Personality: Marcel is really just trying to live his life and not end up dead. Before he found out he was a wizard everything was great! Everything was calm, but oh no, the universe had other plans. He was thought that wizards and witches were spawns of the devil and he believed it before he found out he was one of them, now he's just very confused and scared. He tends to keep too himself, he doesn't like being around so many people, especially people who hate his guts and know how to curse him. He can get very anxious around crowds. So many eyes staring at him, judging him. It just makes him want to go back home, to the more simpler of times, where he was in his room, reading big old dusty books. Marcel has a knack for reading, he loves books with all his heart. He loves talking about books and anything to do with them, it's one of the only times he seems to come out of his shell when talking. He's a very hardworking guy and is trying his best to learn magic and spells so he can fit in with everyone else. He's very socially awkward and can get flustered really easily. He can get so frustrated at times and just become plain rude to people who don't know him, but he is truly the opposite. He can be really sweet and gentle to people he knows, he has such a big heart it's just really hard for him to show it.

Backstory: Marcel unlike most of the students here,is actually French. He grew up in Normandy and had an ok childhood, both of his parents were muggles but his uncle was a muggleborn just like him, but he never told Marcel. When Marcel started showing magical abilities, his uncle, John grew a little concerned and decided to tell Marcel he was a wizard. Marcel obviously panicked because being a wizard was bad and resulted in getting burned alive. He did his best to hide it but he was struggling with control. John told him about a wizards school he could take him too, Beauxbatons. So Marcel and his uncle were getting ready for the trip over there, well that was until it was reported the school was somehow attacked and the teachers were found and burned. So they turned to option two, Hogwarts.
