Mark and I left the village.I looked at the map again before stepping into the forest.If we continue on our path we'll land at the city of darkness.I remembered the stories of men,children,and animals being lost their only to found be dead near the Tree of Eternity.Let's not go to Lidas.Maybe we could go to Leginites since Ken and Kyte were heading there.I led Mark as we headed toward the kingdom.Maybe we could buy a horse on the way to the kingdom.Possibly food too since we have a long way ahead of us.I decided to mutter a spell for water.I thought of the lines for Water of Tasia.
"Gods above and down below.Let the River of Freshwater flow.To hot passengers who have nowhere to go.Let the Goddess Tasia glow," I recited the lines with some difficulty since I wasn't a master of water spells completely.
Water appeared in the form of a ball in front of me.I opened my water pouch and the water ball dropped into it until every drop was in.I closed the pouch and smiled.
"Fire sword man where are we going?" Mark asked.
"To the Kingdom of Leginites kid," I answered.
I can't wait to meet my other two companions.I wonder if Miyu and Trinity will find us there.Maybe they'll go to Liadode or Acelesite.Mark and I walked down the path to Leginites and hopefully another village like Asteria.

Kyte's POV
Ken and I walked into another village.Thank the Gods we weren't still in the frozen forest.I looked at a nearby sign to see the village name.We were in Macestice,the village of Crysteria,Goddess of ice and Kyzon,God of fire and weapons.Martel would love this place since Kyzon was his patron God.Ken pointed his device at villagers but it didn't show that anyone was a Lost Soul.I wondered if he remembered that the Lost Souls were children.I pulled out my sword and a few villagers gasped.
"Calm down please.I will not harm anyone.I am only finding someone with my sword of light," I said trying to calm the villagers.
The villagers let out a sigh of relief and continued doing whatever they were doing.I pointed my sword at a child and it didn't glow.Ken pointed his device at a woman and smiled.
"She's the Lost Soul!" he said confidently.
I sighed."Excuse me mam."I stepped behind the woman."I think she's the Lost Soul."
I pointed to a little girl with golden hair and green eyes.Ken smiled.
"I knew that was a Lost Soul," he said.
Yeah right."What is your name?"
"My name is Marion," the girl answered.
"I am Kyte and that is my partner Ken.We are the finders of Lost Souls," I replied.
Ken tapped me on the shoulder."We might need to go."
He pointed toward a group of dragon riders.If only Martel was here.One of the dragon riders spotted us and flew his dragon over to us.
"What are your names?" he asked.
"Liam,Kyle,and Margaret," I answered.
"They aren't the ones we're looking for," the dragon rider informed his group.
Another dragon rider led the rest of his group over to us.I put away my sword so they wouldn't think I was a threat.If they were looking for me they'd have to stop being so dumb.
"Are you sure they aren't the ones we're looking for?" a female rider asked.
No was the response.She looked into my eyes and I did the same.
"Tell the truth and nothing but the truth.I control you and all you can do is tell the truth," she chanted.
She waited for me to speak but my sword was protecting me from her magic.
"We are Ken Lyseria and Kyte Asteria," Ken said."We are the finders of the Lost Souls.This child is one of the Lost Souls."
No!I grabbed Marion and ran.Ken regained his senses and ran as well.The dragon riders ordered their dragons to shoot balls of fire at us.I pulled out my spell book and watched as it flipped to the page labeled Kyun's protection.
"God of light show your might.Shield the unprotected with your light," I chanted.
Kyun,God of light,appeared in front of us.His yellow hair and golden robes flowed with golden light.He opened his yellow eyes and held his scepter.The dragon riders stopped and stared at him.Kyun lifted his scepter in the air and smashed it against the ground.A shield made of light separated us from the dragon riders and Kyun disappeared.Marion looked at me in amazement.
"How did you do that?" she asked.
"Magic," I answered.
Ken looked at me."I'm sorry."
"You don't need to apologize Ken.The dragon rider is the reason this happened," I said.
Ken looked doubtful.He pulled out his dark sword and stabbed it into the ground."Horus's darkness."
Darkness creeped from his sword toward the shield.It touched the shield and turned it as black as night.Ken can be brilliant when he wants to.We continued our path to Leginites.

Trinity's POV
Miyu and I rode our horses toward Leginites.I decided we should just go to where Ken and Kyle were headed before they left.Miyu rode in front of me as we approached the gate.A guard with a golden spear approached us.
"State your names please," he commanded kindly.
"I am Trinity Watkins and this is Miyu Nashimoto," I stated.
"Good evening finders of the Lost Souls," he said.
The gate opened and we rode inside.Now to find Ken and Kyte.
"Kyte said that he would speak to the King about the Dark Lord's awakening," Miyu said.
"To the castle we go," I replied.
We rode toward the Castle of Leginites and tied our horses on a nearby post.

Martel's POV
Mark and I arrived at Leginites.A guard approached us.
"State your names please," he commanded kindly.
"I am Martel Fireling and this is Mark Ford," I replied.
"Good evening finder of the Lost Souls.Your allies Ken Lyseria,Kyte Asteria,Miyu Nashimoto,and Trinity Watkins are inside along with a Lost Soul," the guard said.
I nodded and I rode our horse into the Kingdom of Leginites.I tied our horse to a nearby post with two other horses.Probably Trinity and Miyu's.I walked into the castle and led Mark toward the throne room.The guards in front of the doors spotted my dragon symbol and opened the doors.I grabbed Mark's hand and walked into the throne room.
"Took you long enough," Ken said from nearby.
I smiled."I had trouble along the way."
"We did too," Kyte replied.
"Yeah and you left us with the orcs!" Trinity shouted.
"It wasn't my fault the warlock cast a fireball spell that also opened a portal."
I walked over to my friends and spotted the Lost Soul.
"Hello.My name is Marion," she greeted.
"I am Martel Fireling," I replied.
"Me called Mark Ford," Mark said.
Kyte looked at his sword as it glowed.He pulled it out and pointed it at Mark.The sword glowed brighter.
"He's a Lost Soul?" Kyte asked.
"I didn't know that," I responded truthfully.
Mark looked confused."What's Lost Soul?"
"Someone with a unique ability," Trinity answered.
"There are seven in total.We must find the other five," Miyu said.
The King stepped down from his throne and walked over to us."We must search for the other Lost Souls.I will send troops with you toward the city of knights.We must form an alliance with them."
"Yes Your Highness," Kyte said.
I nodded my agreement.The others nodded.The King whistled to one of his guards and they walked away.The guard came back with supplies for the journey.
"These are for you," the king said.
"How much do we owe you sir?" Ken asked.
The King smiled."No charge needed.Think of it as a gift for warning me of the Dark Lord's awakening."
I smiled.We stepped outside with the supplies and spotted the troops who were accompanying us.They stood by the horses.
"We will load the supplies into the carriage," the troop leader said."My name is Eric."
Eric and his men took the supplies and loaded them into a carriage.Another carriage held the troops.The two Lost Souls jumped into the carriage and smiled.Kyte threw me my spell book.
"You forgot it when we left," he stated.
"Thank you," I replied.
Kevin took out a device and hopped into a carriage.Miyu and Trinity mounted their horses.
"I'm going to buy a horse and then we can go to Liadode," Kyte said.
I nodded and mounted my horse.The troops all mounted horses or stepped into the carriage.To Liadode we go.
