It was a normal college day... when Naina saw Sameer again smoking cigarette in the corridor. But this time, a professor caught him. He scolded him but Sameer didn't apologize. Getting furious with his atitude, the professor took him to the principal.

Naina kept looking at the scene. The professor saw her and asked to come with them.

"But why sir? Why me?"
She asked abruptly.

Professor glares at Sameer and then said, looking at Naina,"You had seen him smoking... tum bhi batana principal ko."

She tries to stop professor "But sir... main-"

"Come on, Naina."
Professor didn't listen and started walking with Sameer. Naina didn't have any choice and started following them.
For the first time in so many days, Sameer looked at her but with furious look. She gave him a sad and helpless look.
He looked away in anger.

They reached the principal office. Professor complains about Sameer and also tells him about Sameer being the bully of the college and that Naina was one of his target.

"Is it true Naina?"
Principal asked looking at her.

Naina was nervous and sacred...she don't want to lie... and she will not lie.
Glancing at Sameer, who had a blank expression on his face, she took a deep breath and said,
"It's true sir ki mujhe bully kiya jaata hai."

Before principal and professor could say anything else... she again said,
"But Sameer wo bully nahi hai."

Professor was shocked with her statement but Sameer didn't showed any reaction. He kept his blank face.

"Naina... don't be scared."
Professor said.

Naina shook her head and said, "No sir... I'm not."

Turning her attention to principal, she continued,
"Sir...the one who bully other students are Sunaina and Kartik. Sameer is just a friend of them... nothing else."

And it was somehow true, Sameer must have indirectly taunted her but he never bullied her. It was always Sunaina and Kartik... Sameer would just laugh and enjoys them... which was wrong too but for now she just wanted to punish the main culprits.

Naina knew Kartik was principal's son. But she wanted to see what will he do? Is he going to suppress or ignore the situation... or will he going to take some action against his own son?

But whatever happens...for the first time she was feeling confident... she raised her voice against them.

Principal nodded and said, "Okay... but still Sameer aap college mein smoke kar rahe the. Uske liye aapko main last warning de raha hoon. Next time strict action lunga."

The three of them were going when Principal said,
"Naina... aap rukiye."

Sameer looked at Naina, who looked nervous. He thought,
"Stupid girl... agar pata hai ki principal ka beta hai Kartik toh what was the need to complain? Ab bhugto."

He was a little hesitant to leave her alone but suddenly he heard the principal,
"Sameer... you may go. Mujhe sirf Naina se baat karni hai."

Sameer nodded and goes away.

Naina stood there with lowered head. She was sacred, what if he thought she was lying  and punish her... or maybe worse rusticate her.

Principal looked at Naina, whose face had turned pale.

He chuckled and said, "Don't be scared, Naina. Main koi punishment nahi dena wala. I just want to ask something."

"What sir?"
She asked meekly.

"Kya Kartik ke baarein mein tumne jo bhi kaha wo sab sach hai... koi pressure ya revenge ke liye tumne naam toh nahi liya."

"No sir."
Naina instantly replied.

She sighed and continued, "Kartik and Sunaina jyadatar students ko bully karte hai... and Kartik is your son that's why jayadatar students complain bhi nahi karte. Main bhi nahi karti thi but aaj khud ko rok nahi payi."

Principal looked at Naina seriously. For a moment, he kept silent.
After that, he started reading his file and said,
"Hmm... okay you may go."

Naina wasn't expecting this... she wanted to know, what will he do? She gulped nervously and asked,
"Sir... aap kuch action nahi lenge?"

Without looking at her, he answered,"That's my lookout. Main dekhta hoon... main kya kar sakta hoon? Because aapke alawa abhi tak kisi bhi student ki complain nahi aayi hai... Kartik aur Sunaina ko lekar."

"But sir -"

She was going to argue but he cut her off and said looking at her with a smile,
"Maybe iss baar warning dena enough hoga."

"Sir I-"
She again tried to say something but he again didn't let her.
"You may leave, Naina."
With that, he again got indulge in his file.

Naina pursed her lips and left from there.

Sameer couldn't stop himself and waiting for Naina, outside the principal room.

After 5 minutes, he saw Naina coming out, with a dejected look.
He exactly knew the reason behind her sadness.

