(I'll explain where this... Thing came from once im done also I made that funky lil image to go with the story usually i just make em for wattpad but eh its cool)

You were gathering up your items at home, you needed to make sure you had gotten everything ready... You had a backpack with water and plenty of food to last you for awhile, and of course your camera, that, well... Aside from food and water of course was one of the most important items for this trip, after double checking and making sure you packed everything you needed into your bag you slipped it onto your back and grabbed the camera and headed out the door, the sun was already beginning to set so you had to hurry, you quickly ran out, you wanted to get out to the forest before nightfall! It wasn't too far from your house, you just had to follow the road until the road began to turn into a dirt trail and then you should see a large gate, you continued following the road and in the distance you could faintly see the beginning of the dirt trail.

You smiled at this, this was going to be a nice trip, it'd be nice to get out into the forest and film some stuff, after all you were making a documentary of sorts... And all the best stuff you could catch at night too! You continued walking, making your way onto the dirt trail and eventually you came across where the tall gate supposedly was, as you got closer you noticed the gate had been knocked over and broken up, you blinked in confusion, that gate was pretty huge and it'd be tough to break, well break like THIS anyway... It was broken up into several pieces, wire from it strewn about everywhere, metal poles that held it together snapped in half, you pulled out your camera to record some of that, you weren't sure how it'd fit in the documentary but hey maybe you could turn this into a bit of a spooky one! "Hm... Wonder what kinda animal did this... ...If an animal even COULD do this..." You mumbled to the camera, filming the broken parts before turning it back off to save battery, you then carried on into the forest, by the time you were in the entrance of the forest it had turned into nightfall, even though you wanted to do most of the filming at night you really had wished you had left a bit earlier so you could've set everything up.

Oh well, either way you were out here now and the moment you entered into the forest you began recording, talking into the camera, introducing yourself finally and just rambling on about what you were recording for and of course some facts you knew about this forest in particular, nothing too major right now since you didn't have anything cool to film yet, and the final thing you said is you'd report back in when you found something cool happening and then you shut your camera off and continued walking. The leaves and some twigs crackled underneath your feet as you walked, you grabbed your flashlight from your bag and flicked it on and then you looked around the area, you listened to the sounds of the wind blowing through the trees, sounds of various animals as well, it sounded like an owl, some bats chittering in the distance, and of course the crickets and cicadas chirping loudly, you continued forward, you knew the perfect spot to set up your camp, you headed toward some brush and then went through it, it took you a good bit but you finally made it to the area you were going to set up camp at.

It was a fairly closed off space, surrounded by thick brush and trees, it looked pretty safe from predators that was for sure, you sat your flashlight down and got to work, you realized it was going to be a bit more tricker and now you really wished you hadn't waited this long...

You could have easily come out here earlier, gotten everything set up and THEN waited for nightfall, but oh well... It wasn't IMPOSSIBLE to set up your tent, you struggled with it sure, but eventually you had managed to get it set up right, you sighed and wiped the sweat from your forehead before grabbing your flashlight and heading inside, you placed your backpack down inside and then the flashlight, leaving it on so you could see, you grabbed some water and begin drinking some of it, after you finished that you put it back and then grabbed your camera, turning it on and recording again, this time it didn't have to be in night mode since the flashlight was on, you showed the tent that was set up to the camera "Not bad huh? Got myself a nice little set up here... I'm sure I won't be out here for TOO long, just enough to film some really cool stuff, the wildlife sure is active tonight..." You went silent, the muffled sounds of an owl hooting in the distance along with crickets and cicadas sounded off, and then you turned the camera back toward you "I'll get me some rest tonight and then film some more tomorrow"

You said goodnight to everyone and turned the camera off, since you would be showing this off to everyone once you got the tape finished, just to show everyone how beautiful wildlife and nature can be... You got comfortable in your sleeping back and then turned your flashlight off before turning in for the night, you decided it'd be best to rest for the first night, then go out tomorrow, you could film more of the sights in the morning aside from wildlife, your eyes slowly fluttered shut and you drifted off to sleep to the sounds of the forest... You managed to sleep peacefully through the night, nothing disturbing your stuff at all... Your eyes slowly fluttered open as you woke up, you sat up slowly rubbing the grit out of them, you were still a bit groggy as you looked around, you unzipped your tent and looked out, it was starting to become daylight and that's what woke you up more, you needed to get a move on! You grabbed some food from your backpack and the water you had and ate some breakfast, it was nothing too heavy, just enough fuel to keep you going for a while.

