Chapter 5: Ren Satoru

Chapter 5: Ren Satoru

"Alright." Gohan breaks the silence that filled the area. "Piccolo, tell us everything you know about the thing or person that attacked me."

Piccolo stared at his young friend then nodded understandably.

"To be blunt, I myself don't know who or what ambushed you, Gohan."

"What do you mean you don't know?" Vegeta joins in. "Why are we here then, Namek?!"

"Hey Vegeta... Try calming down, okay? Let me explain everything." Dende tries to keep Vegeta's attitude cooled.

We all waited for Dende to speak again.

"When Gohan was ambushed, I watched the entire thing from up here. Unfortunately, just like Piccolo was saying, I neither know who caused that mess. I could sense whoever this thing or person was, but I couldn't pinpoint their location at all."

"That's absurd!" Vegeta, once again, blurts out out of turn. "How can you not sense where they were? They had a ki signal! If they're another piece of mechanical trash, I promise you that I will-"

"Knock it off, Vegeta! How many times do I have to remind you to keep that loud mouth of yours shut?!" Bulma scolds her husband.

Unfortunately, this got the both of them in a heated argument. After a minute of bickering, Goku separated the two by pushing his arms out in between them.

"This is no time for arguing! Now, lets put you guys' differences aside and lets get some info on this issue!" The saiyan turns his eyes to the both of his friends back and forth.

"Whatever." Bulma replies while giving a glare to Vegeta.

Vegeta crossed his arms.

Sometimes those two act younger than me.

"Anyways..." Dende continues. "Piccolo and I highly believe that this attacker could have the ability to be invisible. We're not exactly sure why this stranger did what they did but our best hope of knowing is to just be patient and wait."

"We're just gonna wait for this monster to destroy another forest or maybe an actual city this time?!" Gohan lowly growls.

I placed my hand on his shoulder.

"I'm sorry." Dende apologizes. "Unless you can somehow lure that thing or person to you, then maybe we can get our answers faster."

Gohan stood up quickly. "That's it! I'll just lure that being out again."

"Are you crazy?! All that thing has to do is sprinkle that powder on you and we'll have to come to your rescue again." I tell my boyfriend.

Gohan slammed his hands together. "Why didn't I think of that earlier?"

Gohan then grabbed my hand and shook it. "Tania, that's a great idea!"

"What...?" I blink.

"You, dad, Goten, and I can just yell out to the sky and the attacker will come out probably."

Yep... He completely lost it.

"Uh..."

"Let's do this together, son." Goku agrees with Gohan.

He's really gonna yell at the sky too?

"Bunch of clowns!" Vegeta turns his back to everyone.

Heh, for once, I think i'm gonna have to agree with Vegeta on this one.

"Oh come on Vegeta, you know you want to speak with this thing more than Gohan or I do." Goku nudges Vegeta on his arm.

"Hmph."

"I'm guessing that's a no." Goku rubs his head. "After all, Gohan did say this mysterious voice knew about our race."

When Goku wasn't paying attention, I saw Vegeta close his eyes amd smirk to himself.

Figures... Vegeta does want to yell at the sky too now. Am I the only one against this?

"If this attacker really does know about the saiyan race, then I would like this stranger to introduce themselves to the prince." Vegeta says.

"I get the feeling it might end up the other way around." Wisheater whispers so only I can hear him.

"Same here." I agree.

~~~~~
"Hello?!" Goku shouts to the sky as he wondered around his house.
"Come on out! We're not gonna hurt you Mister!" Goten yells.
Innocent as always.
"We know you're out there somewhere! Please come out!" Gohan shouts, continuing to freely fly through the sky.
"Its already been three hours since we began searching. Dende said that this thing or person is either disguised or invisible, so what's the point of searching? We can't even pinpoint their location." I say, sitting down on a boulder.
"I think we should keep yelling. I wanna know who this guy is." Wisheater replies.
"You're starting to sound like Goku. Wisheater, it's not like you have eyeballs so why do you want to meet this mystery person so badly?"
"I can still hear." My blade answers. "Getting some info wouldn't hurt to know. Now help your friends out."
I sighed. "Alright, alright."
"This has been going on long enough..." I overhear Vegeta talk to himself. The prince then pulled his arms back and screamed, "COME OUT NOW OR I'LL BLAST YOU OUT OF HIDING!"
His scream quaked the entire land. The birds and animals in the woods went away and I fell over the boulder to the ground after the powerful vibrations in his voice reached me.
"Woooooah Vegeta!" Gohan descends to the ground.
"Move out the way if you don't want to get hit." Vegeta begins to form an energy beam.
"Wait Vegeta! Not by my house!" Goku steps in front of his rival.
"Move out the way, Kakarot! I'll bring the fool out!"
"Listen, Bulma, I think you should take Vegeta back home. We've been searching for hours, I think we should just call it a day." Gohan's father recommends.
"But dad." Gohan complains.
"Gohan." Goku gives his son a look.
Gohan understood and looked down. "Okay, father."
"Gohan, we can try again all day tomorrow after school if you want." I offer.
Gohan grinned widely. "Yeah. Thank you very much."
"Aw, it's nothing." I smile shyly.
"Mommy says it's time for dinner." Goten yanks onto Goku's pants.
"Yum!" His father responds, picking his youngest son up in his arms. "Ready to eat, little guy?"
"Ya!"
Oh boy, oh boy! Food, food, food, food, foooood!
Goku with Goten in his arms and I began heading towards the house while Vegeta and Bulma left. I noticed Gohan wasn't near me and stopped. I turned around to see the half-saiyan staring up at the sky.
"Gohan, you coming?"
"Wha- Oh uh, yeah. I'll be right there." He says, catching up to us.
~~~~~

"But Tania, Gohan said you love flowers and roses." Sharpner whines after I rejected his bouquet of roses.

"I do." I smile as innocently as I can.

That is, the ones that are given to me from Gohan of course.

"So then why won't you take them?"

"Sharpner..." I sigh.

Feeling bad for the long-haired guy, I just took a look at Gohan, who then nodded to my surprise.

I faced Sharpner again and took the bouquet. "Since you've spent your money on this, it'll be rude for me to not accept. Thanks, Sharpner."

Sharpner's eyes turned into hearts. "N-No problem."

My eyes went back to Gohan. He had his left elbow on the table with his chin on his palm while looking out the window to his left. Annoyance was clearly written on his face.

I bit my lip.

Ohhh, this is gonna be a loooong day, I just know it.