Naina saw him standing there with shocked expression.
Befor she could ask something, Sameer said,
"Isse pehle tum apne padhaku dimag ka istamal karke yeh kaho ki main tumhara intezaar kar raha tha... toh let me clear aisa kuch nahi hai... mujhe sir se kuch baat karni  thi."

He said and goes away. Naina looked at his retreating back weirdly.
"Ajeeb hai... principal sir se milna tha toh ab wapis kyu jaa raha hai?"

Naina didn't think much and goes from there.

Whereas Sameer, who went away, was actually hiding beside the wall. He smacked his head after hearing Naina.
"Sahi toh keh rahi hai... main bhi na. Pata nahi aaj kal kya hogaya hai? Iss chashmish se durr hi rehna padega."

It was the last lecture of the day. Naina and Sameer, with his friends, were attending that.

Naina was looking lost... Sameer was observing her for a few minutes. She was not concentrating at the lecture.

"Ise kya hogaya? Waise padhai ka bhoot sawar rehta hai... aur ab dekho."

Just then, teacher announced,
"Next week aap sabko ek assignment submit karna hai."

Everyone groaned hearing about the assignment... but the very next sentence made them happy.

"-and this... you have to do in pair."

Every girl got excited...wishing to be paired with Sameer.
But there hopes got crushed.

"Here's the list of the pairs...issi ke according assignment ke topic bhi likhe hai. Do your best... bohat important assignment hai."

After sticking the list on the board...professor left, everyone gathered around the board.

Some got excited to be paired with friends... some groaned to paired with the worst student... some girls were sulking to not get paired with Sameer.

Whereas, Sameer and his gang was still sitting at their place.
Kartik whistled and called a student,
"Jao dekh kar aao... hum sab ko kis student ke sath pair kiya gaya hai."

That student obediently nodded.

Holding, Sunaina's hand... Kartik said, "I hope main aur Sunaina ek sath ho."

Sunaina just passed a small smile. Whereas Munna and Pandit too wished to get paired their girlfriends.

Just then, Kartik looked at Sameer, who was lost in his thoughts...about Naina.

"Hum sab ko apni girlfriend mil gayi yaar... hamare gang ka most handsome ladka toh reh hi gaya."

Everyone agreed and Swati asked, "Haa, Sameer... tujhe kabhi pyaar nahi hua kya? Koi pasand nahi aayi?"

Sameer pursed his lips and thought,
"Pasand aayi thi."

Just then Kartik said, "Arre Sameer ka kya hai... hamare college ki sab ladkiyon ka crush hai... I'm sure sab ladkiyan iske sath pair banana chahti hongi."

"So true... yaar."
Preeti said and everyone agreed too. But no one notices Sunaina intense look for Sameer.

She smirked and asked,
"Sameer tumhe inme se koi bhi ladki pasand nahi hai?"

He passed a small smile... and everyone laughed seeing his blush.
Sameer looked at Sunaina for a second but then his eyes fell on Sameer... with that question still in his mind and now looking at Naina... his heart fluttered again.
Suddenly, keeping hand on his heart...he shook his head to avoid that feeling.
What the hell was wrong with him?

"Lagta hai dil ke doctor ke pass jana hi hoga... yeh dusri baar hai jab uss chashmish ko dekhte hi kuch alag ehsaas mehsus hua hai... mere dil mein."
He thought and just then, the student came back and informed all of them,
"Munna aur Swati... Preeti and Pandit ka pair hai."

"Wahh... So mera aur Sunaina ka pair hoga."
Kartik said side hugging Sunaina.

The student gulped, fearing his anger.
"Nahi... Sameer and Sunaina ka pair hai aur aapka -"

Kartik stood up angrily and said,"What!!"

"Ji... woh aisa hi likha hai."
The student answered meekly.

"Bullshit yaar... Tum dono apni girlfriend ke sath aur main."
Kartik said with irritated expression.

Everyone tries to calm him down, and after a while Munna said, "Puch toh le tera pair kiske sath hai."

Rolling his eyes, Kartik ordered the student,"Batao."

That student nodded and answered,"Kartik aur Naina ka pair hai."

"What!!!!"
This time everyone said except Sameer, who was too shocked to react.