After you finished eating you grabbed your backpack, slipped it on, grabbed the flashlight and placed it back in your bag, finally you grabbed your camera and headed out of your tent, you stretched out and then headed on your way, turning your camera on and recording the area as you walked through it, it was a nice day so far, the wind was gently blowing and the trees looked so pretty and big... You looked over and quickly pointed your camera toward some deer, kneeling down and trying to make sure they didn't see you, you remained quiet and watched as they grazed, you kept recording them until they moved on and turned the camera back to yourself to give a thumbs up before turning it back around and continuing on through the area, you did talk here and there about random things so it wouldn't just be awkward silence in the whole tape... You then recorded some foxes in the distance running around and playing together and you mumbled out 'cute' before pressing onward once more, as you continued further you heard something moving out in the brush so you quickly turned your camera toward it.

This made you slightly nervous because you did know the forest was dangerous, that's why you took a weapon with you just in case you had to defend yourself, you slowly set the camera down to grab your backpack and pull out said weapon, then you picked up the camera again and called out, for a few moments there was nothing but silence until a voice came from the brush...

"Hey, don't uh, shoot or anything please!" The person then stepped out from the brush, dusting themselves off, they gave you a wave "Sorry if I startled you!" You visibly relaxed upon seeing it was a person and they didn't seem to mean any harm so you put your weapon away again, you did try not to film their face too much just in case... Speaking of filming you looked down and saw a camera in their hand "Oh, are you filming out here too?" The person nodded "Yep! My name is Tom!" You then introduced yourself and held out your hand for a handshake, the other shook your hand and then looked down at your camera "Are you out here because of the rumors like me?" You blinked in confusion "Um... Not, really...? I'm out here just filming nature and the animals for a little documentary... What... What do you mean by rumors?" Tom looked surprised by this "You haven't heard...? There's apparently this rumor going around of a REALLY large, almost giant-like creature stalking around in this forest, while I am of course skeptical, I still wanted to see if I could potentially catch a glimpse of it if it DOES exist...!" You looked intrigued by this, even if it were just merely rumors.

And besides there WAS that gate you saw "...A... Giant-like creature you say?" Tom nodded "Yeah, the rumors said the creature is speculated to be, like, fifteen foot tall!" Your eyes widened at that, a ten foot tall creature roaming around in these woods sounded... A bit frightening but it could also be really interesting to add to your documentary! Even though you were also a bit skeptical yourself "That... Does sound a bit interesting... If it were fifteen feet tall... Actually, do you think it could have something to do with this?" You stopped recording for a few moments to show them the footage you already had, the part with the gate being torn down, after that they paused and looked at you "Damn... That's... Uh, I dunno of any animal that would have destroyed the gate... Not-Not like T H A T anyways..." You nodded "Yeah it uh... Was pretty weird..." Tom then pulled out his camera and showed you some of his footage "I saw some broken stuff too, there was a LOT of broken brush and trees around, it looks like things were broken off from the brush and dragged off by something... I uh dunno if its truly anything but I recorded it anyway"

You watched the footage, listening to the voiceover Tom had made on it, you looked at the broken brush and some of the trees and then finally you looked at the drag marks on the ground, those were made from some pretty thick and hefty trees... So the ones dragged off clearly weren't dead or anything "Hm... Maybe a bear could have knocked them over? Dragged them?" Tom shrugged, putting his camera back after the footage ended "Maybe, either way, it can make for a pretty cool sight... Aside from the broken gate, have you captured anything else so far?" You nodded and showed him the footage of the deers and foxes and he smiled at that "Damn... Nature really is beautiful, and it's so peaceful out here... Damn though, the sun's already up in the air... I should probably get going and I don't wanna keep you from filming anything either" You nodded "Well good luck out there! I hope you, well, find what you're looking for I guess?" Tom smiled "Same to you, I'm sure we'll cross paths again eventually anyway, it's bound to happen!" Tom then said his goodbyes and waved as he walked away, you waved back and then continued on your way, you continued filming some of the sights and the animals as well.

