Lean, Kaila, and Bell were sitting on the carpet. Kaila and Bell crossed their legs, and Lean swiped her tail back and forth. She was getting impatient. Lucky for her, the meeting was coming to a close.

The carpet felt cold. In fact, the room itself was freezing. Though, that was not surprising. Zorac was in the same room with them. He sat on his throne and was chatting about his brilliant plan.

Just being in Zorac's presence gave anybody the chills. Whenever the leader entered a room or hallway, people in the same area would shiver and grovel at his feet. They would please him with offerings or beg for their life.

That should prove how evil and powerful that he can be. So do not get on his bad side.

Shelly had made Zorac a powerful "Non-Fiend." Unfortunately for her, he used her to get everything that he wanted. He tricked her into designing a ship for him. He lied to her about needing more crew members. He already had plenty.

He even promised her that he would carry out her plan.

And he broke that promise.

The leader never liked the Lubriem from the beginning. He used her from the moment that he was created to the point when he was satisfied and did not need her anymore. But if he needed Shelly somewhere down the line, he would use her yet again.

And would not give a crub about her.

"That concludes the meeting," Zorac said. He stared at Bell and Kaila. "Do you know what you must do?"

"Yes, sir," Kaila answered. "I heard you loud and clear."

"I heard you too," Bell responded. "But..." She shook a little. "...could you repeat my part again? I-I just want to make sure. I do not want to mess up."

Zorac sighed heavily. "Fine, but I will not repeat myself after this." He took a deep breath. "You have so much power, and I do not want it to go to waste. So you will help to power the ship. You will go to the charging room. Since I have assigned Kaila to be my right-hand woman, she will show you to the charging room. She knows this ship like the back of her hand."

The star nodded. "And my powers will be used for good and not for evil?"

"Absolutely. Kaila and I are friends. You and Kaila are close friends. You can trust me. We are taking action for the greater good."

"Good. I do not want people to think that I am bad."

"They will not think that," Kaila reassured her. "You are a sweetheart."

Bell giggled softly. "Thanks."

Zorac motioned with a hand. "Begone. Go and get a bite to eat from the cafeteria before you do your duties, you two."

"Yes, Lord Zorac!" the two girls said. They bowed, and then exited out of the room.

The leader stood up from his throne and started heading to the back. He thought that the meeting with the girls were over.

However, he forgot one thing. One girl.

Lean.

Lean got up and floated a few inches above the floor. She frowned.

"Hey!" she called. "You forgot someone!"

He shifted his body to look at her and tsk-tsked. "Do you really think that I would forget you?" he questioned. "How dumb do you think that I am?"

"Hmm. Dumber than me."

He narrowed his eyebrows. "Do not joke with me. You and I know for a fact that I am extremely powerful."

She scoffed. "Not as powerful as me. Remember, I was thought of way before you. I am also smarter and cleverer."

"That may be, Lean, but you must remember that I own a ship. I have many minions who work for me. And what do you have? Nothing."

The ghost could not help but laugh at his expense. She laughed and laughed.

Her laughter bothered the leader. He came up to her and gripped her left wrist.

"Stop laughing," he commanded. "Or you will pay."

She immediately stopped and glared at him. "Me? Pay?" She then broke free from his grasp - and slapped him across the face.

"Ah!" Zorac held his face. His eyes bulged. "You...how dare you!"

"Face the facts. I may look like a weakling. I may be a girl who is a ghost. But we both know that I overrule you. There is nothing that you can do about it." She blew in his face. "And do not think that I do not know what your plan is. You lied to Kaila and Bell. And. I. Will. Tell. Them."
