Two

It had taken lots of discussion and the threat of a pursuers to get the strangers to escape  the apartment where they had woken up. They walked along hoping to find some more information about where they are- and when.

When they had made it to a main road and discussions began about which way to go as passerby's watched them with confused glances.

Eventually they had picked a way to go and walked along bickering with one another as the other people milling around crossed to the other side. If any of the group had noticed they didn't mention.

Nor did any mention the feeling of being watched. Perhaps it was just a way of resisting the urge to look back and confirm they weren't being followed, as they wouldn't know what to do if they were.
