Patton's P.O.V

I sank down at the mindscape where I found the other Sides and Jack. The room (that we called commons) was darker that usually and I felt like I was being watched. With quick steps I stood next to Roman and Logan.

"You tried to kill Thomas?" I said angrily

"Nah uh!" he said with a smirk "I was just scaring him!"

"Why?" I said without thinking it twice

"Because this is my job! Stupid!" he said and then he turned to Virge "So Virgil are you ready?"

"I...suppose..." he answered hardly.

"He would never do something to hurt Thomas!" Logan stated

"Really? Do you idiots believe that Virgil and I are so different?"

"He is not evil!" Roman said quickly.

"Well I'm not evil! Or at least I wasn't until you turned him against me!"

"We didn't!"

"Really?" he said sarcasticaly "Let's remember something that happened some years ago.."

*flashback*

3rd person P.O.V

It was that night. The night that Thomas didn't want to go to sleep

"Kiddo, please sleep it's midnight!" Morality yawned

"Witches' hour!" Anxiety whispered and Creativity hit his shoulder.

"No way! There is something in the closet!"

"No and you know there's not!" Logic said. He was very young but very smart.

"Don't talk! They're waiting so they can kill you!"

"But they are not real!"

"They are!"

"Even if they are...I would fight them for you!" Creativity said
As for Anxiety, he walked towards Thomas's desk and grabbed a pen. Then he wrote on his thin wrist 'Fear+Anxiety=real friends'

"But since Anxiety doesn't do that, then who?" Morality asked

"Well maybe Mr darkness didn't do his job again! Control the shadows!"

"No, no. This is fear not anxiety.
I think this is the new one's problem." Logic stated. Anxiety didn't heard them, or did he?

"I should go...uhh..good...goodnight." Anxiety said and he sank down.

"Wait!" Logic said and sank down, too. Then Morality and Creativity did the same and they left Thomas alone.

*in the mindscape*

"Anxiety wait!"

"Wh..what?"

"Listen..." Logic fixed his glasses "I believe that your...uhh...friend is the one thay causes fear to Thomas."

"He would never.."

"Don't support him!" Creativity hissed and Anxiety stepped back

"Look I.."

"Anxiety you have two options." Logic continued "One; control him and make him fade away.".

"No way!"

"Two; we will lock him in a prison-box at the back of Thomas's mind, so Thomas won't be able to hear him."

"Wait what?"

"There is nothing else we can do!" Morality said

"But..."

"Anxiety listen to me.." Logic placed his hand on Anxiety's shoulder "If we don't do it he will drive Thomas crazy."

"And remember..." Morality said "He not a real persona like you...he is just a part of you."

"You are...you are right...I'll do it." Anxiety said and he slowly walked away. He went in the bathroom and he washed away what he had wrote on his wrist.
Then he went in his room where he found Fear....

*end of flashback*

Patton's P.O.V

"As for what happened next...you already know it! Virge come on!"

"What will you do?"

"Virge" he smirked "Destroy them! Like you tried to destroy me!"  Virgil walked towards us and the world on his hand started glowing with green color, but then it stopped.

"But...I...I can't do that to them!"

"I said...DO IT!" Jack yelled and the world 'nightmare' started glowing again. He wasn't just stopping him from running away, he was controlling his moves!

"Kiddos I think I know how to stop him!"

"How?"

"Say something good for Virgil!"

"You know Patton, this os literally how this whole thing started!" Logan said and his voice craked at the end.

"Just do it! I believe that Jack is basicaly controlling Virgil by using his anger and sadness!

"Okay then...well..." Logan started "Anxiety I'm sorry for being so annoying at the past! As you know I'm not good at feelings and...well...sorry. You are the second smartest persona of us and...and...you are very-very usefull to Thomas! Without you he was really annoying, remember?"

"Don't listen to him!" Jack said and Virgil stepped closer. I felt like something was slowly killing me.

"Patton?" Logan said, I think he felt the same thing with me.

"Virgil! I love you kiddo! You are important to each one of us! Please, we need you! Thomas needs you!" I cried

"He is lying!" Jack said again.

"Virge..." Roman said "I'm sorry for being so bad with you at the past. I was letting my ego hurt you and I'm so sorry.. Please forgive me Virgil" tears started steaming down his face "If anything happen to you I would never forgive myself so, please, stop it! Come back to us!" he sobbed "We need you Virge...I need you!" Roman's voice cracked and he sobbed.

"I need you Virge, I can't live without you!" Jack said sarcasticaly "How pathetic! Virgil come on end this drama." Jack said but Virgil rubbed his eyes. The world 'nightmare' had disappeared from his hand. He turned to Jack

"No! You are the one who needs to go!" he hissed

"Yeah! You are back!" I said with joy

"Wow, Patton I'm impressed!"

"Thanks Logan!"

"Not so fast!" Jack said "I went so far! I won't just give up!" He did a quick movement with his hand, then some shadows surounded Virgil and put him into a prison box that started filling with water.

"I know I said thay I won't hurt you..but I can't let you get into my way!" Jack said and he laughed.
