hm
so we've been working on this movie project for my french class and this one girl in my group said she was gonna do the narrator stuff.
The project is due this upcoming Tuesday and the anxiety about it started setting in on Thursday. I asked her about it on Thursday or Friday and she said she'd get it done over the weekend. I asked her again tonight (Sunday) and she said that we'd do it Monday since we have time.
My anxious ass meanwhile, recorded the narrator lines Thursday night in case she forgot. They're still on my phone in case she's absent or something, even thougg she's literally editing it together.
I could literally get a 75% on this project and be fine, but I get so freaking anxious about group projects sometimes, particularly if I'm working with people who aren't my friends (who I know also care about their grade). Mostly because some of the stuff is out of my control.
The project is worth 165 points and if I were to get a 0 on it, my grade would dropfrom literally missing 5 points from being perfect to a solid 76%, or a C. Luckily, our script for it has already basically secured 112 points, making the lowest grade I could get in the class a 91%, or an A-. I think we'll probably get most of, if not all of the 29 story line points, which will make everything be fine. Then I think I should get most if not all of the self, group, and peer assessment points, because I translated like over half of the script and helped make sure everyone could pronounce their lines, along with being the kidnapper in the one scene. I was also the only person in my group to spend time out of class on the script. Even if I missed all of the story line points, less than perfect on the three assessments will get me where I need to be.
I still can't help but be anxious about it though.
I think I would be worrying less about it if it was in the middle of the year when I have eighty other things to stress about than the end of the year, since we've stopped doing things in all my other classes.
