Virgil's P.O.V

"W-w-what do you mean Virgil?" Jack said.

"Oh! You'll see!" I smirked.

"But Virgil..." I stood infront of him and a purple light surrounded us "Virgil, I was your friend!"

"Exactly!....You were but now you are NOT my friend!"

"I would be! I could be! But..." he pointed at the other Sides "They! They couldn't accept me! They hated me! Just like they hated you...well...until I came! But when I left, YOU was the antagonist again!"

"Stop! He is not the antagonist. Not any more. You are the antagonist!" Roman yelled

"Yes Roman! Call me names!" Jack was shaking

"Fine I will!" Roman said

"Whatever...do it Virgil! Kill me! There's no way out, anyways..." Tears streamed down his face. A light-green light surrounded him and his eyes became normal. Still black but at least normal.

"What happened?" Patton asked

"I-I have no idea" Logan said "Where did the word fear gone?"

"Virgil?" Roman asked.

"Jack?" I said.

"Virgil...Virgil I'm sorry! I didn't want to! I lost control! Thomas should never see that movie...It wasn't for his age! I'm sorry!....the shadows...I..." he was sobbing. I walked towards him.

"Jack calm down...and...explain.."

"I...wait..why are you so tall?"

"Huh?"

"Why am I so tall?"

"Uh.."

"Why is EVERYONE so tall? Where are we?"

"Uh...Logan?" Roman asked. Patton stood next to me and I kept starring at Jack. Logam didn't answer, he just said

"Fear...I mean...Jack...what is your last memory?"

"I...I was at Virgil's room because I did something stupid and Thomas was veru scared of something...and then Virgil came in....and...and I felt like I couldn't control myself..I can't remember what I said to him...sorry...and then you came in...and...and...after that...sorry O can't rember...and then I woke up here."

"That happened years ago!" Patton said

"Shh...' Logan interrupted him "What was the last thing you felt?"

"Anger...and..fear...I was terrified...I didn't want to die."

"I see.."

"Wait! I rembered something!"

"What?"

"When you came in..I heard a voice in my head saying ' Time to take over...' and then I passed out...Does that help?"

"The Mask!" everyone said except me and Jack.

"The...what?" I asked

"The Mask..." Logan said "We all have one. When things are getting out of control this...thing..takes over us and it makes us overdo it with our abilities...actually It uses our body to do that and We are unconsious all that time..."

"What?" I was confused

"Example; If the Mask would take over me, this would make Thomas very logical and also it would make him search for a logical explanation to everything until he would lose his mind. If the Mask would take over Roman, it would make Thomas too brave and it would put him in trouble. As for Patton, it would make Thomas too reckless...and as for you Virgil...well...probably many panic attacks that may lead to depression amd I don't know what else. As for Jack...well... We ars living this version right now!"

"This Mask was on me for so many years? And what did I do?"
"Well...look around..." the room was a black mess...where you couldn't see anything. We were bruised and, at least I, was bleeding.

"I'm a monster..." Jack said and new tears appeared at his eyes

"No you aren't kiddo!" Patton huged him "This Mask was!"

"But did it go away?"

"I destroyed it!" I said "When the purple light appeared"

"True!" Logan said

"But he did it just for a while!" Roman said

"According to my calculations it was enough to destroy the Mask without killing Jack."

"And now what?" I asked. Suddenly I felt dizzy. Everything was turned black..and..I passed out.....

3rd person P.O.V.

All the Sides passed out. When they woke up there were in a room...in a very familiar room...

"My room!" Virgil said

"What happened?" Patton's voice said

"Are we back?" Logan's voice said

"Virge?" Roman's voice said

"Wow..this place is still the same." Jack's voice said

Logan stood up and walked towards the door. He opened it and laughed

"Why are you laughing?" Roman asked while he was trying to stand on his feet

"We are back! We are in the front of the brain! Anxiety's room is back at it's place

"Yayyy!!!!" Patton said and he huged each one of them.

"Now what are we going to do with...him?" Roman asked and he pointed at Jack.

"Nothing..." Logan said

"What?" Virgil asked

"He don't deserve it! He was under control."

"I agree!" Patton said

"But what if it happens again?"

"We will prevent it from happening!" Logan said

"How?" Virgil asked

"By being good and kind.." Patton said

"Yes..." Roman nodded

"Well..okay.." Virgil said

"Really? Thank you so much!" Jack cried

"It's fine..."

"Let's go to see how Thomas is doing.." Patton suggested

"Okay...come on Jack..." Logan said and he walked with Patton and Jack out of the room. Roman and Virgil followed them.

*in the real world*

"...and basicaly this is what happened.." Roman said.

"So...Jack isn't evil?" Thomas asked

"Yes...let's hope!" Logan said and he smiled.

"Anyways..the video didn't go like I wanted it to but..I was thinking about a video with Harry Potter theme! What do you think?"

"Awsome...but...later...I think we are all really tired from this adventure!" Virgil said

"Yes!"

"Absolutely!"

"Can't lie about that!"

"Okay.." Thomas smiled

"Time to go."

"Yes...let's go Jack, Patton." Logan, Patton, Roman, Virgil and Jack sank at the mindscape

*in the mindscape*

"I'm exhausted!" Logan said and he went at his room

"Me too!" Patton said and he also went at his room.

"So.." Virgil said "Let me show yours Jack..." the started walking at the hallway. After a while they were standing infront of a green door. Virgil opened it and they went in. There was a normal room with a bed and a small desk.

"Here you go.."

"Thanks..uh..Virgil?"

"Yes?"

"Do you think that I would actually fit in? I mean you are such an amazing family...."

"Don't worry about that...now get some rest" he said and he walked out of the room. Then he started walking towards his room

"Virge! Can I talk to you?" Roman grabbed Virgil's arm

"Yes.."

"Virge I'm so sorry for whatever I have tell to you! I was being bad to you and.."

"Don't worry..as you said it...we are a family and brothers fight some times but they still love each other!" Virgil said and Roman smiled to him. They both opened the doors of their rooms. While each one was going in his room Virgil yelled...

"Goodnight Mister Sing-a-lot !" Roman laughed and yelled back...

"Sweet dreams Mister 'Panic! At the everywhere' !"