"Alright Class, settle down. I want you all to meet someone who's new to Orange Star High School." Mr. Crayer announces.

"A new student?" Erasa and Sharpner say at the same time.

"Who could it be?" Videl asks herself.

From all my years of being a student in my world, i'm gonna say this kid is gonna be probably an outcast from their previous school who just happened to transfer to another new school. Sadly, that's the truth.

"You may come in and introduce yourself, my boy." Mr. Crayer gives the okay to the unknown person.

A boy with beach-blonde hair, blue eyes and fair skin came walking inside the class.

All the girls eyes widened, including mine.

He's gorgeous...

The new student was wearing a white basic t-shirt with black sweatpants and white tennis shoes. The clothing looked well on his somewhat muscular body. A long scar ran down his right arm and a black medal band wrapped around his left wrist.

The new guy placed his left hand in his pocket and brought his right hand up in a wave very friendly.

"Hey everyone! My name is Ren Satoru. It's an honor to meet you all." The blonde smiles innocently.

"Hiiii Ren Satoruuu." All the girls respond with large heart eyes, including myself and Erasa. Videl was the only girl not effected by this guy's hot appearance.

"Is there a place where I can sit?" Ren scans the room.

Erasa immediately sat up and pushed Sharpner off the seat next to mine and pointed down at the now empty seat.

"Ren! Yoohoo! Free seat right here." She calls.

Ren saw the open seat and came to it.

"Hey." He smiles at me.

"Hi." I smile back, moving a piece of hair away from my eyes.

The boy sat down.

"Bouquets, huh? You must be the homecoming queen or something."

"Actually, no. I'm not a homecoming queen or anything."

"What? Something must have gone wrong then because you're a queen in my eyes."

I blushed in embarrassment.

Ren says that i'm a queen in his eyes.

The new student took my hand and kissed it. He then looked back up into my eyes.

I took note of the cuts and scars he had on his fingers.

Why is his hand so bruised like that?

The girls except for Videl gave me the most evil glare and growled in jealousy.

"HEY!" Sharpner yells angry after getting to his feet. "LAY OFF, MAN! SHE'S MY GIRL!"

"My apologies, but who are you?" Ren asks.

Sharpner continued growling before saying, "That's none of your buisness, pal!"

"This girl is none of your buisness." Ren retaliates.

The sound of someone slamming their hands on the table and standing out of their chair vibrated through my ears. All eyes went on Gohan.

"Mr. Crayer sir, may I be excused please?" The spiky-haired boy says with slight attitude in his voice. Gohan's eyes was closed and it looked like he was trying to keep himself calmed down and relaxed.

"Yes Mr. Son, you may be excused." The teacher accepts.

"N-No wait, Gohan!" I say, standing out of my chair as I tried to reach out to my boyfriend as he began to leave the classroom.

Gohan ignored my desperate calls and walked out the room.

Gohan...

"MS. AYAME! Get back in your seat now or you'll get an F for the day!" Mr. Crayer demands.

"But I think I hurt Gohan's feelings somehow..." I softly whisper to myself before returning to my seat.

REN'S P.O.V

"What? Something must have gone wrong because you're a queen in my eyes." I tell the girl with shoulder-length black hair.

The girl blushed and just stared at me. I didn't like the vibe I was feeling from her, so I took her hand and kissed it.

Her entire past history became visible to my eyes as if I was watching it on a large screen T.V.

Whenever I touch someone for atleast a few seconds, if I want to, I can see through their entire past in a blink of an eye. There is a weakness to this ability though. Since their past speeds incredibly fast through my eyes, I can't really focus on some parts of it. The person's memories gets collected and saved into my device for me to recall the less important details of their life to me at the moment, later.

This girl Tania... She was born in this world but was transported to another world but came back here. Her past is interesting. She's one of the very last saiyans and she's not someone I should pick a fight with without having a good strategy.

"HEY!" A male with long hair yells. "LAY OFF, MAN! SHE'S MY GIRL!"

"My apologies, but who are you?" I ask.

"That's none of your buisness, pal!"

Since looking through Tania's past only showed me that this guy meant nothing more than just a friend to her, I said, "This girl is none of your buisness."

Someone had made a loud distracting noise. I turned around and looked up to see a guy with black-spiky hair and fair skin. He was wearing a white long-sleeved undershirt with a short-sleeved yellow t-shirt over it tucked into a pair of brown khakis with a black belt around his hips.

That face...

"Mr. Crayer sir, may I be excused?"

My eyes widened in shock after hearing his very familiar voice.

It's him again! That stubborn irritating boy is here!

*****

"KamehameHAAA!" The boy shouts, raising his cupped hands to the sky. A blue wave of energy pierced through the smoke, almost hitting me.

I dodged out of the way and raised an eyebrow at the standing exhausted super saiyan.

How? How did he know where to aim at?! He shouldn't be able to see or sense where I am! Ugh!

"Nice trick you got there..." I tell the saiyan. Since my black medal device absorbed this guy's knowledge of his technique, the knowledge pass throughout my body and I was able to use it too, but only even better and stronger. "It's so nice, I'd like to return it to you."

KamehameHA!

The same exact technique that my device and body gave me knowledge of, came spiraling out of my hands. The boy that Tania's memories told me was Gohan, brought his arms up in a defensive position.

The blast hit him straight on, but the saiyan was being very stubborn and just wouldn't die.

I pushed a button on my device and commanded, "Detonate."

On command, the kamehameha exploded and Gohan was sent flying through some trees. His back hit against one last tree, causing his super saiyan powers and looks to leave him. He fell to the dirt with his natural black hair getting stained by the mud and dirt.

Seeing him like this made me laugh in satisfaction.

Once watching him trying to stand, I told him, "As long as this poison powder is sprinkling in the air, you can't hope to move!"

There should be enough poison in his body for him to die. His injuries should make his pain last a little bit longer. He's lucky to have a faster death than my other victims.

"There's no use in me sticking around here. My work is finished."

"No! Come back here!" Gohan shouts as I flew away to my abandoned home.

*****

"But I think I hurt Gohan's feelings somehow..." I overhear Tania say to herself.

Obeying the teacher, the girl sat next to me while her other guy friend, Sharpner, found another chair and sat right next to me at the end of the table.

I saw the saddened look in Tania's eyes.

So, her and Gohan are boyfriend and girlfriend... yet, Gohan's mother applicated them here as cousins. Now they gotta keep it a secret from everyone else. Interesting...

I noticed a pair of eyes on Tania. Blue eyes that belonged to a girl with pigtails.