Eventually you had come across an open area with a waterfall and a river, you looked on in awe as you filmed the surrounding area "Damn... This is really beautiful!" There were many animals down by the river getting some water to drink and even a few bears drinking and catching some salmon up on top of the waterfall, you decided not to stick around here for too long since there were bears and you headed on your way, getting some final shots of the waterfall as you walked away... After that you headed into an area where the trees and brush were much more dense, you noticed this area kinda looked similar to the area shown on Tom's footage so you ventured forward, trying your best to push past all the brush that was in your way, as you managed to navigate your way through the dense area you looked up ahead and saw multiple trees that had been uprooted and strewn about, brush and debris were everywhere and just like in Tom's video there had been lines in the ground indicating that something was dragging these trees and brush away, you headed forward and gasped upon seeing some kind of... Well honestly you didn't know what they were, they looked like some kind of tracks on the ground but you knew of no kind of animal that could make those marks in the ground.

You filmed the tracks and pointed your camera to where they headed "I have no idea what made these but... I guess this documentary just became a lot more interesting, huh...?" You spoke and began to follow the tracks, you felt... Nervous but you were curious as to where they led, you kept staring down at them just comparing the size of those tracks to yourself, they were MUCH larger than you... You somewhat commentated on and off as you followed the tracks, you saw more and more damage the further you followed the trail and eventually it led you to a huge cave, your mouth fell agape as you stared into the dark cavern, you didn't know w h a t lived in there and quite frankly you didn't want to know... You turned back and began heading back the way you came before a loose branch made you trip, you fell over and heard something crunch underneath you, your eyes widened when you heard the sound and you immediately sat up and moved away from what crunched, it looked like... An egg of some kind? ...It was a fairly large blue egg-like thing, you cringed and wiped some of the stuff from your shirt and grabbed your camera that had fallen from your hands, you pointed it down toward the broken egg "...I dunno what that thing is but... Sorry lil guy..." You felt bad about smashing the egg.

It's not like you did it intentionally, you tripped, what more could you have done? You had said your apologies but then you heard an ear-piercingly loud screech in the distance, you winced in pain and then gasped and pointed your camera into that direction "What the fuck was that?!" You hadn't ever heard something like that before in your life... Even though you hadn't, whatever made that sound, it sounded angry... REALLY angry... You quickly switched your camera off and then headed out of this area, not wanting to stick around and find out what it was if it came this way, you actually began running even to get as far away from this area as you could, you ran back through the dense brush and trees and back the way you came, you needed to head back to your tent because the sun was already halfway up in the air, it'd be setting soon enough and after the noise you heard you DIDN'T wanna be out here without any shelter... As you made it back through the river area you ran into Tom, literally... You bumped into him and then fell back, he turned around and then saw you on the ground "Oh damn, you alright?!" He held out a hand to pull you back up and then he looked at the mess on your shirt.

"...Wh-What happened to you? You look... Scared? Is there like, an animal after you?" You shook your head and pointed back that way "I-I-I just... Just... Look here, listen..." You pulled your camera out and showed him the footage of the tracks, the destroyed trees and brush and then the cave... The camera then showed you tripping and breaking the egg, and then the loud screech of course at the end... Tom's eyes widened as he looked at you "...I...I've never heard or seen anything like that..." You nodded at this "Do... Do you think that could have been that creature everyone's talked about, the rumors you mentioned?" Tom was silent for a few moments before looking at you "...I... I dunno but... Listen, mind telling me where you found that area? Which way did you go? I need to get some for my own film" You shook your head "I...I, Tom... Look, I don't think it's a good idea... For you to go there... Whatever made that sound, didn't sound too happy..." Tom sighed "Listen dude, I promise... I'll only go and film some stuff for my tape and THEN I'll leave, I promise I WON'T stay there for long... Just tell me... Where the area is..." Tom looked desperate and you sighed.

"Alright fine... Just, get in and get out of there as fast as you can, I just... Don't trust that area..." Tom nodded and watched as you pointed and listened to your instructions, after you told him where to go he nodded and gave you a gentle hug "Thanks! You are a lifesaver, now I can FINALLY have some good footage!" Tom quickly sprinted off in that direction, waving at you which you waved back, you sighed, you hoped Tom would be alright... You then turned and kept heading back toward your tent, it took you a long while and you managed to film some more wildlife on your way back but after what happened not too long ago you still couldn't shake that out of your head, that awful sound... The egg you encountered, you continued until you finally made it back to your tent, the sun was starting to set by the time you made it back to your tent... You set your camera down and then pulled your backpack off, you then unzipped it and grabbed some water, you took some sips of it before finally pulling some food out to eat, as you ate you kept thinking about the tracks, the cave, the egg and then finally the noise you heard...

