PAPYRUS' P.O.V.

"UNDYNE THE HUMAN HAS BEEN GONE FOR TOO LONG!! I WILL GO LOOK FOR THEM AGAIN!" I told Undyne. Just as I walked out of Waterfall I saw Y/n fly from the sky and land on the snow, all bloody and unconscious.

"HUMAN!!!" I screamed. I rushed to Y/n, and slid to my knees. I quickly picked Y/n up.

"UNDYNE!!! UNDYNE!!!" I frantically called to Undyne. Undyne rushed to me and when Undyne saw you she grew angry. Undyne aggressively searched for a pulse. When she didn't fine one she grabbed you out of my arms and slammed you into the snow. Undyne fell to her knees and slammed her fist into the ground.

"YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO SAVE THE UNDERGROUND! YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO HELP ALPHYS!!" Undyne screamed at Y/n. Undyne lifted Y/n's body by the shoulders and started shaking Y/n violently. I looked at the way Undyne was handling Y/n, and I felt something start to boil up inside me.

"WHAT HAPPENED TO ALL THAT TALK ON HOW YOU WERE GOING TO SAVE US! SAY SOMETHING!!" Undyne wailed.

"SAY SOMETHING!!" Undyne sobbed. I stared at Y/n with shock, sadness, and anger... Anger I'd never felt before, maybe that was what the boiling feeling was... I screamed in fiery. I couldn't control myself, I grabbed Y/n from Undyne.

"HUMAN! YOU PROMISED ME YOU'D FIND MY BROTHER!! YOU PROMISED!!" I yelled and slammed Y/n on the ground. I started pounding my gloved hands on Y/n's chest.

"NOW STAY WITH US AND FULFILL YOUR PROMISE!!" I was banging on Y/n's chest harder and faster. I was banging so hard that Y/n's bones were cracking.

"PAPYRUS STOP!" Undyne screamed at me, but I couldn't. Undyne tackled me and held me down. I felt myself start to grow more angry and I shoved Undyne off me. We entered a fight, Undyne was thrown off by my behavior, but she didn't fight me.

"STOP PAPY!" Undyne yelled at me.

"PAPY! THEY CAN'T HELP US IF YOU MURDER THEM!" Undyne yelled. I stayed quiet and tried to calm myself. I fell to my knees and started to sob. The battle ended.

"BUT SANS..." I sobbed

"I know." Undyne said and pat my back and gave me a hug.

"You know the trick to saving a dead person is not to kill them." A child's voice said. Undyne summoned several spears and I summoned my bones. We quickly got up and faced the voice. It was another spirit.

"CAN YOU FIX THE HUMAN?" I asked the spirit desperately, they nodded.

The child was green and white. The child had black hair and was wearing a green and white dinosaur onesie. The child's hair blocked the left side of her face. The child grabbed my arm and Undyne's arm. Then she placed Undyne's hand on Y/n's right shoulder and my hand on Y/n's left shoulder. The child put their feet against Y/n's legs and grabbed our unoccupied hands. Y/n's body was beaming with blue magic. And as soon as the healing was done. The spirit started to disappear.

"The name is Crystal. You need to tell Y/n my name, that is very important!" Crystal said and was gone into the ring on your pinky finger. Y/n moaned as Y/n was starting to wake up. I wiped my eye sockets and grabbed Y/n by the shoulders.

"HUMAN YOU MUST LET ME KNOW DID YOU FIND MY BROTHER!!" I asked shaking Y/n.

Y/n nod your head.

"I found him, but... I couldn't save him." Y/n looked down in disappointment. Sadness filled me, but I still held onto my hope.

"IS HE OKAY?!" I asked. Y/n's face scrunched up like they were looking for a good response for my question.

"He's alive..." Y/n answered. Relief flooded through me. 'He's alive! That means we can save him!' I thought excitement flooded through me. I wrapped my arms around Y/n and squeezed Y/n tightly.

"HUMAN, ARE YOU OKAY?" I asked Y/n. They nodded their head.

"Thank goodness you're alright." Undyne answered for me.

"YES HUMAN THANK GOODNESS..." I stopped myself from saying anything else.

YOUR P.O.V.

"THANK YOU HUMAN FOR FINDING HIM. I DON'T KNOW WHAT I WOULD DO... IF HE WERE... YOU KNOW..." Papyrus was going to say dead. Suddenly your charm bracelet started glowing pink and green. Papyrus looked at you with panic and Undyne summoned a spear.

"It's okay! Nothing bad is going to happen, just watch!" You tell them, Undyne didn't completely believe you.

The pink and green glow lifted Papyrus off the ground and gathered up dirt, dust, and fixed up the snowy place. Papyrus was smiling when he was floating like he just saw a good memory. Undyne was looking curiously at the dust, and dirt gathering. The dirt and dust were all condensed into a small sphere. Watching the green and pink in the sky filled you with determination.

