Lucinda's POV

" Felix where are we going? " , I asked with curiosity as he lead me through the woods.

" To the beach. " , he said causally

" The beach? Why are we going this early? " , I asked him

" Oh come on Lucinda, enough with the questions...let's keep going. " , he suggested

I didn't say anything else, so I allowed him to guide me to our destination.

Once we arrived at the sandy shore, Felix held my hand as we stood in front of the shimmery ocean. Felix released my hand and motioned for me to walk further to the shore. I did as I was told and suddenly felt a something tower over me.

I breathed heavily looking up to see the shadow with the glowing eyes and I turned to look at Felix who waved a small goodbye as a tear escaped from his eye and then I realized what I had just gotten myself into.

" HOW COULD YOU? " , I angrily asked Felix " HOW COULD YOU BETRAY ME? "

" I'm sorry Lucinda. " , he said quietly

" It's for the best. " , the shadow said

" Pan was behind this...wasn't he? " , I asked the lost boy.

Felix didn't answer.

" Come on Lucinda. " , the shadow said

I walked up to Felix and lifted his chin to make him look at me in the eyes.

" Answer me. " , I said sternly

Felix narrowed his worried eyes at me and then looked away.

" Lucinda it's time to go now. " , the shadow told me

" Felix. " , I said with a touch of sadness

" It's for the best. " , he stated

" NO! " , I shouted with frustration as I backed away from Felix and darted my way into the woods running as fast as I could.

I breathed heavily in between breaths as I ran past every obstacle that got in my way risking my life in my hands.

" Come on Lucinda. You can't run from me. " , the shadow hollered out as it chased after me.

I felt plants prick my sides and my face filled
with sweats. I used all of my strength to run as fast as I can.

Once I found a tree away from the shadow's sight. I grabbed on it breathing heavily for some air and slowly crying on the inside and outside. Then I heard a rustling coming from all sides around me and looked up to see a figure coming from the bushes.

I gasped in between breaths as my eyes looked at him and my face stood emotionless. I backed away from the figure, but it just kept coming closer to me until I tripped and landed on the floor with dirt on my face. I quickly wiped the dirt off my face and stood up regaining my balance as I stood face to face with him.

No it couldn't be, but it was.

" Pan. " , I said under my breath
