Never Let Go
I perked up at that, and turned to look at Terrence, my heart was racing as the pieces fell into place.
"Terrence." I said slowly as I stood up, the burning pain in my cheek flared.
The red head looked over at me quietly.
"Your the reason my cheek has been burning, aren't you?" I asked with a frown.
He looked away but didn't move other than this, but I didn't need he's vocal confirmation to know the truth.
"Have you just been kissing my cheek while I'm asleep!?" I asked my voice raising some.
"Does it matter?" He asked and I clenched my hands as he walked over.
"Your mate hasn't coming for you for so long, and yet you still don't love me. I've told you before what happens when I'm hungry, I'm a naturally impatient perso-"
The sound rang louder than when I'd slapped Jacob. Hot tears fell down my cheeks as I swallowed, Terrence stared at the wall in utter shock.
"You...I can't believe you. You only helped me because you liked me. You don't even care about me! If you did you'd be helping me, not trying to keep me for yourself!"
The red head's eyes glowed softly, but I wasn't backing down.
"Did you think you could get away with this because I'm an Omega? Because I'm weak and helpless?"
"No. You weren't." He told me leaning closer, I leaned away but didn't step back.
"I had to make you helpless for you even come with me."
My eyes widened.
Make me helpless?
Flashes of fire and smoke ran through my mind until my dad floated through my memory. He'd been unconscious, he'd tripped and fallen, hitting his head...no, he hadn't.
A growl rippled from my throat as the tears fell from my chin.
"How could you." I breathed, having to gasp to breath in.
Terrence's eyes were cold, emotionless, just as they'd always been, I'd been so desperate for a friend, that I'd told myself not to notice.
"You're a monster." I shook my head.
"I get that a lot." He frowned.
I took a step back, he grabbed my wrist.
"Moon."
"Don't touch me." I whispered trying to pull my hand away, but he wouldn't let go.
"No. For once, I'm going to get what I want." He told me his grip tightening.
"No you'll get what you deserve!" I growled and punched him in the face.
He stumbled back in surprise, his grip loosening just enough that I was able to rip my hand away from his and run to the door.
I threw it open, barely thinking to shut it behind me before booting into the forest.
