2 weeks later, Dawn's POV

I got up and went to my closet. The new school doesn't have uniforms, I grabbed my mom's wedding ring, I went downstairs and saw my sister Amelia cooking.

: morning sis, where is dad?"

Amelia: morning, he had to go to work"

A spirit handed me a cup of tea. I smiled and sat down at the mini-bar. Amelia placed a plate in front of me, I looked at the plate and saw an omelet, I smiled, the spirit gently touched my hair.

Amelia: Ocean wants to know if she can braid your hair"

Ocean is that her name? I felt my hair being braided after eating, at school me and Amelia were walking with the headmaster. Amelia has a gold pin on her shirt, letting the teachers know her powers are summoning, I don't have a pen since I don't know my power.

The headmaster: since you two are two days behind anyone else, we will excuse any paper that is graded"

Amelia: excuse me headmaster"

The headmaster: yes Miss Amelia"

Amelia: Are there any after school clubs?"

The headmaster: yes, there is, do you want to join one?"

I bumped into someone, I was about to the ground when I felt an arm around my waist.

Slayer: you need to be more careful"

: Slay... OMG I'm so sorry"

Slayer: it's okay"

The headmaster: I see you already met Slayer aka the Dragon"

Slayer: master really"

I looked at Slayer and felt my face started to heat up. Slayer helped me to my feet.

Amelia: hi there I'm Amelia, Dawn's twin sister"

Slayer: hi, I'm Slayer, but you can call me Slay"

Amelia: it's nice to meet you"

Slayer: same here"

Karma: hey Dawn"

: Karma"

Slayer: hey Edgy"

Karma: Slayer"

At lunch

I was sketching in my new sketchbook, I felt someone grab my arm.

??: hello pretty"

: leave me alone"

The boy pulled me out of the seat and close to him, I closed my eyes.

Slayer's POV

I heard a high pitch scream. It sounded like a phoenix. I looked over to Dawn and saw that Jack had her. I ran over to her and punched Jax in the gut. I gently pulled Dawn into a hug, Karma and Shad ran over to me.

: Karma, Shad take care of Jax, I will make sure Dawn is ok"

Me and Dawn went to the garden area of the cafeteria. I looked at Dawn and saw she was crying. I gently rubbed her back.

: shh, it's okay"

Dawn: Slay?"

: yes?"

Dawn: how did you?"

: my powers, Jax is weak against me and the others"

I sat down on the grass, Dawn was still near my chest. Dawn looked at me and smiled a little. I smiled and gently wrapped the tears off her cheek. Karma and Shad walked over to us. Karma sat down next to me (right) Shad (left)

Karma: how are you feeling Dawn?"

Dawn: better thank you"

Shad: here"

Shad handed Dawn her sketchbook, Dawn smiled and hugged Shad. Shad hugged Dawn back. Me and Karma joined in the hug. Dawn smiled. At magic class me, Dawn, Shad, and Karma were sitting next to each other.

Miss Snow: Slayer, Shad please come down and show us your powers"

Shad: Slay, if I lose control to use this* Shad handed me a needle with something inside it* that will knock me out cold"

: Shad, I can't"

Shad: I don't want to kill you, please do it for me"

I placed the needle in my pocket and went to the battlefield. Shad was looking at me and smiled.

Miss Snowy: ready and fight!"

Shad shifted into his beast form, I was ready from an attack, Shad was right he was losing control, Dawn stood up and ran in the middle of the battlefield.

Dawn: guys please stop!"

Shad was about to attack Dawn when I used Dragon rush to force him away from her. Karma ran over to Dawn and pulled her to the sidelines, Shad pinned me to the ground. I grabbed the needle and stabbed it in his left front leg. Sorry, Shad, I had to. Shad fell to the ground and was forced out of his beast form. Dawn ran over to me and helped me off the ground. I hugged Dawn

: never do that again"

Dawn: I'm sorry, I don't like seeing my friends get hurt"

: it's okay, Shad knew he would lose control and had a plan in place"

Karma walked over to Shad. Miss Snow walked over to me and Dawn.

Miss Snow: Dawn you should've got in the middle of that fight. You could have gotten hurt"

Dawn: I'm sorry but I could not let my friends ge"

Miss Snow: Dawn I will see you after school in my office"

After school

I was waiting on Dawn to make sure she is okay. Dawn walked out of the school.

: is everything okay?"

Dawn: yes..."

Dawn started to cry. I gently pulled Dawn into a hug. I was a few inches taller than Dawn, I gently rubbed her back.

: do you want to talk about it?"

Dawn: can we go somewhere else to talk?"

: sure, is there any place you want to go?"

Dawn: anywhere but here"

I took her to my car and we went to the beach. Dawn looked at my key chain. I turned the car off and took the key.

: is there something you see?"

Dawn: the dragon"

: it is a sign of my powers. Dragon force, back at school when I attacked Shad I used Dragon rush to make sure no one got hurt"

Dawn: at least you know your powers"

: Dawn I been meaning to ask you about that"

Dawn: two days ago me and my mom were heading to my uncle's house, when me and her got into a car accident... My mom used her powers on me, that's the last thing I reme"

She started crying. I pulled her into a hug. Dawn was crying in my chest. 20 minutes later we were looking at the sunset. Shad, you better be safe.

: what do you think of Emberton?"

Dawn: I like it here"

: I'm glad you like it here"

Dawn: me too"

My phone went off. I opened the message and saw it was from Shad,

Shad- S. Slayer- S

" Hey, Slayer I made my parent's place, they said I have to miss 5 months of school. If anything happens please tell me"

" I will my friend, please let me know if you made any process with your beast powers"

Dawn: I have not seen Shad since the accident in class"

: he went to his parent's place to train his beast form"

Dawn yawned and gently placed her head on my shoulder.

I helped her into my car. The next day me and Karma were talking when Dawn and Amelia walked in the school.

Karma: you should ask Dawn to come to the movies with me, you and Arno"

: sure* I walked over to Dawn* hey Dawn, can I ask you something?"

Dawn: sure"

: me, Karma and Arno are going to the movies after school, wanna join us?"

Dawn: sure"

After school

Karma: ok there is five movies we can pick from"

Dawn: can we please not watch a horror film"

Karma: I'm going to watch Ruin Killer, Arno want to join me?"

Arno nodded yes.

Dawn's POV

Slayer: what movie do you want to see?"

I looked at the banners and saw " The Mystery of the Sea Ruins"

Slayer: ok *We went to the ticket seller. I was about to grabbed my bag when Slayer touched my hand* no, let me"

I smiled and let Slayer pay for the tickets. After the movie me, Arno, Karma, and Slayer were shopping. I was looking at the Seven Deadly Sins stuff. I picked up the shirt that showed all the sins mark on it. I hugged it.

Karma: Seven Deadly Sin lover"

My face turned red.