Videl Satan. According to Tania, this girl is Hercule's daughter. She's the most popular girl at this school and Tania believes this girl is very close to finding out about her and Gohan's secret. She already knows that Tania knows martial arts but thinks Gohan's just a wimpy kid. Tania and Gohan are trying their best to keep her from thinking that they're more than just "cousins". Good luck with that.

"What's the matter, Tania?" Videl asks the sad girl.

"What do you mean?"

"You know, Gohan did look pretty upset when you were flirting with Ren right there. I wonder why?" Videl wisely gathers the clues up.

I shook my head.

She's gonna figure everything out at this point if I don't step in.

"He-"

"That was way too close! I could've gotten an A- in Mr.Bird's class if I didn't turn in that assignment i forgot to turn in yesterday." Gohan appears back in the room, rubbing his head, laughing happily.

Tania's eyes lightened up slightly but not a lot.

"You mean, you caused that scene just to turn in an assignment so you don't get an A-?" Videl points her pencil at her classmate.

"Sure did." Gohan smiles.

Videl and I fell out of our seats.

Guess this guy is serious about his homework. However, I can tell Tania's not buying his excuse for leaving the class. After all, she's one of the few who know Gohan the most.

~~~~~
"Ren!" The girls from my homeroom giggle as they all surrounded me after school.
Ugh! I have no time for these desperate women.
"Lets make a deal ladies." I speak. "First girl to run all around the building in twenty minutes and see me tomorrow can maybe win a date with me."
"AHHHH!" They all scream.
"GO!" I yell.
Pushing and shoving one another, the girls finally left me alone.
"They're all gaga over you. I don't see why though. They don't even know you. You can be a jerk for all we know." Hercule's daughter stands next to me with her arms crossed.
Teh, you're one to talk. The guys here were all over you too.
"Why would I be a jerk to all these good people? I've always been the victim when it comes to the ladies." I answer, running my hand through my hair.
"I bet you can have any girl you want." A blonde short-haired girl joins the chat.
Erasa... Best friend of Videl's. Ah, Tania's a bit moody when it comes to this girl flirting with Gohan. I wonder...
Smiling, I took Erasa's hand and kissed it too. Her entire past flash through my vision.
No. She doesn't have a crush on Gohan nor is she a fighter. Hmm, she was with Videl when the Cell Games was taking place, watching it together on the television. Unlike Videl, Erasa has no idea about Tania's and Gohan's relationship status. In fact, she may never know about it unless they tell her themselves. She's a bit too "unobservant".
"Oh Ren, you didn't have to be so blunt with how you feel about me." Erasa blushes, yanking onto my arm.
No! Get off of me you dim-witted girl!
Shutting her locker, Tania slickly ran out of the hallway unnoticed by her friends. I pulled Erasa off of me, threw my backpack over my shoulder and took off after the young girl.
"Wait!" Erasa shouts.
"Sorry! I gotta go! Catch you later, okay?" I wave goodbye.
I faced the front again and once I turned the corner, I pushed a button on my device, causing my entire body to go invisible. Just in case my running wasn't heard, I took to the air and followed Tania to wherever she was going so I wasn't detected so easily.
Gohan, who was still at his locker, putting things in his yellow bag, was all alone in the hall. Tania spotted him and gave him a hug from behind, resting her head against his back.
"Gohan!" She calls.
Gohan dropped the materials he had in his hands. He was suprised from Tania's hug.
He looked over his shoulder. "Tania?"
Gohan turned around and now Tania's head was against his chest with her arms wrapped around his back and shoulders.
"You okay?" She asks quietly.
"Huh?" Gohan tilts his head.
"When you left the classroom in first hour, did you really leave because of that assignment or was it because of-"
"A little of both to be honest." Gohan looks at his girlfriend. "Don't be concerned over me. I'm fine."
"Gohan, i'm sorry. It was wrong for me to allow that new guy to even touch me. I wasn't trying to hurt you. Will you forgive me?" Tania apologies.
Gohan smiled and wrapped his arms around Tania, resting his chin on top of her head.
"Don't apologize. I just need to learn to be less jealous, I guess."
Gohan's face reddened as he kept that smile on his face. "You're still mine. Just remember that for me, alright?"
"Of course." Tania responds with an equally red face.
Yeah... Those two definitely have fallen for one another.
Wanting a even more detailed report on the girl's experiences, I pressed the green button on the side of my device and when I did, a mini screen was displayed out from it.
Hmm, Tania's memories are showing me that Gohan was the actual guy who killed Cell back four years ago. In fact, he killed Cell again just a few months ago when he returned.
A man with a sword in his grip then stood pointing his blade at a beautiful woman with long silver hair and blue eyes. One look at this woman caused my entire body to feel like it was under attack.
The screen disappeared.
"Kill him already!" A voice screams at me telepathically.
"Kill who?" I respond.
A transparent-like body came out of my own body, floating right next to me. I glared at this monster who calls himself my 'master'.
His name is Mamoru Ichiro. Meaning, "Protector and first son". To me, his name should be changed asap because he's nothing like he was anymore.
"Thornkin!" Mamoru answers.
"He's not here!"
"Don't lie to me..." The man says as his red eyes stared down at the couple who was still embracing eachother. "The young man below us... Thornkin's hiding inside of him and Eri... that spoiled brat of a princess is hiding inside that little girl as well."
"What are you talking about? I only see Tania and Gohan. No one else is there." I reply while squinting my eyes.
Mamoru frowned."You fool! I'm not saying that they're there physically, i'm saying that those two are their reincarnations. I do find it strange however that Eri and Thornkin still can't communicate to the both of them yet."
It took every ounce of my strength to not roll my eyes. If Mamoru ever finds me doing that, he'll kill me and my little sister instantly.
"WELL?! What are you waiting for?! Kill him!" Mamoru rushes me.
"No, i'll kill Gohan when I feel like it! I'm not following any on your orders anymore." I refuse completely.
Angry, Mamoru showed me a moving image of my very sick three-year-old sister sound asleep.
"Unless you want me to kill your precious baby sister, you'll do as I say! We both know I can make you stop getting the medicine she needs for her sickness. She'll cease to exist forever! Believe me when I say this too..."
Trying not to become extremely angry, I said, "A-Alright, i'll do it. Just leave Satomi out of this, please."
Satisfied with my response, Mamoru smirked and crossed his arms, waiting for me to do as he said.
I stretched out my palm and aimed it at the two people Mamoru wants so badly for me to destroy.
Since Mamoru threatened Satomi's life, I have no choice but to do this earlier than I wanted.
A ball of red ki formed out of my palm, swirling around, waiting for me to release it in a ki wave.
As if it was fate, dozens of pigeons came flying into the halls from out the window. This sudden invasion caused me to cease my attack and instead dodge all of the passing big birds.
"Why are there so many pigeons all of a sudden?!" Mamoru asks, the tone of his voice giving it away that he was highly annoyed.
Though I am indeed invisible, I do not possess a type of invisibility where I can pass through objects like a ghost or vice versa. Anything can still struck my body if it hits it. If all these birds hit me, I'll be most likely discovered.
Since this entire hallway was filling up with birds, I couldn't focus my eyes on the two saiyans below me. Everytime I would try, a bird would fly up to my face, which I would dodge. By the time these irritating creatures went all away somewhere else, Gohan and Tania had vanished from my sight.
Darn! They got away thanks to those dumb pigeons...
~~~~~

