Time passed for the heroes and villains. It seemed like so many years had gone by, when it really was fifteen minutes.

"Ugh!" Kai groaned. "We have been in this cell for years!"

I, the narrator, let out a heavy sigh.

Kai, I just said that only fifteen minutes went by.

Kai frowned and looked away. "Smart aleck."

I am not being a smart aleck. You have a watch strapped to your wrist.

"What?" He checked his right wrist.

Your left wrist.

He checked his other wrist, and his eyes widened. "My gosh! How did that get there?!"

Well, this book is written by the great Forlot_Forever. In her books and fanfictions, anything can happen.

Bill placed his hands on two of the cold bars and looked up. "Stop breaking the fourth wall, you two," he demanded. "Narrator, just get to the descriptions. What we are all doing in jail."

Why, it would be my pleasure.

The cell was pretty small. With the six of them, three villains and three heroes, inside, it was very crowded. Stine, Stanford, and Shifu had asked if their rivals would like to sit close to them. They had decided to put their differences aside and let their rivals have as much space as they did. Unfortunately for them, Slappy, Bill Cipher, and Kai did not accept the offer and stayed as far away as they could. They wanted nothing to do with their counterparts.

Since Bill could float, it was easy for him to keep his distance. Kai and Slappy, however, were not so lucky. Kai stood at the other end of the cell, his back pressed against the cold wall. Slappy also stood. He stood next to the yak and faced a corner. His head was tilted down, and he kept repeating the word 'Shelly.'

Stine glanced at the puppet, raising an eyebrow, and patted his leg.

"Slappy?" he piped up. "I know that you have been through a lot, but you can sit in my lap."

The puppet's wooden head slowly turned around. It stopped turning when the tip of his chin touched the back of his collar. It was creepy. Might I say, disturbing.

His wooden eyebrows narrowed, and his little body slowly turned until it was lined up with his head.

"Do not be creeped out," Stanford reassured Stine, putting a hand on his shoulder. "Trust me, I have seen weirder things." He glared at the dorito, who was staring out of the cell.

The writer nodded. "He is my creation," he informed the scientist. "I know him better than anyone."

"Pfft!" Slappy took a step forward. "That is a lie! If you knew me well, then you would not have trapped me in my book!"

"I had to! You were going to hurt innocent people."

"Innocent? Ha! The day that they are innocent is the day that I announce that I have been making out with Shelly!"

Everybody was shocked by this. Kai and Bill turned to the puppet.

"Tell me that is not true," the Taker of Chi said. "Tell me that you have not made out with Shelly."

"If you have, then that will be a new low for you," the yellow pyramid added. "After all, love is for the weak."

"Aw. You probably think that because no one loves you!" Slappy spat.

He growled. "Excuse me?"

"You heard me! More people love me than you! I have been around way longer than you!"

Bill clenched his hands into tight fists. "Bring it on, dummy! Bring it on!"

The puppet rolled up his sleeves. "With pleasure!"

"Guys!" Shifu exclaimed angrily. "Inner peace!"

"Everyone! Shut up!"

At the sound of the unfamiliar voice, the heroes and villains immediately shut their mouths and glanced to where the voice came from.

Two guards stood on the other side of the jail cell. In the opening. They were the same guards who, along with some other guards, put the villains in jail. They glared at their prisoners, smiling with glee.

"Hello again, you unfortunate characters!" one of the guards greeted in a low tone.

The yellow triangle rolled his eye. "What do you want?" he questioned.

"We have good news," the other guard said.

"And bad news," the first guard informed.

"The good news is that you will be free from your cell. You villains will be released first. The heroes will be released very soon."

"So...what is the bad news?" Kai asked.

The second guard chuckled. "Each of you will be relocated to other parts of the ship." He pulled out a folded piece of paper from his pocket. He unfolded it and read. "'Shifu and Kai will head to the coal room. Stine and Bill will go to the charging room. And both Stanford and Slappy will be taken to the medical room.'"

Slappy had a confused look on his face. "Medical room?" he repeated. "Why do I need to go to the medical room? I am not a doctor. I am a scary puppet!"

"I beg to differ about you being scary," the first guard said. "And you will know why shortly."

The second guard unlocked and opened the cell door. "Come on. Villains first. We will drop you off at your designations." He and the first guard pointed their space guns at the villains.

Having no other choice, Slappy, Bill Cipher, and Kai stepped out of the jail cell and followed the guards.
