My brother, who's never had a take home test: How do they know you aren't cheating?

Me, who literally shut their home laptop and stacked their chromebook on top right before he came in so he didn't see me 'checking my answers' on quizlet:

My brother:Well, I guess they could access and check your chromebook.

Me:

(Also, when I say checking my answers, I mean I put the answer I think is, then I look up the question, compare my answer with the internet's, and if I'm wrong, which I'm usually not, I see if the internet's answer makes sense in my brain. If it makes sense, then I'll change my answer, but if it doesn't, I won't. Idk why I do it this way, but I do. It's similar to how I use Photomath, except with that, if I'm not getting it, I let it walk me through a problem first. Then I try it on my own and if I'm wrong, does what it's doing make sense? I HATE how Photomath factors tho)