GOHAN'S P.O.V

A swarm of pigeons came flying in from the hallway windows. I released Tania and stared curiously at the birds.

"What's up with all these pigeons flying in from out of nowhere?" Tania responds to the sudden invasion after turning around.

They all seemed to be flying in just one direction. I looked the way they was going but thought nothing of it.

"Gohan! Tania! There you guys are!" Videl appears running after turning a corner.

The girl yanked mine and Tania's arms, dragging us down the hall.

"Hey! Hold on." I say.

"Now is not the time to be stopping Gohan. You guys are the only two I could find still inside the building. These birds are driving the staff members nuts, we got to do something about it."

"Videl, hate to break it to you but Gohan and I was really planning on going home. We're busy." Tania confesses as we continued running up the stairs towards the roof.

"There's no time for you guys to be heading home right now." Videl replies.

Tania looked at me.

"It's alright. We'll just search after doing whatever Videl needs help with." I quietly tell my girlfriend in a small whisper.

"You sure?" Tania asks. I nodded.

"Alright."

Upon arriving on the roof, Videl dropped hold of our arms and faced us with a determined look.

"Listen up! I'm not going to say this again." She began. "The principle has begged me to help him with this school's recent bird problem. As the world champion's daughter, I have accepted this request but I got to admit, even for me, with this many birds, I don't think I can get it done without a little assistance."

"That's the first I heard Videl admit she needed assistance." Tania whispers to me.

I nodded my head. "Yeah. Me too."

"Hey!" Videl points at us.

Tania and I stood straight up like soldiers saluting. "Yes, ma'am!"

Videl began to giggle.

She laughs?

Tania dropped out of her stance. "What's so funny, Videl?"

"You two are just alike. You guys are so weird and awkward." The pigtail-haired girl answers.

I dropped out my stance also and scratched my head.

Is that bad?

After her moment, Videl took out a case and threw a capsule. It exploded and a large brown box came into view. She walked up to it and opened it, grabbing nets and throwing it to Tania and I.

I examined my long net and sighed.

How do I always get myself in these situations?

"Heads up, Gohan."

Videl tossed a large cage. I caught it but had to drop my net in the process.

"Gosh Videl, where did you find this thing? It looks like it could fit in atleast fifty birds in here."

"Oh, I just found that in my dad's dirty underground storage. Nobody ever uses anything down there anymore. My dad absolutely hates when I borrow his newer things. That cage looks like it came from the sewers but it's what I know I can use without my dad throwing a fit."

"This looks like it came from the sewers?" I say in shock.

My mom would love to have this and Videl thinks this is garbage? In fact, this could be like a small home for Chica to be in.

"You gotta be the richest person in the world to say that cage came from the sewers." Tania speaks.

Videl tossed Tania a cage and stood up, holding the handles of her own cage in her right hand.

"I am actually. The only other person who may rival my family is the Briefs. You know, the ones who made these capsules?"

"Oh we know." I smile.

Way more than you think.

"Okay, enough of the chit-chatter. Now we're gonna have to catch the pigeons the old-fashion way. Here's the plan: Gohan, you'll stay around the center of the building and catch as many birds as you can in whatever way you can think of. Tania, you'll take over the left side of the school and i'll take the right. Do I make myself clear?"

"Yes ma'am!" Tania and I say while getting into a soldier's stance again.

"Hahaha, i'm not some general. Just get going." Videl laughs again.

With that, Tania, Videl, and I parted ways from eachother. I held onto the cage with my right hand and picked up my large net with my left.

Okay, this shouldn't be too hard, right? I'm pretty good at catching things in motion. I just hope the birds won't freak out on me. This task would've been a dream for Goten to do if he was here.

Walking over to the edge and looking over the railing, I spotted about ten to fifteen pigeons chilling by the large two tier fountain. I scanned the area to make sure that no one was around then leaped over the railing.

Here goes nothing.

I gracefully landed onto the concrete then used my speed to get to the fountain. Immediately, I pushed my net down on most of the birds but doing so caused them to flap their wings very panicky. The few that managed to escape fleed back to where I was on the roof.

I watched the ones I caught intently, trying to figure out a way to get them in the cage without a single one of them escaping somehow.

Hmm. Oh!

Inching the net closer to me, I opened the cage, placed it on top of the net then took the net off the birds quickly and closed the cage. The birds became furious and flew around the thing trying to find an escape route.

"Hey guys, sorry about this but I heard you're causing chaos everyday after school. You're gonna be having some more company soon so I wouldn't bother wasting my energy flying around." I give the pigeons some advice to which they ignored of course.

Flying to the school's roof, I caught sight of several birds. Some were the ones that escaped from me and the others were ones that I didn't see yet. I set the cage down and smirked.

"Better watch out little guys cause i'm coming straight for ya." I warn them, tightening the grip I had on my net's handle.

With a shout, I flipped into the air and attempted to catch the birds in flight first. They all flew in opposite directions, dodging my net. I gave chase after the birds I knew was the easiest to catch and brought them down to the floor in no time. I brought them into the cage and locked them in with the first few pigeons.