You had really hoped Tom would be alright... You knew how badly he wanted to get stuff for his film but... If those rumors WERE true then... He could get hurt, or worse... ...You shook your head, trying not to think about the situation too much... You were just shaken up about it, that's all, Tom would be fine... You finally finished your meal and sighed, you then zipped your backpack up and tossed it inside the tent, you sat there for a few moments before glancing down toward your camera... You sighed and picked it up, reviewing the footage for yourself, from the moment you found the tracks all the way until the screech, that sound... It sent shivers down your spine as you heard it again and looked out into the distance "...Tom... You better be careful out there..." You mumbled to yourself, after what happened today you decided you weren't going to go out filming tonight either, you honestly felt like packing up and heading out of here in the morning if you were being honest with yourself... You watched as the sun slowly fell, the sunset was beautiful so you decided to film a little bit of it before the night fell. There was no moon tonight it seemed...

You headed into your tent and then zipped it up, placing your camera down close by and then your backpack down as well, you then crawled into your sleeping bag and got comfortable, you stared up at the ceiling of your tent for a while, you kept thinking about the situation earlier...

And you also kept worrying about Tom, you had no idea if he was alright or not out there... ...You could only hope he hadn't gotten into any trouble out there, eventually after probably thirty or forty minutes you FINALLY managed to close your eyes, eventually you drifted to sleep... Overall you managed to sleep peacefully ...For a while anyways... You were suddenly woke up with a loud screech much like the one you heard earlier in the distance, you shot up from your sleeping bag and grabbed your camera and flashlight, you unzipped the tent and peered out, turning your flashlight on so you could see, so far there was nothing out there, only the typical sounds of crickets and cicadas, and an owl sounding off at night like usual... You blinked, maybe you were just hearing things... You flinched upon hearing the screech although it sounded closer this time, you began to feel really nervous and tense... You slowly hopped out of your tent and scanned the area with your flashlight, there were no signs of anything around... You then jumped as you heard rustling in the bushes nearby, that was close, t o o close to your tent for comfort...

You bit your lip, and shined your flashlight in that direction, you saw the bushes rustling like crazy, you didn't really want to approach them just in case it was a wild animal so you stayed put, after a few more moments of rustling it all went silent for a few minutes, aside from the usual forest sounds of course... Finally, you yelped as you saw something fall out of the bushes, you shined your flashlight on it and your eyes widened at what you saw, it was... "T-Tom?!?" You yelled out as you ran over, placing your stuff down aside from the flashlight to look over at him, the man looked pretty beat up and hurt, you then looked down toward his leg and almost screamed "W-What happened to you?!?" His leg... It was missing, it looked like something had torn it off! Tom coughed and spluttered a little, he was bloody and he looked like he was scared half to death "I-I... I saw it, I fucking saw it... I-I saw the creature!" You looked at him confused "I-I... Okay, we need to get you outta here...! You need to get to the Hospital!" Tom coughed again "You aren't listening to me! I fucking SAW the damn thing! I-It was HUGE! Just like everyone said! I-I managed to... Film, b-but I couldn't r-risk turning around to film the fuckin' t-thing... b-But the noises are there! It's there! and then- oh god, fuck... My... My leg... It chased me down and tore my leg off!"

Tom shoved his camera at you "Look!" You shook your head "Tom, we don't have time for this, I NEED to get you some help!" Tom insisted on you looking at the footage and you huffed in frustration, you snatched the camera and took a look at it, your eyes widened as you watched the film play it... It started off with Tom finding the area with the broken trees and brush, and then you listened as he talked about the tracks, he followed them same as you did, he was putting on a dramatic voice for the camera at first until finally he came across the cavern, he began talking about it but unlike you... He had actually went into the cavern, he hadn't gone super far in there but he went just far enough to see more of those eggs, just like the one you had accidentally crushed, he commented on them as well, he then pointed his camera around and filmed himself posing by the eggs "An interesting find if I do say so myself, haha!" You gasped as you saw eyes in the background, and then you watched as he pointed the camera back around and he seemed to freeze, the camera capturing the eyes in the darkness, a pink and yellow set of eyes stared down at said camera "...W-Wha...What the f u c k is that?" He couldn't see since it was hidden deeper back in the cave.

