so my friend asked me if i wanted to go to a place with her and two other friends. I told her I would ask my mom as she mentioned that she'd be driving. I know she hasn't had her license for long, and while I would trust her to drive me anywhere, my brain immediately got worried about a crash because of course it did. I was also pretty sure there was a certain number of months you couldn't drive passengers other than like immediate family for. Quick research and it's like 6 months. She got her license at most a month ago. So I ended up saying that I actually didn't want to go. My friends get me and know I'm genuinely not the one to do a whole lot outside of school, so she was just like "alr. thought I'd ask." and like it could end there, but I feel bad for not going. But it definitely doesn't bother me as much as if I were have to agreed to go.