These group of birds actually dodged me. This might take a little more time than I thought.

~~~~~
"No! Get back here!" I yell to the 50th pigeon.
Yeah, i've been counting every single bird I caught since about twenty minutes ago. To be honest, these little guys really were somewhat hard to get. I swat the net at the last bird but it ascended even higher into the sky. I lifted off the ground and tried again and again.
Why is this one harder to catch than the others?!
"Hyaaa!"
The pigeon made a noise then flew to the left, blocking my net again. Groaning, I used my speed to catch the bird but this bird's speed increased dramatically also. I descended to the ground and stared up at the strange creature in awe.
There's no way this bird could've dodged me at that speed. This one is definitely different from the rest. Could someone have had sent all these pigeons here?
I shook my head.
No, stop it Gohan. You're just being paranoid again. Pigeons are like this all the time, just like seagulls. This is normal. Let's just try this again. The pigeon dodging me was just pure luck. There's no way it can dodge me again.
Again, I lifted off the ground quicker than before and brought my net down on the bird gently but fast.
"Yes!" I grin widely.
When I actually took the time to look in the net, I realized that the pigeon wasn't in there at all. I felt my eyes widen.
"N-No way! Where did it-"
A pair of small red feet landed on my left shoulder. I only shifted my eyes, being careful to not move my head at all. The bird bobbed its head. I waited a few seconds then reached out to the bird in a blink of an eye.
As if the thing predicted my movements, it zapped out of the way and began running.
I took my net with me and began a chase again.
"Please just get in this net?! It's not so bad. I'll make sure you'll be relocated in a better area for you all."
"Coo coo." The bird makes a sound as it ran.
I ran all around the roof trying to put this thing in the net. Up and down I hopped, right and left I turn with no luck. I swung my net in every direction possible.
"Coo coo. Coo coo."
"Come on already!" I shout, getting a bit annoyed.
The pigeon kept running speedily, bobbing its head as it did. Right when I was within reach, my foot collided against something and I slid across the ground on my face. The rest of my body flopped on the ground too afterwards.
"Why?" I say, grabbing onto my throbbing face.
I looked behind me and saw that I had tripped over the cage. Thankfully, none of the pigeons got out. I stood back up and saw pigeon number 50 just jumping onto something and staying still with its back turned to me.
Of course I took the advantage and used my instant transmission to appear over there quicker. Once by the bird, I brought the net down on it. This time, it actually was in the net.
"Finally! I got you!"
"Hm?" A voice speaks.
I blinked a few times confused.
The object that the pigeon was resting on was actually on a person's shoulder. This guy with blonde hair turned around, giving me a questionable look with his blue eyes.
"Hey, aren't you that new guy who just came today?" I ask.
"Yes... I am. My name is Ren." The guy in the green shirt introduces himself.
"Well, hi Ren. My name is Gohan, nice to meet you."
"I already know that." Ren sorta grunts.
I rubbed my head. "Oh, you do?"
"I overheard the girl next to me in class call out your name when you left earlier."
"You mean my gir- I mean my cousin?" I correct myself.
"Is that who she is to you?"
Trying to avoid Ren's question I just told him, "Her name is Tania. You've already met her, remember?"
"Yeah, about that... I didn't know you get so overly protective of her. Sorry man." Ren apologies.
I turned around, trying to hide my slight jealousy over what happened in english class.
"It's alright."
"Good. But Gohan, do you mind taking this net off me? It's uncomfortable."
Huh?
"Oops, sorry about that."
I took the net off Ren but doing so made the bird take off.
"No!" I say after it took off.
Suddenly, Ren whistled loudly and the pigeon returned onto his shoulder. I rubbed my eyes to make sure I wasn't seeing things.
"Why the shocked face?" The blonde questions.
"Obviously, Gohan couldn't catch the pigeon like you could."
"It's you again." Ren says as Videl came in with her cage filled.
"The name is Videl. Use it, pal."
Ren only smiled and said, "Yes, I will. Excuse my rudeness."
Videl didn't give a response.
"If you'll excuse me, I need to be on my way home now. This Geometry homework won't finish itself you know." Ren says.
"Alright then. I'll see you tomorrow Ren. It was a pleasure to meet you." I say my goodbye.
The blonde boy turned around, heading for the door to get down the stairs and out the building from the roof.
"Hold on." Videl speaks.
Ren stopped his actions. "Yes?"
"Where do you think you're going with that pigeon on your shoulder?"
Ren glanced at the pigeon then turned back to Videl saying, "I already forgotten about this little guy."
"Oh really?" Videl raises an eyebrow. "If that's so, hand it over. I'll take good care of it."
"Take care of it? No, i'll do it myself." Ren replies as he slightly bent out his index finger near his shoulder. The pigeon walked onto it and stayed there. "I've taken a liking to this bird. I would like to keep it as my own."
"What!"
"I'll be off now. See ya later."
Ren jogged to the door and down the stairs before Videl or I could utter out another word.
"Wait!" Videl calls in vain.
Seconds past and it became silent.
"That jerk."
"Oh well." I sigh.
Atleast now I can head back home too.
Wasting no time, I went over to the cage of pigeons and picked it up. The birds seemed exhausted to even hardly move.
Poor guys...
Out of kindness, I shared a little of my energy to the creatures when Videl wasn't looking and watched them all begin to move around normally.
"There you go. Don't worry, Videl will find you guys a better home than this place." I smile.
With the cage in hand, I brought myself by Videl then set the large cage down.
"Videl, I gathered up the birds in my area and put them in this cage. I believe my work is finished. Please find these guys a better home." I say while walking towards the door. "I'm gonna go find Tania and head home."
"There's no point in doing that right now, Tania is somewhere else away from the school setting the birds free to a new home." Hercule's daughter informs me.
I stopped.
In that case, i'll just teleport myself to where her ki signature is.
"Gohan?"
"Hm?" I turn my head.
"Ren's hands and his fingers... did you see what was on them?"
That's... an odd question.
"What do you mean?" I ask.
Videl smiled then waved her hands in front of her. "N-Nevermind."
"?"
"Actually Gohan, Tania should be back in a few minutes or so, why don't we just wait for her here?"
I rubbed my head. "Uh I don't know Videl..."
"You don't like being near me?" Videl asks after setting her cage down.
"What? No, that's not it at all. I just don't think you should waste time talking to me while you can be getting these birds out of their cages so they can have more space."
