Nothing extremely explicit at the moments

Tanna Carson

"Finally came to your senses eh?" I roll my eyes, turning back around playfully, wanting to tease him but I freeze in place.

"Tanna."

"Jesse?"

Luke snakes his arms around my waist, snapping me right out of my stare with Jesse as he pulls me right against his chest, not leaving a sliver of distance between us.

Luke stays still, his fingers digging lightly into my skin, showing that he clearly was not going to move them any time soon.

His fingers attaching themselves to me, seeing it as a way to assert himself in front of Jesse, recognizing exactly who he was.

"Oh, uh, Jess, this is Luke-"

"Her boyfriend." He cuts me off, not letting me finish introducing him myself.

I dig my nails into the palms of my hands, feeling the tension bounce off the two of them as they keep their stare on one another, not even gazing at me.

"Jesse." He nods his head at Luke out of common decency, if you would even call it that.

"I know who you are." Luke's sentences were short, his tone very abrupt, changing almost completely from the way he was talking to me a few minutes ago.

"I'm guessing Tan told you about me?" Jesse's gaze drops from Luke for a second, winking down at me before returning his gaze to Luke.

"Not much." I could feel how tense Luke was behind me and could sense his jealously without even needing to see him.

"I guess that's better than being told about how much you hurt her." Luke's grip tightened on my waist, knowing exactly what Jesse was referring to. "She did mention you were in some band, how's that going for you?"

Jesse's words cut Luke off, preventing him from responding to his previous comment.

"Considering we're signed to Columbia Records I'd say pretty good. What is it that you do again?"

I knew Luke was purposely trying to show Jesse that he knew nothing about him, emphasizing how little I had spoken to him about Jesse.

"I'm a baseball player. One of the top Pitcher's in Los Angeles."

The amount of testosterone in one conversation was overwhelming. Something I never experienced until now.

"Um, Jess, it was really nice seeing you again, but Luke and I are going to get going." Placing my one hand over Luke's on my waist, I squeeze it gently, trying to get him to loosen his grip.

"It was, I'll see you around Tan." He says flashing a smile at me. "Luke."

"Yeah, no you won't." My eyes widen slightly at Luke's blatant hostility, nudging him simultaneously, knowing he never usually acts like this.

"Don't think you're the one who gets to decide that mate." I bite down on my lip, wanting to just walk away and pull Luke along with me.

"Maybe you shouldn't try flirt with her, right in front of her boyfriend."

"Pretty sure you don't control her."

"Far from it actually. If anything she's got the control in our relationship, except under the sheet-"

"Okayyy, bye Jesse." I quickly butt into the conversation, cutting Luke off with wide eyes before he got the chance to finish that sentence.

I pull his hand off my waist, slipping mine so it was encased in his and pull him towards the bench so I could grab my bag.

I lift my head, standing up straight and turning to the side to see Luke staring ahead of him, his eyes narrowed and his jaw clenched.

I step in front of him, placing my hand on his chest in hopes to get him to snap out of whatever is running through his head.

He lowers his head to meet my gaze, raising his eyebrow as his jaw remains clenched.

"Luke." I step closer to him, his eyes not leaving mine, which allows me to see the emotions swirling through them. "Talk to me baby."

His jaw relaxes, his mouth slowly dropping into a pouted expression and his eyes soften.

"Let's go." I sigh, understanding what he was feeling right now because if it was Laura, I can't deny I wouldn't be upset.

The two of us walk in silence to the car, side by side but the small gap between us was evident.

The car ride home was no different, leaving me sitting in the passenger seat, letting Luke drive as I stare out the window.

Spending time with Luke is something I would never be able to pass up on, even if I was clinging to him most of the time today, but now it's like all of that is cancelled out.

The car comes to a stop in the driveway, Luke unlocking the car before hopping out, shutting the car behind him and walking over to the front door.

"Great." Whispering under my breath, I unbuckle the seat belt, climbing out of the car before making my way to the house.

Luke was still standing there, locking the car as soon as I shut the door before walking inside the house and towards his room.

Maybe I should have given him space, but I followed suit, closing his bedroom door behind me.

I walk over to stand in front him where he was sitting on the bed.

"Can you tell me what's on your mind." He leans back, resting his hands on the bed behind him as he watches me intently, still keeping quiet. "Luke."

I twiddle with my fingers, standing there under his unwavering gaze, waiting for him to say something but nod to myself at his silence.

"Okay, we can talk when you're ready." I dart my tongue over my bottom lip before making my way to the door. "I'm going to shower, if you'd like to join me."

I step out of the room, making my way into my own, closing the main door before walking straight into the bathroom.

I flick on the handle, allowing the water to heat up as I undress, stepping in straight after.

I sigh in relief at the feeling of the hot water running over my body, easing all the worry out of me.

At the sound of my bedroom door closing, a smirk spreads across my face but I hide it quickly, pretending to be oblivious to the sound of his presence.

I bite down on my lip, tilting my head back underneath the water as the shower door opens, closing straight after in attempt to encase the heat.

I keep my eyes closed, feeling his hands rest on my waist followed by gentle kisses along my neck.

"I'm sorry baby." His voice is low, his lips briefly detaching themself from my skin to allow the words to leave his lips. "I know I shouldn't be jealous, I don't own you, but I can't help the fear of losing you to someone else."

I open my eyes, listening to every word as he lifts his head from my neck to meet my gaze.

"Luke, you don't need to be scared, I'm yours." His eyes widen slightly at my words, clearly not expecting them after the conversation with Jesse.

"Sorry, What?" I can't help but laugh softly at his expression, running my hands down his chest, biting my lip as I feel his muscles under the pads of my fingertips.

His body tenses underneath my touch in the best possible way and a smirk crawls onto his lips as my words register in his head.

I knew what this was doing to him, seeing the shift in his eyes.

He turns me around, pressing my back against his chest before dipping his lips down against my neck.

"You're mine?"

"Yours Luke." The words leave my mouth just above a whisper, my breathing becoming more ragged as he sucks on the skin on my neck.

I drop my head back, leaning against his shoulder for support as he releases his lips.

He slowly drags his tongue over the now-sensitive skin, causing a soft moan to escape my lips.

"Good girl."
