Slayer's POV 1 month later

I was packing my stuff from the trip I'm going on. I'm going to be gone for 2 months. Karma has his own trip to go on to see Shad. It's been a long time since Shad has been away from School and Emberton. It was 5 am in the morning on a Saturday. Karma was still asleep. I had asked Dawn to join me on this trip. I was picking her up at 5;20. I looked at my clock 5;10 am. 10 more minutes, I closed my bag and went to my car. I drove to Dawn's house and saw Dawn was waiting for me. Dawn walked over to my car.

: morning Dawn"

Dawn: morning Slayer"

Dawn placed her suitcase in the backseat. Her suitcase was light blue with a black sun. she got in the seat next to me. We went to the school and saw everyone else was waiting for the bus to show up. I parked the car and got out of the car. Dawn got out and grabbed her suitcase.

Envy: Slayer*I ignored Envy, I grabbed my suitcase. Envy made me look at her* Do you want to sit with me?"

: can't Envy, I'm already sitting with someone"

Envy: who?!"

I walked over to Dawn and smiled. Dawn smiled back and we went to the bus, everyone got on the bus and sat

The teacher: listen up everyone, we will be arriving in Florida... 16 hours 24 minutes. So here is what we can do. I can play some movies or you can rest"

Logan: excuse me teacher, but can't you play a movie while we rest?"

The teacher: of course I can"

The teacher put a movie one the mini TVs, Dawn was shaking. I gently touched her arm.

: how are you okay?"

Dawn: c-cold"

I stood up and grabbed the blanket I brought and handed it to Dawn. Dawn smiled.

: do you want to switch places?"

Dawn: please *Me and Dawn switched seats* can I lay against you?"

: of course"

Dawn gently laid her head on my shoulder. I gently moved her a little so she was laying on my chest. Dawn's face turned deep red. I smiled and looked at the mini Tv. How to Train Your Dragon 2. Dawn was watching it too. 1 hour and 45 minutes later Dawn was resting on my chest. I heard a growl coming from Envy.

: excuse me Mr. Rage?"

Mr. Rage: yes Mr. Slayer?"

: is there any punishment for growling?"

Mr. Rage: yes, why?"

: I hear growling"

15 hours later Dawn's POV

I woke up and saw Slayer was sleeping.

Mr. Rage: everyone wake up, we are here"

I gently shook Slayer.

Slayer: yes?"

: we are here"

We grabbed our things and got off the bus. Slayer smiled and stayed near me. We walked into the grand hotel.

Mr. Rage: listen up. I have made a pair for each room. When you get your key please come to me"

I walked over to the desk and grabbed the key with my name on it.

 I walked over to Mr. Rage.

Mr. Rage: Slayer please come here"

Slayer walked over to me and Mr. Rage. we went to our room. It had two beds. I walked over to the window and saw the beach and the night sky.

Slayer: tomorrow we are going to the water park or Disneyland. What do you want to do?"

: I'm ok with what you pick"

Slayer walked over to me and gently hugged me from behind.

Slayer: you okay?"

: a little homesick"

Slayer: it's okay, I'm here if you want to talk"

: thank you"

Slayer: you're welcome"

I smiled a little and felt Slayer's chest against my back. I touched his hand and smiled. Why do I like being near Slayer? I looked at the clock 11;23 pm. Wow, it's super late.

: we better get some sleep"

Slayer: yea, I'm going to change in the bathroom"

I walked over to my bag and saw Slayer walk to the bathroom. I changed into my nightclothes. " Girls do it better" was on it, I grabbed my book and laid on the second bed. Slayer came out of the bathroom wearing black shorts and a redshirt. He laid on the first bed. The next morning I woke up to the smell of pancakes. I looked over to the kitchen and saw Slayer cooking pancakes and humming a song. I got up and saw my book in the nightstand, I got up and walked over to the kitchen.

Slayer: good morning Dawn"

: morning Slayer"

Slayer: it's only 7:00 am, we don't have to meet with the class until 8; 30"

: about half an hour"

Slayer: yep"

Slayer went to the bathroom. I started eating. Wow, he is a really good cook. Slayer come back dressed. He was wearing a black shirt with a red jacket. Black shorts and dark blue shoes. I smiled.

Slayer: how was it?"

: it was really good"

Slayer: thanks"

: you're welcome"

I went to the bathroom and changed into a black dress, flip flops, I walked out of the bathroom and saw Envy talking to Slayer. My heart sank a little.

Slayer: Envy I told you I'm going to hanging out with a friend today. She is a lot nicer than you are, she may not be a dragon-like us but she is my friend"

Envy: I'm the blood dragon and what powers does this friend have?"

Slayer: light but to be more correct the light of the Phoenix"

Envy didn't answer him. She left and Slayer closed the door. He turned around and smiled.

: is this too much?"

Slayer: no it's perfect and just in time. Mr. Rage wants everyone in the main area"

I grabbed my bag and went to the main area.