Videl crossed her arms and closed her eyes. "Hmm, I guess you're right. These pigeons do look pretty crowded."
"Yeah. I'll see you at school tomorrow then, alright? Bye, Videl." I wave.
"Gohan, wait!"
I turned my eyes to the pigtail-haired girl.
"Thanks for your help." She smiles warmly.
"You're welcome." I smile back.
"Also, tell Tania I said thanks too for me, okay?"
I nodded. "Of course."
"Bye, Gohan."
With a wave, I entered through the opened door and ran down the staircase.
Time to get Tania. I can sense that she's not too far from here.
REN'S P.O.V
I repeatedly opened and closed my hand. Right now, I was sitting on a dirty wooden floor in this small house reviewing everything that happened during my first day at school.
I was gonna kill him! I was going to kill Gohan while he was distracted with that dumb job he was assigned to.
Finally, I left my hand opened and stared at my palm.
But that stupid bird landed on my shoulder and I couldn't think straight for some reason...
I found myself beginning to growl lowly.
UGH! THAT BIRD! OUT OF EVERYTHING IN THAT AREA, IT JUST HAD TO LAND ON ME! I WAS GONNA DO IT!
"DARN IT ALL!" I shout frustrated.
I smashed my fist against the ground. A large crack traveled in front of me down to the other side of the room. I was trying to keep calm the best I could.
Mamoru, darn you! DARN YOU! If it wasn't for you then Satomi would be just fine. But no, you just had to ruin my entire life that horrible day. I'll never forget it.
(A/N: This will be explained in the very next chapter)
Laying on the floor next to me was my very ill three-year-old sister, Satomi, who was peacefully sleeping on a futon mattress.
Satomi...
I stared at her then placed my hand on her forehead and my other hand on my own.
Thank goodness, no fever.
Back about four years ago, when the inhabitants of the world was being killed off by Cell, my father left my mother and me out of cowardice. He was afraid and didn't care at all about us two dying. My mother found out that she was pregnant the day before the Cell Games and was absolutely devastated by it. She wasn't upset because she didn't want another child, but she was upset because this innocent being within her would be brutally slaughtered along with the rest of the world the very next day.
I remember seeing a boy that seemed to be about my age, stepping up to the plate face-to-face with that monster, Cell, on television. I thought this kid really had a death wish or something! Either that or he was mentally ill!
Words can't possibly describe the amount of fear my mother and I felt during that day. When it seemed like all hope was lost, this boy... the one I now know is Gohan, began to scream. Not just any kind of scream though. It was a yell that cried out in unimaginable distress. I won't forget seeing how the area looked while his scream rammed through my ears. The wind that was being blown knocked the screen out to blue.
My mother sobbed uncontrollably after this happened. She was positive about the fate of her unborn child, herself, and me.
But something strange happened... Though the world was quaking and the oceans and seas wild up, everything began to calm down an hour or two later. For a moment, the peace and quiet frightened me. I thought Cell murdered the kid and all his friends but when nothing was happening throughout the next few hours, I began to feel... calmer.
A few days past and after the television began working, the news began spreading that a man named Hercule Satan defeated the monstrous android. When I heard this, I didn't think it was true. However, my mother did and was overcome with tears of joy. I decided to just not care about this at all and just be very grateful that mine, my unborn sibling, my mother, and the rest of the people on earth was still alive.
Thus, nine months later, my baby sister was brought into this world. Unfortunately, in order to bring her here, my mother's life was taken away during childbirth. Her death was the most traumatizing moment in my entire life. I just remember hating Satomi for a while. I always blamed her for the death of our mother.
However, when mother died in the hospital, the nurses, doctors, and hospital staff tried separating my sister away from me. Out of the fear of being alone, I snatched my sister and ran away. I don't know how, but I managed to escape into this forest. I found this run down house that was preoccupied by a very kind elderly couple. Luckily, they allowed me to stay with them and showed me kindness by taking care of Satomi while I still resented her for killing our mother; Or so I believed.
Unfortunately, they died. It was during this time I began to love my sister as I realized she was all I had left. I was left to take care of her but soon she became ill later on. In order to keep Satomi alive, I was forced into breaking into hospitals and stores, stealing medication and other things just to keep myself and Satomi fed and taken care of.
By the time I heard rumors about Cell's return, I knew I couldn't care less. My sister was ill, I was becoming a monster inside slowly as time went on and honestly, I just wanted all this hurting and suffering to stop. I knew I couldn't ever dare lay a finger on myself so I wanted someone else to do it. Who else but Cell?
But again, he was defeated! AGAIN! But by who? People around the earth claimed it was Hercule. Others claimed it was someone else. A person who deserved recognition. Personally, I assumed the same thing. It just had to be someone else. Someone with the type of strength that far exceeded Hercule's by more than light years.
There I kept my fist stuck to the ground. Past emotions stirred through me. I was still damaged. Still hurt. Still broken. Still human and still only a kid.
"R-Renny?" I hear Satomi croak.
I brought my fist off the ground and touched her face.
"Satomi! What are you doing up? You should keep resting."
"But Renny..."
The little toddler began coughing. I took out her medicine, poured it into the tiny cup and lifted her head up gently.
"Please, take your medicine and head back to sleep." I beg.
"Ok." Satomi agrees. "But daddy, I want some yummy food. I get hungry too, you know."
After drinking the medicine, Satomi layed back down smiling, calling me, "Daddy."
"Satomi, I already told you this, i'm your big brother, not your dad." I correct her.
"Then where our dada at then?"
I lowered my eyes.
Not here...
"Renny?"
Bringing my eyes back up at Satomi, I grinned then playfully tousled her usually neat, medium-length black hair. Her blue eyes sparkled as she looked at me. In order to keep her hair from getting wild, messy, and dirty, I had to learn how to do her hair. Each day, I would comb and brush it then put it into whatever style Satomi felt like wearing that day. Since there was no one to pay for the water bill, I was forced to wash up in a nearby clean stream and bring a bucket of water back with me to wash Satomi up since she was too young and weak to do it herself. This is when I would wash her and my hair the way the elderly couple demonstrated.
~~~~~

