Tanna Carson

"We're going ice-skating?" Luke exclaims and I turn my head towards him, watching him look around the rink in awe.

"Well, that's typically what one does at an ice rink." I smile cheekily, his gaze landing on me as he rolls his eyes.

"Yeah and what about the one who doesn't know how to skate?"

"She gets to spend the whole time with her boyfriend who gets to teach her how to skate."

"Oh, well she's lucky she has such an amazing teacher." Luke says cockily, nudging me gently as the two of us walk over to the ice skate rentals.

"Where is he? I only see you here?"

"Haha, maybe you don't need a teacher at all."

"No no, I definitely do. Unless you'd like me to end up in the emergency room later on tonight."

"The only room you'll be ending up in tonight, is mine." I feel my cheeks heat up as he smirks, although anyone else could have easily mistaken them as being red from the cold.

"Yeah, you seem pretty confident about that Patterson."

"I was talking about watching another marvel movie, I don't know whats going on in your mind right now." I roll my eyes as he teases me and I push him towards the employee by the skate rental.

He smiles at the lady behind the counter, before stepping towards me and grabs my hands in his as I try to pull away.

He tugs on my hands, pulling me right into his body before he wraps his arms around me, holding me against his chest as we both face the lady.

"Hi darlings, what sizes can I get you?" I smile up at the lady, watching her eyes gaze over the two of us fondly.

"Hi, could we please get a size four and a size eight?"

"Of course, one second, I'll be right back."

As the lady walks further into the rows of shelves to search for our sizes, I feel Luke's head dip lower until his lips were inline with my ear.

"You know, if you want me to take you to bed, all you have to do is ask." My eyes widen and my breath hitches in my throat making him chuckle deeply from beside me.

"Here you go." I look back up, noticing the dark blue skates resting on the counter.

"Thank you so much." I look over to see Luke handing the lady ten dollars for our skates making me pout.

"Luke, I brought us here, I get to pay." I turn around, looking up into his eyes as his gaze meets mine.

"It's fine Tan, you can pay me back later." I narrow my eyes at him, picking up on the real meaning behind his words, yet the employe behind us pays no mind to it.

If only that lady had seen that cocky glint in his eye. 

He picks up my skates, handing them to me before taking his own and leading us over to an empty bench.

After sitting down next to Luke, I slip off my boots and pull on an extra pair of socks.

I push my feet into the ice-skates, staring down at all the buckles and adjustable straps, not even knowing where to start.

I turn to look at Luke, watching him clip in the last strap before sitting up straight, his eyes landing on mine.

I smile up at him, swinging my feet back and forth as he moves his gaze away from my eyes and onto my undone shoes.

"You don't know how to do them, do you?"

"I could figure it out if I tried." I shrug as he gets up of the bench to kneel down in front of my feet.

"Sure you could Tan."

"What, the whole Teacher deal might as well come with the whole package, shoe tying included."

It took a few minutes of pulling, adjusting and clicking and a bit of complaining on my part until Luke was finished, but to be fair, they were a bit tight.

I look down at my feet once again, contemplating how good of an idea this actually was.

"You know, maybe this wasn't the best idea."

"Come on Tan."

"Luke there are basically knives at the bottom of my shoes right now." He laughs deeply, shaking his head as he pulls on my hands until I was standing in front of him.

"They're blades baby. You trust me don't you?"

"Don't use my trust for you against me Patterson."

"Wouldn't dream of it, but I promise, I've got you Tan."

Luke kept his hand in mine as he stepped onto the ice, turning to face me as I cautiously put my foot on the ice, ready to take it right back off.

"I'm going to fall."

"No, you won't."

"What if I do?"

"Then I'll catch you. Now come."

After two hours of us skating around, which was actually more like Luke skating around and pulling me along with him, I was finally starting to get the hang of it.

"See, I'm an amazing teacher."

"What? This is all me." I say teasingly, as Luke skates backwards, moving us into the middle of the rink.

"Well then professional, show me what you got." My eyes widen as he starts to let go.

"Luke, don't you dare." Regardless of my protests, he escapes my my grip, leaving me with nothing to hold onto. "Baby, please come back."

"You got this." He smiles innocently at me, holding his arms out as a gesture for me to skate to him.

In hindsight, he was only a few meters away but it felt much further right now.

I narrow my eyes at him as I push my feet along the ice carefully, moving towards him.

The second I was close enough, my arms were wrapped tightly around his neck.

"That's my girl, I told you that you could do it." He whispers softly, placing a kiss against my forehead.

"Yeah, I think that's enough for now." I lift my head off his chest, tilting it up to meet his gaze, watching as he leans down to kiss me. "Nope, not until we are off the ice and I'm back in stable shoes."

He huffs playfully, taking my hands in his as he skates backwards, supporting my along the way until we were off the ice.

I plop down onto the bench in exhaustion, struggling to undo all the buckles but eventually pulling the shoes off in relief.

"It feels weird to be walking right now." Luke laughs at me as the two us walk over to return our skates. "Don't even comment on that..."

"I do believe now that we're off the ice, I get that kiss." 

"Not a chance, you left me on the ice alone."

"Don't be like that Tan, I know you enjoyed it."

"Along with the consuming fear and panic." I quickly try to run away, him chasing right after.

As he catches up to me, he crouches down, wrapping his arms around my legs and throws me over his shoulder.

"Luke! Put me down."

"Do I get my kiss if I do?"

"Nope. You left me!"

"Then nope, you can stay up there." He said chuckling before trailing his hand up my legs before cupping my ass. "Besides, I have a great view."

I squeal, trying to get out his grip with laughter pouring out of me as he wraps his arms back around my legs.

"Struggling is only going to make it worse."

"Luke put.. me down." I try to calm my laughter down but my words come out extremely breathless. "Baby."

"I'll put you down when I know I'll get that kiss."

"Okay, you know, it sounds quite tempting." He chuckles, placing me down carefully on the floor in front of him as he smiles down at me.

"Finally came to your senses eh?" I roll my eyes, turning back around playfully, wanting to tease him but I freeze in place.

"Tanna."