He didn't have time to flip night vision mode as the creature let out a shrill ear piercing screech and judging by the sounds of it, it must've had wings as winds gusted the camera and almost knocked Tom down, that's when he yelled and turned around and began running, you could hear him yell out profanities and you could hear something loud following behind him, it almost sounded like a heavy metal clanging behind him, the creature roared and screeched which made Tom yell out, he called for help, as he continued to run, his breathing getting more and more raspier, whatever was behind him was f a s t, you could hear it gaining on him, you watched the tape in horror as Tom ran into the trees and brush, scratching himself up in the process, meanwhile the thing had been slowed down admittedly, you could hear the sounds of trees and brush being torn apart and the creature roared again, Tom didn't dare turn around, his priority definitely wasn't filming right now as he continued to run, even with the trees slowing it down just a bit it still sounded too close for comfort.

Suddenly and unexpectedly, Tom screamed out in pain as he collapsed to the ground, the camera had flown out of his hands and landed somewhere, you couldn't see Tom now but you could hear some kind of sounds even if it was kind of faint ones, it almost sounded like he was being... Electrocuted somehow... You heard him crying in the tape and then the loud clanging of what was presumably footsteps, the entity clearly wasn't running now, merely walking... You heard Tom trying to plead with whatever this thing was and then the clanging stop before it screeched and that's when you heard Tom scream out in pain again, this time his scream sounded worse than before, you cringed upon hearing the noises of what was presumably the creature tearing his leg off, you couldn't take it anymore... You shut the tape off and looked down at Tom who was sobbing "I-I don't... I-I can't even BEGIN to explain what the fuck I saw... Please, please- I... I... Fuck my leg... Hhh..." You set his camera down "Okay just, hang on Tom, I have a medical kit that can at LEAST help stop the bleeding and stuff to keep it from getting infected... Just hang on, it's gonna be okay... I'll get you out of here...!" You quickly ran off back to your tent, grabbing your backpack and heading back out toward Tom.

You quickly got to work on disinfecting his leg, listening as he cried out in pain "Sorry, sorry...! I know it hurts, I just... I gotta make sure it doesn't get infected...!" Tom nodded, you tended to some of his other wounds as well and then wrapped up his leg with a cloth to stop some of the bleeding, Tom looked exhausted already, after you got him situated you packed your kit back up and threw everything into your bag, even his camera, you placed it on your back "Just hang on, I gotta get one more thing and then we'll get outta here, okay?" Tom only nodded, he looked shaken up and completely terrified, you quickly ran back to your tent to grab your own camera, you placed it in your backpack and then finally you headed back toward Tom one final time and you picked him up, you let him lean against you and you began walking, you didn't have any time to pack your tent up, you needed to get him out of here and n o w... And quite frankly after this whole ordeal you wanted out of here too! You turned your flashlight on so you could at least see and walked on and kept talking to Tom, trying to calm him down a little, you tried to get his mind off whatever happened to him.

You shined your light around, trying to look for any sign of the trail that led through into the forest, if you could just find that then you could get out of here without any more problems...

As you continued walking your flashlight began flickering, you huffed "Oh please...! Not now...! C'mon I need you to see...!" Tom was silent, he was just trying his best not to slow you down too much, he stayed silent as you tried shaking your flashlight, at first you thought that had fixed it until the flashlight's battery died, you groaned in frustration and threw it to the side, you reached behind you and grabbed your camera and flicked it on, not really caring to film right now, you just turned on night vision mode so you could see, you continued walking, being very careful not to drop Tom who was shaking somewhat "...Ar...Are we... Are we g-gonna die... Out here...?" You looked toward him in shock and shook your head "Tom, I'm NOT going to let you die, we AREN'T dying to ANYTHING out here... I'll get us both out of here, I promise, the trail shouldn't be too far from here...!" Tom seemed like he wanted to be hopeful by that but he only fell silent, you looked down at your camera, it seems you had accidentally hit record but eh it was of no matter, you were just using its light to get out of here... And hell people needed to KNOW something was out here anyway so they would stay away!

You continued walking, huffing slightly, it was hard to carry Tom but you wouldn't give up on him! The more you walked the more you began to realize, you had... No idea where you were going, you thought this was the way to the trail! You didn't wanna mention it to Tom since he already seemed scared enough so you kept it to yourself, you just tried to keep going the direction you were already headed, maybe... Maybe the trail was just further than you thought...! You continued to talk somewhat to Tom, not caring if he responded, you just wanted to keep him awake and calm... You looked around the area somewhat with your camera trying to see if ANYTHING was familiar to you, so far nothing... You listened to the sounds of the forest, for once it wasn't a peaceful thing for you to hear, you wanted out of here, and you wanted out of here now...! "Tom? Do you have a cell phone by any chance?" Tom nodded "...T-There's no service... O-Out here... W-We... We can't call anyone... I-I've... H-Hhh... I've tried already..." You sighed, so much for that plan, either way, you kept on going, you tried your best not to panic too much.