"Here's some rice, strawberries, and apple juice." I say to my sibling, sitting down with the bowl of rice and strawberries. I placed her drink on the wooden floor.

Satomi grinned and opened her mouth. I chuckled and began to feed her the food. Knowing that my sister was kept fed and clean always set a large smile on my face. Of course, I had to be careful with the chopsticks. Her baby teeth was just all placed in her mouth.

After her meal, I set the bowls and glass into a bin for me to wash later on at the stream. I took out a comb and brush and began to do Satomi's hair. After that, I layed her sheets over her small frame and kissed her forehead.

"There. I'll see you in the morning before I head to school. I'll be back here during lunch and give you the lunch my school provides."

"Are they good?" Satomi asks.

I nodded.

"Okie dokie." She smiles before closing her eyes.

"Goodnight, Satomi."

"Goodnight, Renny."

Ten minutes passed and Satomi was fast asleep. I went outside and jumped onto the roof then layed down. The moon's light shined down on the area. I pushed the button on my device on my wrist. Again, like earlier, a mini screen appeared in front of me.

Let's see... Out of the two, Mamoru said that he hates Thornkin the most. All just because he stole away the most precious gift away from him. Eternal...

Since I didn't get the chance to gather some past information from Gohan, I thoroughly searched through Tania's memories to find if Gohan had any weaknesses that I could use against him.

At first I couldn't really find anything until I saw the battle he had with Eternal.

The silver-haired saiyan shot a energy wave towards Tania but Gohan saved the girl by taking the blast through the chest instead. Because of this, according to Tania, it seemed as though he died. That is until Thornkin appeared.

I shut off the mini screen and put my arms behind my head.

His weakness... its protecting the one he loves. Gohan would give up his own life just to protect Tania. Just like how I would sacrifice my life to protect Satomi.

A shooting star passed by in the sky but I didn't bother trying to making a wish. I mean, why would I?

"Coo coo." A random cry calls out.

The pigeon fron earlier landed next to my head. I glared at it.

"I thought I got rid of you!"

The bird did nothing but gawk at me.

"Don't look at me like that you-"

"Be quiet, child. You should be grateful that I decided to return here." The bird talks.

I immediately sat up dumbfounded. "Whaaa- you talk?!"

"Yes, I do." It answers.

No way! T-That's impossible!

"Instead of relaxing up here on this dump, why don't you finish your task? You know where Thornkin and Eri live now, so why not kill them?"

I balled my fists up. "How do you know about that?!"

"The device you possess right there on your wrist called me here." The bird answers.

Or maybe you just came for more food.

"Before you, I was with another person. However, he gave you that thing and told me to follow you from now on. Right now, I really don't like you at all." The pigeon admits.

"Cool story. Now leave! I don't need you following me around." I roll my eyes.

"Not an option."

"I said leave man! Or I mean, bird."

"Listen, I was there when my previous ally gave you that. That day when you were given those abnormal powers, you were suppose to die!"

Instantly, I swung my hand to the side and out from it came a fire-like energy disk. The pigeon jumped up and dodged my attack. Since I wasn't very good at controlling my ki, several trees were sliced in half. A loud thud was made as they landed on the ground.

"EXPLAIN HOW YOU KNOW ABOUT MY POWERS!" I demand.

The pigeon looked back at the damage then back at me.

"You can't even control your powers correctly yet. At this rate, you'll probably end up being killed by Thornkin and Eri when you attempt to kill them. Without that device, you're useless."

I could feel a fire being lit up in my eyes.

"Oh." The pigeon gasps. "Your eyes are able to turn red."

"R-R-R-RENNYYY!" I overhear a cry.

SATOMI!

Ignoring the pigeon, I hopped down the roof and ran into the cabin.

"S-Satomi! What's wrong?! Are you hurt?"

My baby sister was crying loudly. I dropped down and picked her up.

"Spider!" She screams.

After hearing her say that, I became very relieved.

She gave me a scare. I thought she was in serious danger.

"I'll fix this problem." I smile, giving Satomi the reassurance that everything would be just fine.

I spotted the little creature crawling on the sheet and prepared to kill it. However, before I could, the pigeon who was with me ate and swallowed it. Disgusted, I just stared at the feathered creature.

"Your welcome." It says.

"Oh my goodness! Renny that bird just talked!" Satomi tugs onto my shirt.

"Yes it does." I reply. "But this bird is about to leave the both of us alone and head back to it's own home."

"I'm already home apparently." The bird says.

"Go away!" I shout, gesturing my hand to the window. "Just shoo! Fly away."

"Aww come on, Renny. Don't be like that." Satomi smiles. "Let him stay."

The pigeon bobbed its head.

During the dead silence, Satomi began coughing.

Satomi.

"You're sick, aren't you little girl?" The pigeon asks.

"That's none of your business!" I interrupt.

"I'll help you out with this child."

"I don't need your help, thanks." I decline.

"Stop being so stubborn. You and I both know you need it. While you can stay and watch over your sister, I can spy on Thornkin and Eri and give you some more information on them."

"Don't lie to me."

The pigeon walked over to my device and pushed something. A very small video camera appeared and the bird skillfully wrapped it around its tiny leg with its beak. Afterwards, it pushed yet another button on my device with its beak. The mini screen appeared but it wasn't being used to watch another person's memory. Instead, it was displaying me holding my sister currently.

"Woah." I comment as I stared at myself in the screen.

"This will allow you to see whatever i'm seeing just as long as I am wearing this small camera around my leg." The pigeon explains.

"Renny, whats it talking about?" Satomi asks.

I stared daggers at the pigeon.

He knows about my device... and I didn't even know there was a button that's like the one the thing just opened.

"How can I trust you?"

The pigeon only blinked. "Renny, right?"

"Ren for you!"

"Yeah whatever. Anyways, when was the last time Mamoru spoke to you?"

My eyes shot open. "H-He hasn't spoken to me since-"

"My friends and I interrupted you, huh?"

"Yeah... Back when those other pigeons came ramming into the halls in school. But, what could that have anything to do with Mamoru not talking to me?"

Again the pigeon bobbed its head. "While we flew past you two, we put a seal on him. He won't bother you for no more than several months. This seal won't last that long but it should give you enough time to train and enhance your powers so that you can fight Thornkin and Eri without having to resort to that device."

"Hold up! Hold up! Hold up! Hold up!" I grin widely. "YOU"RE teliing ME that MAMORU won't bother me for several months?!"

"You shouldn't get your hopes-"

"WOOHOO!" I cheer, standing up with Satomi in my arms. I threw her high into the air and caught her. "Satomi! Ain't that great news?!"

My little sister tilted her head. "What is? I don't know who Mamoru is? Is he a friend of yours I haven't met?"

"Stop that childish behavior!" The pigeon demanded.

I stuck my tongue out. "You're a party pooper, you know that."

"What you say?!" The bird flaps its wings angrily.

"You heard me!"

"COO COO!" The bird screams.

Instantly, my temper subsided and I found myself laughing uncontrollably.

"What now?" The pigeon asks.

"Just wh-wha hahaha-" I continue laughing. "What was that?"

"Oh... I do that when I get very angry."

I bit on my lip, trying my best to not snicker.

"Renny..." Satomi calls. "I'm tired."

I looked down at the little girl and put her back under the covers. Her body was a little cold from me keeping her outside of it for some time.

"Go to sleep, Satomi. I'll see you in the morning."

"Okay."

A few minutes passed and all was silent. I turned to the pigeon.

"Hey."

