me more hope again.

"If it's still out there than we have a change to save your grandmother Hazel." Alaric said looking at me.

I nodded hopping he was right. This is a new lead to a cure for her. Something was giving me hope again to save her.