Soon enough you got to an area you didn't know at all, you had no clue where you were going! You sighed in frustration and then your eyes widened as you heard a large and loud roar in the distance, Tom's eyes widened and he started panicking again "THAT'S IT! THAT'S THE FUCKING CREATURE! I-I KNOW THAT SOUND...! W-WE'RE GONNA DIE, WE'RE GONNA FUCKING DIE OUT HERE!" You shushed Tom, trying to calm his yelling and crying "T-Tom! Tom...! Hush...! It's going to find us if you don't keep your voice down...! I won't let it kill us! I told you already I am GOING to get us out of here...! Now sh! Shshsh! If it hears us... I can't get us out of here...!" Tom listened, and he quieted down but his breathing was still raspy and shaky, he was even sobbing a little "...The roar sounded distant anyways... It's not near us... Let's keep going..." You continued on, trying to calm Tom down but it was no use this time. Even though you stopped his sobbing, he was completely terrified now... As you continued walking you were starting to get desperate, desperate to find the trail, to see the broken gate, to see ANY signs of familiarity. You heard a screeching sound, this time that made Tom sob but he didn't yell or scream or anything, that screech sounded... A bit closer so you went in a different direction, going away from the noise...

You were starting to get tired, tired from carrying all this weight and tired from just walking in general, it felt like you were just going nowhere at this point, you felt hopeless and you figured Tom was starting to give up hope too "...Let's face it, you don't know where we're going... And I don't either... We need to face the facts, we're going to die out here...!" You shook your head "Tom, I said-" "I don't fucking care what you said...! It's hopeless! We're doomed...!" You and Tom started arguing now, both of you saying some rather harsh things to each other as you continued onward, the panic and stress was getting to the both of you already... After a good while of arguing, you looked ahead and stopped dead in your tracks at what you saw... Tom kept jabbing at you before he noticed you weren't speaking, he could then feel you start trembling "...I... I... H-Hey... O-Okay... Look... I-I'm sorry... I shouldn't... Be like that, you... You are just trying to help after all, h-hell you could've just left me here... H-Heh..." When you didn't respond Tom blinked and called out your name before looking closer, he could just barely see you in the camera screen's light and he saw you had an absolutely horrified expression on your face.

Tom froze then and slowly turned his head around to face the same direction you were facing and then it was his turn to tremble... You looked at what was in front of you, not through the camera but just from what you could see yourself... It was a pair of eyes, pink and yellow, and some kind of upside down triangle was on its chest, it was glowing a yellow color also... Whatever it was, was looking ahead at first until suddenly it's gaze snapped down toward the both of you, the pink and yellow eyes glowed down upon you, shining you in a light as bright as a spotlight's... You could now faintly make out the creature's face... It had a long pointed nose, it looked like it had black fur or feathers surrounding it's head and neck almost... It's face was a ghostly white color... But the most horrifying part was it's mouth... Stuck in a grinning-like state you could see far too many needle-like teeth, those teeth seemed to be stained red and had bits of clothing attached to it still from what you could see... You and Tom were frozen in terror as you and the creature stared at each other, neither one daring to make a move.

The creature sniffed at the air before starting to emit a low growling sound, you noticed what you could assume was it's wingspan spreading out, it's right wing glowed the same colors as its eyes, pink and yellow... The left side was glowing some shades of purple and then a bit of green at the bottom, an odd color combination but now was HARDLY the time to be concerned by the colors... It's wingspan was HUGE as well, it flapped its wings and the gust was almost strong enough to knock the two of you down... It must've been some kind of bird-like entity but the fact it was growling like it was, the teeth it had, just... This was wrong, this wasn't like anything anyone had ever seen before... This was something straight out of your worst nightmares... You glanced at your camera and you could see it a bit better on night vision but only its lower half, you could see it's hands so far with where your camera was pointed... Your eyes widened when you noticed it had long claws for fingers and those claws seemed to be bloodied, and then all fell silent... It stopped growling, the cicadas and crickets stopped chirping, the entire forest fell into a deathly silence... The silence lasted for a while before the creature looked up and let out the loudest roar you had ever heard in your life, that very roar shook the foundation of the forest itself!

