When Taehyung left the coffee shop after finishing breakfast with the girl, he saw Jungkook kneeling next to the door, back against the wall of the shop and his whole face full of stained tears. Now he was just looking straightforward, staring at the cars that were passing by. No one seemed to have cared about the boy sitting there in tears, people just passed by without sparing a second of their attention to ask the boy if he was doing okay.
So he just sat there, numb to the feeling that came over him after he felt like he had no tears left to cry.

"Oh, you're here", Taehyung commented on the boy sitting there and held out his hand, "I thought you left to do the day trip on your own."

"You seem to have found better company already", Jungkook said slowly, not giving Taehyung a single look. He had enough and he was fed up by the older, wishing he wouldn't feel shit when he faced this guy.
Sadly his heart still paced up with every breath the older took near him.

"What's your problem now?", Taehyung asked a little annoyed, truly not understanding why Jungkook was getting mad again. "I saw you with the girl. You had the couple breakfast which was supposed to be for us."

"Yeah after you left me there", Taehyung groaned out, "I didn't tell you to go."
Jungkook only rolled his eyes and then got up on his own, pushing Taehyung's hand away. "You're quick at moving on when it's me but you cry years over your Ex. Maybe you're not even gay."

Taehyung sighed and raised his eyebrows, watching the boy getting mean again.
"Yeah I'm obviously straight", he joked and patted Jungkook's shoulder, "Don't you think you're being a bit ridiculous right now?"

"Don't touch me", Jungkook yelled out. "You broke my heart!"
Taehyung pulled his hand back and nodded, smiling weakly. It's something he learned from Jungkook, smiling every time it hurt. He was an expert in that usually but not today as it seemed.

"How long do you want to keep pulling this shit?", Taehyung asked calmly. "Seriously, I'm just waiting for your ass to calm down so we can actually talk for once."
"I have no interest in talking to you", Jungkook pushed Taehyung away from him and was about to walk anywhere just not here, but stopped once he realized that he just waited one hour outside of a coffee shop for Taehyung just to leave him after three minutes.

"You act like a kid right now", Taehyung said. "And I'm done", he followed Jungkook and grabbed him by his wrist, "Let's go to the art gallery as we said we would. And you stop with your unnecessary drama, I did hire you for money and you knew that. There was no rule of having to feel shit about myself just because I hurt you", he grumbled. "If you sign a contract, you do what it says or you just leave."

"I already said I'll leave."

"Then do it in silence and without putting others down. You clearly decided not to want to hear my side of the story, so fuck off and spare me from your side of it, I don't want to hear yours either."

Jungkook gasped and then went silent, "Sure. Asshole."
"Thank you."

Taehyung smiled and entered a street that lead to the museum they were heading to. It wasn't a long way and once they reached it, Taehyung got a special entrance immediately because obviously everyone there recognized him.
Jungkook felt awkward the second he saw fangirls coming running, asking for autographs or a picture. But Taehyung only told them he's here on private and he wants to keep it that way-, so no one of them got a picture.
Only one stuck around and kept asking questions like, "Are you on a trip with your best friend?? Or your brother?"

Jungkook looked down, feeling weird because he didn't like to be called something platonic when it came to his relation to Taehyung. The older was pretty much aware of it so he only gave the girl asking the questions a smirk and said, "He's not my friend and not my brother, I'd like to keep my contacts private if that's alright."

"Is it your boyfriend?!", the girl asked with big eyes but Taehyung only shook his head quickly. Not anymore, he thought to himself but just answered, "It's someone I used to know."

She gulped, looking at Jungkook and just now seeing the bags beneath their eyes, the drained out smiles and the red in their eyes that obviously came from crying. The girl put the phone away with which she wanted to record this, only gave them a nod and said, "I'm sorry", she hummed. "Really" and with that she rushed off.