Mr. Rage: ok students listen up. There are enough kids to slip up into two groups, I have asked an old friend of mine to help us on the field trip. Everyone, please meet Mr.Beast* a guy walked over to us, he kinda looks like Shad a little* Mr. Beast will be taking a group to Disneyland, I'm taking a group of kids to the beach, please come one of us to go to the place"

Slayer: which one are you going to go to?"

: I want to go see Disneyland, what about you?"

Slayer: same"

We walked over to Mr. Beast. A few other kids joined us. There were about seven kids and one leader. Mr. Rage had ten kids in his group, I saw Envy in the other group. Good, I dislike her, we went to Disneyland. I wanted to see my favorite Disney stars. Slayer smiled and gently took my hand in his. I felt my heart race.

Mr. Beast: Okay, listen up. I will let you go in pairs but you must meet me at the teacup ride at noon, I will give each group a radio"

Slayer walked over to Mr, Beast, I noticed there was a girl who was shaking a little, I walked over to her and gently hugged her. She hugged me back.

: hi, I'm Dawn and you are?"

Aria: ...Aria"

Carter: Sorry, Aria is a little scared about being away from her home for two months* Carter gently wrapped his arms around Aria* I'm Carter, you must Dawn the one Slayer bought"

: I'm, it's nice to meet you both"

Slayer: Carter, why don't you and Aria join me and Dawn"

Carter: if it's okay with Dawn and my girlfriend"

Aria: it's okay with me"

: same"

I grabbed my childhood Disney book and looked at the first person I wanted to see. Mickey mouse was the first one. Wow, I forget I liked him when I was little, Amelia never got into Disney as I did. We were walking around when I saw a gift shop. My father was super nice and gave me my own M.C Card, we walked in the gift shop. Slayer was looking at the mini-poster, me and Aria were looking at the necklace. Carter was in the charging room.

: Aria, can I ask you something?"

Aria: sure"

: how long have you and Carter been together?"

Aria: about 3 years, in two days is our 3 year anniversary, I want to get him something but he is hard to pick for"

: wow, if it's okay with you I would like to help you pick something out for him"

Aria: thank you so much"

Me and Aria got a few necklaces and a poster. Carter got a few shirts and a new bag. Slayer got a red and black bag. It had a 101 dalmatians bag. We went on a few rides. Slayer and Carter were playing a few games.

: Aria, want to get something to drink?"

Aria: sure"

We went to a cafe and ordered two teas. Carter and Slayer soon joined it. It was only 10;32, we had to be at the teacup ride at 12;00.

Carter: So Dawn, how do you know Slayer?"

: I met him at a band show.... for a friend of mine, Shad, ever since then me and Slayer have been friends, * blushes a little* Slayer was the one who helped me find out what powers I have"

Aria: That's the same way with me and Carter"

Carter: babe, can I tell the story of how we got together?"

Aria: sure"

Carter: about 3 years ago, Aria's mom and dad* hugs Aria tightly* got into an accident * I heard Aria starts crying* After the funeral Aria had to make a choice to leave Emberton and leave with her aunt in Spain but when I told her she could stay with me and my family, she moved in the next day. My little sister Isabella was a little scared of Aria's powers but she soon likes them"

Slayer: Aria is not the only one who lost a parent in an accident "

Carter: what do you mean Slayer?"

: I lost my mom in an accident"

Aria hugged me. I hugged Aria back. We spent the rest of the time talking. Aria handed me a charm bracelet with best friend on it. I smiled, Slayer's radio went off.

Mr. Beast: everyone please meet me at the teacup ride in 10 minutes and make sure you are with everyone"

Slayer: the teacup ride is near the entrance. We are not too far from the entrance. Dawn, is there any character you want to see before we leave?"

I looked at my book and saw my mom's favorite character is the next one. I felt tears form in my eyes. Slayer noticed and hugged me. I started to cry.

Slayer's POV

I gently rubbed Dawn's back.

Carter: Is everything okay?"

:* I looked at Dawn's Disney book and saw her mom's favorite character* the next character is Dawn's mom favorite, Aria, Carter can you do Dawn a favor and see if you can find this character, please"

Carter: we will"

I handed the book to Carter, they left the cafe, I looked at Dawn, I could tell she is in pain, I gently rubbed her back. Carter and Aria came back.

Aria: we found the character, she gave us these"

Aria handed me a necklace with a rose on it. Bell?

We went to the teacup ride. Mr. Beast ran over to me and Dawn.

Mr.Beast: what happened?"

: Dawn thought of her mother when we were meeting the characters, I asked Carter and Aria to get the last character for her. She was in a lot of pain, she won't speak"

Mr. Beast's POV

Me and Dawn walked away from the group.

: Miss. Dawn, it's okay remembering this is hard, sometimes the past hurts we can either learn from it or run away from it"

Dawn: lion king"

: yep, Slayer, Carter, and Aria are good kids. They want to help you"
