The screeching noises rattled the group down to their bones, even if they were only souls.

Their founding feet were lost under the noises as they sprinted back the direction they had come. Though the sound of of the screeching only increased in volume and seemed to grow closer as they went.

As they ran Callen kept turning his head as if he could see whatever those inhuman creatures were closing in. Callen stopped suddenly in the dark causing others to run into him but he didn't seem to notice. Rather Callen thurst both his palms up and shouted something which didn't seem to be a word. Either way at his call light blue flickers of light appeared around them.

"This won't hold long," Callen informed them. "So you need to keep moving, the path splits and then you head right. If you keep going that way, you should reach the exit soon enough."

"You can see?" Michela asked him turning on her phone's flashlight at the same time Cameron shouted,

"You knew the way out the whole time?"

"It is more than complicated," Callen said hurriedly. "I didn't know where we were for a fact, but now it has become scarily clear. So keep running, I have an idea to lead the Jiantyin off. When you make it to safety tell them you were with Zalenic, that is my real name. Again it's, Zal-lee-nay-ick. They will assume you are lying if you can't pronounce it. Then you will need answer the questions, they shouldn't be anything hard. No go."

"What are the answers?" Silvana asked him, but Callen shook his head.

"I don't even know the questions," He turned his head toward where they had come before he looked back at them looking frightened. "Go!"

The group continued on as Callen hurried back toward the danger, and somehow they were able to hear his words over the sound of the screeching, their feet, their breathing, and their hearts,

"Most importantly, never be afraid to save yourself."