"Someone you used to know?", Jungkook asked in a small voice when they entered the gallery.
"Well, it's what you're going to be soon", Taehyung gave him a smile and then started looking at the drawings that were put up here together with small texts about it's background story. Taehyung loved art galleries, he could spend ages in here just looking at art.
It was just his thing.

For Jungkook art was Taehyung, so he simply stared at him the whole time and cried again and again because he just could not hold back anymore. He hated himself for being so emotional, if only he would have kept his feelings to himself. Then they would still be fucking now and he could maybe make Taehyung fall in love with him someday- once he was over Jennie.

But that was out of question now that he ruined everything.

"Taehyung", Jungkook blurted out of nowhere after being in here for an hour.

"Hm?", the older turned around, looking at the boy curiously. He hadn't said a word in a while and it was quite surprising. "Did you do this with Jennie too?"
Taehyung sighed deeply and came closer to the younger, grabbing his hands before looking into his eyes, "You're way too obsessed with this girl", the older replied calmly. "I probably was but I don't remember everything I did with her, it's in the past."

Jungkook bit his lips and pulled his hands away, "Great so I'm second choice again."
"Oh for fuck's sake", Taehyung growled. "I remember every single day with you but I can't remember the dates I had with her, what does that tell you?"

"That you're pushing the memory of her away because it still hurts because you still love her", Jungkook explained and that's when Taehyung just turned around and walked away, leaving the museum. He had enough of this day already, he just wanted to shower and then go to sleep. The sooner those two weeks were over the better.

Jungkook however stood there in confusion, not knowing what he did wrong now.
"Oh bro", a little girl next to him laughed. "He tried to tell you being with you is what he prefers to remember.."
"What do you know", Jungkook snapped, "You don't even know him. You're just a kid."

"But I know a dumbass when I see him", she corrected him. "Hi I'm Lili", she chuckled and held her hand out. "You should run after your man, he seemed mad."

"Fuck off", Jungkook sighed.
"Bro, you're dating Kim Taehyung, how stupid can you be to let him run away?!", the girl hissed at him. "Go, I swear I won't tell anyone."

"I'm not even dating him", Jungkook crossed his arms. "And I don't take love tips by a kid. How old are you? Like 10?"

"I'm eleven, thank you", she grumbled. "You should take my tips, my boyfriend is quite similar to you. He once thought that I don't like him back just because I ate the last slice of our pizza."
Jungkook laughed, "It's like a common rule to offer the last slice to your partner tho-"

"Just like it's a common rule not to bring up the Exes in a relationship", she winked and then pushed Jungkook forwards until he was about to exit the museum. "Go fix this", she snapped. "He likes you, not Jennie-"

"How do you even know her name"
"Bro I love Kim Taehyung", she rolled her eyes, "Watched all his movies and followed him on all social media. I know my man and his backstory."

Jungkook rolled his eyes, "He's my man, back off young lady. Bet your boyfriend wouldn't like that."
"He likes Taehyung too, it's okay", Lili giggled. "We would share-"

"Well but he's mine", Jungkook crossed his arms.

"Then make sure it stays that way", Lili smiled and then turned around and rushed back inside to go search for her boyfriend who she had kinda lost in the art gallery.
This dude had a habit of always getting lost.

Jungkook sighed when he saw Taehyung standing not too far away, cuddling a puppy that passed him by with its owner. It was a cute little one and Taehyung immediately missed Yeontan who he had to leave with Rosie while he was on vacation.
Kook's heart felt a little warmer seeing him sitting there, all innocently while the puppy got all his attention. Taehyung had such a pure soul, he was truly amazing.

"Tae", Jungkook yelled out, coming closer. "I'm sorry, that was unnecessary", he hummed and stopped next to him. Taehyung got up after saying bye to the puppy and nodded, "A bit but it's whatever."

Jungkook held out his tiny finger, "I promise I'm not going to bring up Jennie anymore", he waited for Taehyung to wrap his tiny finger around his so it was a pinky promise.
But Taehyung didn't, he just poked Jungkook's cheeks. "I would like to bring her back up one last time though.."

