Fire
Burning, raging,
blazing through my veins like lava
Igniting fury.

Water
Flowing forth
Gentle, yet full of power
Bringing tears.

Lightning
Striking down
Fast, unexpected,
Shock.

Ice
Creeping near,
Frozen blizzards,
Fear.

Darkness
Surging forward
Encasing my heart in stone
Pure emptiness.

"What about the light?" they ask.