"Yes?"

"Okay." I say.

The bird kept quiet.

"Go... Go do what you claimed you was gonna help me with. Get as much information as you can on Tania and Gohan during the night and when i'm away from them taking care of Satomi."

"Tania and Gohan?"

I nodded. "Yeah. Mamoru told me that they are Thornkin's and Eri's reincarnations. They're names are Tania and Gohan."

"Got it. By the way Ren, my name is Hato." The pigeon informs me.

"Makes sense, Your name means "Pigeon" in japanese."

"Indeed." Hato nods.

He then spread his wings and floated. "I'll be off now... Oh and don't worry, neither of those kids will find me out."

"They better not."

TANIA'S P.O.V

"Hey, Gohan?" I call, peeking inside his room to see him still studying.

"Yeah?" He replies, not even bothering to turn to look at me.

"I can't go to sleep."

Gohan let his pencil down and stood up. I still held onto the door, not allowing myself in his room without permission.

"You're fine. You can come inside, Tania." He says after seeing me.

"Thanks." I smile.

Only his lamp was on and it was 2:30 AM. I tried to go to bed around 10:00 PM but couldn't.

"What's the problem?"

I crossed my arms. "Heeeyy."

Gohan blinked. "What?"

"Just cause I said I can't sleep means I got a problem?"

"No, sorry for assuming that."

Smiling, I lightly punched his arm and giggled. "i was just joking, Gohan."

"So... you're not mad at me?"

"Why would I be mad at someone like you?"

"I don't know."

Still giggling, I grabbed onto Gohan's hand.

"The truth is, I can't go to sleep without hearing your voice right before doing so."

A soft smile appeared on my boyfriend's face. He wrapped his arms around me then gave me a little peck on the lips..

"Same here." He says, his warm breath tickling my ear.

The butterflies in my stomach began to flutter.

Gohan.

"I know it's really late, but do you wanna go out for a bit?" ChiChi's son asks.

I released my boyfriend and gestured my hand towards his desk stacked with books.

"What about your books?"

"That can wait." Gohan rubs his head with a playful smile.

I laughed, closed the door and locked it then opened the window. "We better get going before your mom wakes up."

Gohan nodded then took my hand, ascending to the sky.

Gohan and I dropped near the stream by the small house. I dipped my toe in the water and immediately brought it out.

"Cold!" I exclaim, shaking my foot in an attempt to make it warmer.

Gohan laughed. "That's what you get for dipping your toe in the stream during this time at night."

"Oh really?" I raise an eyebrow.

Gohan nodded.

I bent down and collected water into my hands then threw it at Gohan.

"Aaah!" He shrieks. "T-That's cold."

I began chuckling and while I did so, I felt a freezing liquid splash onto me. I began shivering immediately and turn to see Gohan with a smirk on his face.

"Hey! Not fair, Gohan."

"Whoops, I didn't know we were playing fair but I do remember how you splashed water on me when I wasn't prepared." He says.

Again he splashed the water at me. I quivered and rubbed my arms. "Eeep!"

Gohan was now the one chuckling.

I brought myself into the water. "You thought that was amusing? Well then, take this!"

I began showering the half-saiyan with the cold water. In defense, Gohan began doing the same.

After a few minutes of just playing around, we both got out of the stream shivering as if we had hypothermia.

"Ah, my clothes are all wet now." Gohan says, twisting his shirt. Water poured out of it.

"I'm freezing cooooold" I pout, jumping up and down. My entire body was soaked from the top of my head to my feet.

My arms was crossed and the water was dripping from the tips of my hair to the grass. It was really dark but the moon's light was helping us to see around the area.

"If mom sees us like this, we'll definitely be in huge trouble." Gohan reminds me.

I blushed.

Gohan looked at me a little confused. "What is it?"

"You just said mom."

"Yeah?"

I felt a huge grin spreading on my face. "Instead of saying "my mom", you only said "mom" as if we were more than what we are now."

Gohan's face brightened up like a tomato. "I-Is that h-h-how I really said it?"

I looked down and nodded.

So cute.

While Gohan was just standing next to me blushing still, I saw a bird swoop down past us. For some reason, a vague memory of a damaged hand came to my mind. I reflected on my day trying to remember where i've seen the cuts.

"What? Something must have gone wrong because you're a queen in my eyes."

Ren! It was Ren!

"Hey Gohan?"

The demi-saiyan faced me.

"This might be or sound weird but back in class, Re-"

SWOOSH!

Something flashed right past my cheek. I widened my eyes in shock.

Wh-what was that?

I felt something sliding down my cheek. I brought my hand up to it and looked at my palm.

"Blood?!" Gohan says in shock before grabbing onto my face. "Tania, your cheek! It's been cut."

"I d-didn't even see what that was..."

From a distance, Gohan and I heard a tree falling down. We looked behind us and sure enough, it was.

Suddenly, a strong gush of wind blew. Gohan and I was pushed back. We landed a few yards away from the house. However, Gohan sprung back up and got into a stance. I brought myself up to my feet and did the same.

"Alright!" Gohan shouts. "If it's you from a few days ago, stop being a coward and show yourself!"

Nothing.

Gohan clenched his fists. I cautiously watched for any movements. Gohan and I was in the woods and trees were all around us.

"Come out!" Gohan shouts again.

A vibration from the grass caused me to scan the area again. A large energy disc was coming straight for gohan and I. It slit the grass way better than any lawn mower ever could.

"Gohan! Get out the way!" I scream.

Gohan saw the disc and at once, him and I jumped into the air. When it came back at us, Gohan stretched his palm out and yelled. The disc obliterated and pieces of energy sprinkled to the ground. All became quiet. Goku's oldest son turned around.

"Lets not play anymore games! I know you're after me. Why don't you come out here and tell me why."

Again, silence.

The strange evil sensation left.

Gohan growled. "Whoever that was just left... Again... And without leaving a clue too."

A feather from the sky was descending slowly and gracefully. I held out my palm and let it fall down onto it.

"You might be wrong about that." I say, staring at the feather suspiciously.

Gohan's eyes opened a little more than normal after seeing what I thought was a clue.

"It's a feather." He says.

*****

A/N- Hey my amazing readers. Well, there you have it. Chapter 5. Yep, this chapter is the longest chapter I have ever written but I put in much of my heart and effort taking the time to writing it. I really hope you liked it. Like I said, I am going to be explaining more about Ren and yes, this story will still be about what my summary says its going to be. If you have any questions, just ask. Please comment and rate. Thanks :)