"Why?", Jungkook asked, trying hard not to get mad again.

"Because there's still a lot you should know about all of this", Taehyung mumbled. "And it's important to fix us."

"Us?", Jungkook asked silently. "You mean you and me?"
Taehyung looked down, "It's not too late yet, Koo."

And for the blink of an eye there was hope.
Something they hadn't felt in a while.

Jungkook gulped the tears down that were about to come back up and quickly pulled his phone out to check on some messages, avoiding Taehyung's eyes. He quickly answered Hoseok that he was still alive and not back together with Taehyung and then got interrupted by Taehyung.
"Do you want to do anything else or do you want to go back to the hotel?"

Jungkook didn't look up,
"I'm fine with whatever."

Taehyung nodded, "Good, I could use some rest", he said and then took Jungkook's phone and put it away. The younger scoffed and whined out, "Give me my phone back!!"

"No", Taehyung replied, "You're here with me, either you give me your attention or I'll book you a flight home for tonight. I'm over this mess, either you hang out with me or you leave. You're not going to hookup with guys from dating apps or text my manager about me, you are going to spend this vacation with me and only me or we can just end this right here right now."

"Book the flight then", Jungkook hissed.

"If you get into a plane, there's no going back from this, Koo", Taehyung said. "I'll move on and so will you. If you even consider it a tiny little bit to give us a second chance, you'll stay and at least let me try."

Jungkook shrugged, "I don't consider giving you a second chance but I'll stay."
The older smirked, knowing exactly that Jungkook was all in for a second chance, he just didn't know how to communicate this. The boy really was bad with speaking his feelings, getting mad and angry way too easily and taking action out of impulse, not out of consideration.
They headed back to the hotel and greeted Jeno who was hanging out in the entrance hall, sipping on a beer with some guy next to him.
"Wow you two haven't killed each other yet."

"Not yet", Taehyung winked and then grabbed Jungkook's hand once they were in the elevator.
Kook looked down on their intertwined fingers and then was about to complain again but Taehyung shut him up once the elevator closed and they were on their own, pressing their lips together as he pushed Jungkook against the wall behind them, grabbing him by his waist while kissing him rougher than usual.

"Wooaa-", Jungkook squeaked out, pulling away after a couple seconds. "What was that-"

"You had your two days of acting out", Taehyung shrugged, "We're doing it my way now, if you don't like it, I can book you a flight anytime."

"What's your way?", Jungkook asked a little breathless, stepping out of the elevator because they just arrived at their suite.
They walked in, shutting and locking the door and Taehyung only smirked, "I'll just make it hard for you to leave."

"It's not like it'd be easy in the first place", Jungkook grumbled, following him towards the sofa where Taehyung sat down and pointed on top of his lap. "You think fucking me will change my mind?"

"Who says I was going to fuck you?", Taehyung laughed. "You don't deserve my dick if you don't want my heart as well."
Jungkook gulped, remembering how he used to be the same in the beginning. Not wanting to give Taehyung his all, when he didn't want his heart as well.

"So how do you think making it hard will work?"

"I'll just tell you what you're trying to avoid to hear", Taehyung inhaled deeply and wrapped his arms around Jungkook's waist who was sitting down on his lap now, looking at the older with his big, pure brown eyes. God, he was beautiful.

And all wrapped around Taehyung's finger.

What one kiss could change ..

"And what would that be?"

"Tell me, Jungkook", Taehyung leaned forwards until their lips almost met, "Have you ever read the pages in my diary from the day on where I met you? I mean, it's not like it's okay to read someone's diary in the first place-, but not finishing it and getting mad over shit from two years ago-, oh baby."

"No why would I? It's all about Jennie anyway."

"Yeah", Taehyung looked away, nodding to himself because he realized once again that Jungkook had no braincells, "Just that it's not about Jennie at all ever since I met you."
