I was looking at the water in front of me. It was wildly trashing around while waves crash into each other.

I hear the crew yelling things at each other trying to load everything on the ship that we would need. A cold wind pas through me making shivers run up my spine. I pull my red jacket closer to my body trying to get more warmth.

I wanted to leave as soon as possible. The time my grandmother have left is getting smaller and smaller, if don't find that stone soon she's will die.

"We're here."

I turn around and saw Libby, Connor and to my surprise Leo.

"Leo what are you doing here?" I asked confuse.

"Well my mom and dad thought it would be a good idea to spend some time with you, since we are family and I think you can use as much help as possible to find this stone."

We do need as much help as we can get, but I don't want him to get hurt either. This is going to be dangerous and I don't want the next king to die.

"This is going to be dangerous and I don't want you to get hurt."

Leo shook his head.

"Hazel you can't keep me from doing this. I want to help, I want to be a part of this." I nodded my head understanding that he want to help as well.

This is about his grandmother too and I can't forget that. She may raise me, but she does care about as much as she cares about me.

"Did you see Lina or Logan?" I asked turning to Libby and Connor.

"I saw Lina and she had talked to Logan. She said that he wasn't coming, if Lucas is coming with us he isn't."

I let out a sigh running a hand through my hair. It's hard to admit, but we need Logan.

"Well I guess we better go now." I said turning away from them.

I really had hoped that Logan and Lina would have come, but I guess they won't. We boarded the ship and I could feel myself getting unease.

The water began to get wilder and the ship began to move more. The water stopped and everything was back to normal. There wasn't a wave or any movement in the water.

"Do you think it was her?" Libby asked standing next to me.

If the Mermaid queen want's to scare me she's not doing a good job. This is not gonna stop me from going on to the ocean.

"Probably." I answer truly.

Libby was still new to this thing. Even though she has been here for almost a whole year and got better in her fighting, she still feels like this is all new to her.

I put my hand on her shoulder looking her in the eyes.

"Don't worry Libby I will be fine and you too. The queen won't get you, not as long as I'm here."

She frowns her brows wrapping her arms around herself.

"But what if you're not there if I need you? What if I'm all alone?"

I open my mouth to say something when someone spoke up.

"You won't be alone." Connor came standing next to her giving her a comforting look.

"You say that now, but you never know." She answers silently.

You could hear the fear in her voice.

"Libby the past year you have been training so much. You're powerful and you know it." Connor said not taking his eyes of his little sister.

"That was just training. What if I just shut down in the middle of something dangerous?" She bites her lip trying not to cry.

I never seen Libby this scared. Normal she's strong and not easily scared, but now she the complete opposite of it.

"Libby trust me you're gonna be okay, I promise." Connor said softly.

Slowly she nodded her giving him a small smile.

"I think it's time to go." Leo said coming towards us with of course Lucas behind him.

I really can stand that guy. He always has that stupid smirk on his face that annoyed me so much. Somehow he reminds me of Ragnar. Don't asked me how it just does.

"I'll tell my men that we are ready to leave if you are sure that everyone is here."

Lucas knows that Logan isn't coming he just want me to say it out loud. I open my mouth to say something when I heard something from behind me.

"You got to be kidding me." I hear Lucas mutter on his breath when he looked behind him.

Quickly I turn around and a small smile came to my face.

Lina and Logan were running through the crowd with each a bag on their backs. They push pass people trying to get here faster. It really was a surprise to me that they were here. I thought Lina would have stayed here if Logan did, but I guess she changed his mind.

The men were about to take the plank away when Lina put her foot on it making the men drop it. She gave them a look and they backed off before running on it with Logan behind her. Both of them were out of breath when they reached us.

"We're here." Lina said putting her hands on her knees panting loudly.

"Thank god." Libby said hugging her.

"I thought we had to do this without you guys."

Both me and Connor gave her a look of disbelieve.

"Not that you guys aren't good enough, but they just have more experience with these kinds of things." She said laughing uncomfortable at the end.

"Right." Connor said looking at her dragging the I.

She gave him an apologizing look not saying anything else. I look at Logan and saw that he was already staring at me. I couldn't read his face. There were all kinds of emotion and I could feel them all.

"I guess were ready to go now." Lucas asked annoyed.

"Yes go tell your men that we can leave now." I quickly snapped back at him before anybody else could answer him.

I watch him roll his eyes at me before walking away. Everybody got back to talking to each other about what was going to happen, but I choose to just walk away.

I moved to the front of the ship and watch how we began to move. In some parts of the ocean there was still ice.

We were still in Terraite after all.

I'm sure that if we leave the border line it will get much warmer.