Once all of Snowdin was cleaned up the sphere exploded like a firework. Immediately after the sphere exploded everything that was gathered into the sphere was sucked into the charm bracelet. The charm's color quickly disappeared and the metal changed from a beautiful, shining gold into changed into an old, kind-of rust rose gold. You look at the sparkling snow in awe. All the buildings looked so new and clean and even some monsters were popping out of the snow. You looked at Undyne and saw her face light up with awe, curiosity, and excitement. Papyrus looked at the town with pure joy in his eyes. Papyrus grabbed you in a hug and started spinning you around in circles. He was jumping up and down as he spun you. When Papyrus put you down you fell into the snow because of the dizziness. A loud, laugh bursted from Undyne. Suddenly Undyne's smile disappeared. Undyne watched Papyrus run up to the once dead monsters and play with them and explain things to the monsters who had questions. Undyne grabbed your arm.

"I need to tell you something." Undyne whispered to you. Papyrus was distracted with the other monsters to notice that you and Undyne slipped away.

"What do you need Undyne?" You asked when you stopped at an empty sentry station.

"I think we should leave Papyrus here." Undyne said. You felt curiosity fill up inside you.

"Why?" You asked

"The monsters in Snowdin need him, he can explain things to them and protect them as well, but he need to stay here." Undyne explained, but she seemed to have more to say. You gave Undyne a look to continue.

"And?" You hinted her to say more. Undyne sighed.

"Papyrus is tough, but he doesn't have the heart to hu-- err kill anyone or anything, and with Sans involved I think it might be too much for him to handle. I just think it would be better for him to stay here and watch over Snowdin." Undyne said you looked at Undyne, Undyne was right. With Papyrus things might get a bit messy, especially with Chara keeping an eye on Papyrus.

"You're right... But I feel bad for leaving him behind..." You told Undyne, she nodded understanding the your guilt.

"I will tell him and you can continue ahead and I will be right behind you." Undyne said you nodded and began to leave, but Undyne grabbed your shoulder.

"You have to know the name of the spirit-thingy inside the ring, her name is Crystal. She told he that it was important to tell you her name. Don't let me catch you causing any trouble for the monsters in Waterfall. They have been through enough. Now go you have to help the rest of the Underground." Undyne said and push you past the sentry station and ran off.

You wanted to run after her, but you stopped yourself and went through the cave. You walked back into the long grass from before. You walked calmly through the grass, then suddenly something ran past you and brushed up against your leg. You gasped and jumped. You wanted to run, but you heard loud, echoing metallic clanking or stomping. You wanted to look up, but felt yourself freeze up. You heard Papyrus' voice, but his voice seemed to flow in one ear and out the other ear. You barely heard Papyrus leave when you stepped forward a bit. The metal clanking began again, and you froze. You wanted to just run, but your body wouldn't let you move. You saw a flickering blue glow above you and decided to stay still. You waited for what seemed like forever, when the light disappeared.

There was more metal clanking and waited a good two minutes before you walked out of the long grass. You felt something brush up behind you, touching your butt. You turned around to see what it was and found a yellow fuzzy, striped, kind-of dusty, big headed  monster child. The monster child didn't seem to see you and rammed you out of the tall grass. The monster child gasped in shock when he noticed you. The monster child looked at you with puppy dog eyes.

"Yo I'm sorry dude. Didn't see you there. Heh heh." The monster child started to run off, but tripped over his feet. He landed on his face and you rushed over to help him up.

"Thanks dude. Yo! Are you sneaking out to see her too? Awesome. She is cool right, I want to be just like her when I grow up... Oh Yo! You're a kid too. I can tell because of your..." The monster child stopped trying to see why he recognized you as a kid, but he couldn't find one. He shrugged his shoulders and started running again. You nodded and followed Monster Kid.

~Time Skip~

As you walked the waterfall place was all muddy and smelled like a swamp, the water was disgusting, and the your feet sank into the ground. You were up to your waist in mud. You struggled through the Waterfall.

You had just walked out of a garbage infested, muddy, murky water garbage dump. You saw Napstablook you happily jog up to Napstablook.

"Napstablook! Hi!" You said running up to him. Napstablook looked at you with surprise in his circular eyes.

"Hey Y/n. How are you?" Napstablook asked

"I'm good how are you?" You ask, Napstablook smiles at your question, but he doesn't answer you.

"Hey if you want to hang out visit my house if you want." Napstablook offered, then he saw you start to sink into the ground. A worried look crossed his face.

"How about I show you my snail farm instead..." Napstablook said quietly. You look at yourself and notice your soaked in mud and disgusting water. You decide that Napstablook was right not to let you inside. 'How can a ghost clean up mud?' You thought to yourself.

