Personality: Marcus is a very intelligent guy. He can come off as cold and rude to people he's just met or doesn't know. Unlike his twin, who is just a burning ball of curiosity, he really doesn't care what people do, unless it affects him and his twin. He isn't that trusting either, and is mainly suspicious of new people. People need to earn his trust, and it can be quite a difficult task. He can come off as a big know it all, and he doesn't like to think that he needs help from anyone. He is extremely arrogant at times, but he will always deny this. He is extremely overprotective of his twin, so he will punch you if you do anything to her. If people are able to put up with his attitude, you'll probably realise he's just an awkward, easily flustered teenage boy. He can sometimes be a bit caring and won't be a total jerk to someone, unless he has a grudge against them, he can hold a grudge like no other. Marcus can get angry easily and if you annoy him too much he can burst and start yelling things he doesn't actually mean. He is  nice in his own special way and can be empathic when someone's down in the dumps. He surprisingly hates seeing people upset, and would try his best to make them happy again, that is if he likes the person. He's very strategic and is great at making plans, he isn't that impulsive and mostly always thinks ahead.

Backstory: His mother was a witch and his father was a muggle. And honestly things couldn't get better, his father knew his wife was a witch an didn't care. When they were gifted with twins he was extremely happy, but the village started to get suspicious of Marcus's mother. One night she was putting the twins to bed and showed them a small spell for a treat, but a villager saw and immediately grabbed the guards. His father managed to get himself and his sister to safety but his mother was captured and burned.

Opinion on muggles/muggleborns: He has a grudge with muggles and he honestly doesn't know what he would do if he ever went back to his old village. As long as muggleborns don't get in his way he doesn't care what they do.