That's when you both screamed and you ran for it, or well ran as best as you could, you were carrying Tom after all, you were both screaming profanities now as you heard the creature behind you, it sounded like it was merely walking instead of running now, that thing... It was intelligent, in fact you could swear you heard something imitating a chuckle come from it but surely it was just your imagination, as Tom noticed the creature was gaining on the both of you, he suddenly pulled away and pushed you further, you stumbled a bit and fell over "T-Tom?! The fuck are you doing?!" Tom looked at you sorrowfully "It's going to get both of us if you keep carrying a straggler like me... I'm going to slow you down and get us both killed so, go! Go please, get the FUCK outta here, and for what it's worth, I'm sorry... For all that I said..." You shook your head and stood up "Tom, I am NOT leaving-" You gasped as you saw the creature charge and reach out a hand for Tom, he screamed as it grabbed him "GO! GO NOW! PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF!" Before he could even utter another word, the creature leaned down, biting and ripping Tom in half, quite literally... Blood spewed out and some organs fell from his body, you screamed in horror at this and screamed Tom's name, you sobbed at this.

But nonetheless, while the creature was busy eating away at what was left of Tom you fled, running as fast as you could, your chest heaving up and down as you ran ahead, you had no idea where you were going still but you didn't care as long as you got away from whatever the fuck that thing was, tears pricked at your eyes which you tried to wipe away with your sleeve, you were still holding your camera so you could see, you kept running, running as fast as your legs could carry you, this was a nightmare, this was just a nightmare...! Surely, there's NO way a creature like that existed! You tried to deny all this was really happening but all you could manage to think about was seeing Tom get ripped apart, you could practically hear the gross squelching as the creature feasted on him, you kept on running until you felt your legs starting to give out, you had to stop to take a breather... You gasped in as much air as you could, you almost began to choke with how hard you were gasping, your chest heaved up and down and your legs were starting to wobble... From all the previous walking you had done with all that weight, it had REALLY taken a toll on you.

You fell to the ground, dropping your camera in the process, you sobbed uncontrollably and punched at the ground, muttering profanity after profanity, you cursed that creature and you cursed this damn forest even... You sobbed into your hands and kept thinking about Tom, thinking about how he basically sacrificed himself for you, and the last thing you two did was fight with each other, you hadn't even gotten a chance to apologize either... It wasn't FAIR! It wasn't fucking fair! You couldn't even keep the promise to him, the promise that you were going to get him out alive! And you knew, you couldn't keep going either... Maybe for like a few more minutes but it'd get you nowhere, you were completely lost, the trail and gate were nowhere to be seen, and you had no way to call for help... Tom's sacrifice... It was all in vain, everything was... You continued to sob and then looked over at your camera, it was pointed toward you so you turned toward it, your eyes puffy from crying, you told the camera your name and a bit about yourself, then told the camera where you were from, told it what you were doing out here essentially, just some details... You trembled as you heard the loud clanging in the distance, you could tell the creature wasn't running, it was merely walking again... It was as if the creature was somewhat toying with you... You quickly cut to the point as the clang's got louder "...I-If you somehow manage to find our tapes... P-Please, please... Get out and... STAY. THE. FUCK. AWAY. FROM. HERE..."

As you warned everyone and said your goodbyes you could hear the clanging stop right behind you, you sobbed, not even daring to look behind you because you knew, hell you could feel it's awful breath on your back already... The creature made some awful noises and then the camera went fuzzy and there was some static, the final thing your camera would ever capture... Is you screaming and struggling as you were dragged away by whatever this thing was... The camera would continue rolling even after you were long gone, until it finally seemed to run out of tape...

(Soo here's the dealio, I've been watching Lost Tapes, that old animal planet show that got me into the lost/found footage horror genre in the first place, and I got inspired to make... Well, Spamton Neo into a Cryptid, I mean if it weren't obvious by the blue eggs aka Pipis, pink n yellow eyes, etc the story IS indeed about him, what kinda cryptid is it? ...I'd say it's some kinda Hybrid-like Entity but anyways uhh take some content? ...I just like to make things horrifying lmao, also the first time where I DIDNT use y/n! ..idk I just for THIS specific story I felt as though y/n would kinda ruin the vibes...

The biggest questions to ask is, were yours and Tom's tapes ever recovered? ...Who knows!