"Yeah that's probably a better idea." You said, flushing with embarrassment. Napstablook smiled again and disappeared and ran into the hall in front of you.

Through the hall there were two wilting, sad, and faded houses. The two houses were crumbling. To your left was a hall that had fences that were sunk into the mud, some of the fence was rotting or already rotted. You continued down the hall so you could get a better look at the rest of the snail farm. There were no snails only snail shells and a large, dark green, muddy floating snail in a torn tux floating on a tiny snail. You were convinced the large snail wasn't a snail, but a tiny green person. You wanted to get a closer look when suddenly Napstablook popped in front of you. You jumped and slipped when your feet touched the ground. You started sinking into the mud, Napstablook looks at you panicked. He tries to help you up but your hand went right through him. You heaved yourself to a fence post, luckily it wasn't too rotten. You grabbed the top of the fence and pull yourself up.

"sorry Y/n..." Napstablook said sadly and filled with guilt.

"It's okay, Napstablook!" You say quickly so he doesn't worry too much. You continued to the last part of the snail farm, there was a racing area that was flooded out. You decided it was time to leave so you looked for Napstablook. Napstablook and he popped in front of your face again. You stifled your gasp, but Napstablook still heard.

"Hey I am heading out good luck with your farm." You waved goodbye to Napstablook.

"goodbye Y/n!" Napstablook called out to you. You waved again and tried to run off. You stumbled clumsily through Waterfall.

~Time Skip~

You had just left Onionsan promising to help him get out of the disgusting water that makes him sick. When you saw Monster Kid beside the umbrella bucket, Kid was happy to see you. He looked like he wanted to run towards you but didn't. You dragged yourself towards Monster Kid when you noticed a worn down, dusty, broken, human-like monster statue. The statue was being rained on so you ran unto the umbrella bucket and retrieved an umbrella. Monster kid was about to follow you, but you walked away and Monster Kid went back to stand beside the umbrella bucket. You walked up to the statue and you gave the statue an umbrella, you smiled at the statue.

"There you go, I'll help you get all nice and dry." You said, you started taking off your dusty, muddy, fuzzy, and blood stained shirt. While you were struggling to take off the shirt your elbow tapped the statue. The statue immediately crumbled into tiny pieces. You looked at the statue in horror as it turned to dust. You went to your knees and you tried to keep your tears in. You look at the broken statue that was probably once beautiful, the one you had just destroyed. Sans' face popped in your head and you shook it way. You tried to fix the statue, but you only made it worse. You looked at your hands. You reached out to touch the crumbled statue as an apology, when you saw there was a skeleton in the statue. You looked at the statue shocked. You picked up some of the big rocks and moved it off the skeleton. The skeleton had fake golden horns.

The skeleton was female, you could tell because she was wearing a purple flowing dress probably made from silk, she also had these light brown knee boots that were decorated with belt buckles. The skeleton had these circular cuts, the circles around her eyes weren't complete circles. There was a large crack going from the top of the skeleton's left eye to the tip of the cut, the crack was pretty bad. The skeleton may not be able to see out of her left eye. The cuts were clean not intended to kill, but the cut was so deep that the cut would have to have been done by hand. Though the crack in her left eye was bad it probably happened over time, not on purpose. The skeleton was crying, she slowly looked up at you and smiled widely. She mouthed the words thank you and I saw she turn to dust. You look at the dust in sorrow and respect.

You put your shirt back on and started to leave the dust, when there something shined brightly inside the dust. You picked the dust up and sprinkled the dust on the broken statue. In the dust there was this gorgeous dangling sapphire headpiece. You smiled at the statue and put the headpiece on your head. You quickly left and grabbed an umbrella. Monster Kid walked up next to you and smiled.

~Time Skip~

You climbed up Monster Kid's shoulders. And continued down the cave there was a star in the middle of the walk way. You saved and continued to the bridge at the edge of the cave. You heaved yourself out of the mud and onto the rotting bridge. You curled up on the bridge and laid there, you finally relaxed your legs.

A faint blue flickering glow appeared randomly around you. You rolled your body over to see what the light was. You saw dim blue spears shoot up out of the glowing dots on the bridge. You stayed in place too long and more spears shooted out of the ground. A spear shoved itself into your side. You screamed at the spear and tried to pick yourself up off the ground. You tried to dodge all the spears coming towards you. You saw someone in bulky armor under the bridge. They were summoning the spears. The spears must be Undyne's so that means that thing in the armor was Undyne. You started to run faster as the spears speed up. You started to see a hall made a mad dash for it. You when your reached the end you found out too late that the hall was a dead end. You tried to run out of the hall but you were trapped.

You bumped into Undyne, and your body bounced back. You saw spears hurtling towards you, but instead of slamming into you the spears slammed into the bridge and the bridge broke. Reached your hand up and watched in slow motion as you fell. Your head slammed into something and everything went black.
