((I'm going to give you the quick basics of the backstory here so you better understand the situation, hope this clears it up!))

Camelot, one of England's most proudest and largest kingdoms. Birth place to the deceased King Arthur, and home to Queen Guinevere and their three children.

Camelot has been through much, a war, a rebellion and a loss, and currently because of its fallen king and army, its defences aren't as good as they used to be.

Before Merlin, magic was illegal in Camelot as well as many other kingdoms, and the punishment for magic was death. And in most places, it still is.

Morgana, the half sister of Arthur and close friend of Merlin grew frightened and angered due to the suffering her people were going through, at the hands of humans. And thus, she wanted to rise up and fight, to stop the
hangings, to stop the witch burnings and the killings, and thus bringing on an era of war.

Merlin simply could not go through with it, he didn't want anyone to get hurt, But yet he fought for Camelot and Arthur, and fought against his friend Morgana.

Merlin and Arthur managed to win the war, forcing Morgana and the rebels to flee. Although Merlin had won, Humans were now more afraid of witches and wizards than ever, so it did not feel like a victory for him.

In the end, Arthur was slain by Mordred, who was also cursed with the burden of magic. This left Queen Guinevere alone with her children and her kingdom defenceless.

Merlin after loosing two of his most cherished friends retreated back to Camelot to raise his children as well as to help his queen.

A few years go by, and Merlins kids are of age to go to Hogwarts, and a discovery that came with a shock, the eldest child of Arthur also held a magical gift.

Although time has passed, The muggles still cower in fear at magic, even though Merlin helped save them, they still despised him, wishing for the day where they could burn him at the stake.

The majority of the magical community felt betrayed by Merlin, how could he turn his back on his own people, after everything they went through?

And because of this,  a new group of rebels form in the halls of Hogwarts. Rebels who wanted another war, rebels who wanted to kill muggles like they killed their own. Rebels who wanted Morgana back.

And this is where the story begins.
At the start of September, wizards and witches will attend Hogwarts only to discover something sinister going on in its very halls.
