Chapter 1: The Falsely Believed Cousins

Chapter 1:The Falsely Believed Cousins

Gotta hurry! Gotta hurry! GOTTA HURRY!

"Tania! School starts in forty minutes! Hurry up already or you'll be late!" I hear ChiChi call with a very stern voice.

I sighed heavily. She acts as though she forgot that Gohan and Goku have the ability to use their instant transmission to get me to school... Gee...

"Aren't you taking me with you?" Wisheater asks annoyed as I continued getting myself ready.

"I'm sorry Wisheater, but I can't. If I bring you, they'll think i'm trying to cause harm to the school. I'm not trying to get suspended, expelled, or put into jail on my first day of high school."

"I got to protect you though! Hide me somewhere then!"

"I can't! I'll get busted!" I grabbed my school supplies. "Besides, if I do get into trouble, Gohan will be there to protect me. There's nothing you should be worried about. I'll be just fine."

"Tania!" I hear Gohan's mother yell even louder from downstairs.

"I'm coming ma'am!" I reply from upstairs. I finished stuffing my school supplies into my purple/grey backpack. I put my arms through the straps and allowed the backpack to rest on my shoulders and back.

I quickly ran downstairs and stopped when I saw ChiChi in front of me.

"Don't you look sophisticated in your school outfit." ChiChi complimented me with a satisfied smile. "It's nice to see you out of that gi you always wear for once. You know, I should talk to Goku and Gohan about their bad habits of wearing the same clothes every single day. I just know their bad habits are rubbing off on you Tania.

I awkwardly laughed. "Thanks... I guess."

To be honest, I didn't think that the outfit I wore was all that unique. It was only a white shirt with sleeves that reached almost to my elbows along with a dark blue pencil skirt that my shirt was tucked into. The skirt hugged my waist and came all the way down to the middle of my thighs. I had on clean white socks and black boots with white laces tied. The locket I had on around my neck since my first date with Gohan actually looked well with my outfit. I also wore a white bracelet on my left hand. Since my dark brown hair only reached up to my shoulders, I left it straight. My bang was laying on the left side of my face, completing the look.

"You got everything?" ChiChi asks me.

I nodded. "Everything except for my school badge."

ChiChi gasped and quickly grabbed out two Orange Star High School badges. There was a green and white background with a orange star that had the letter H in bold on the center of it. She then handed them to me.

"Make sure you give Gohan his, alright?"

"Yes."

I opened the door and ChiChi and I went outside where the guys were at. I saw someone with a white long-sleeved shirt that was tucked into a pair of red khaki pants with a black vest over it. His shoes was black. The man's hair was black and short that pointed up in a spiky formation. A small bang dangled over his forehead. The guy had a nerdy yet innocent look to him.

"Good morning, Tania!" Goku and Goten waves at me with a smile.

The boy with the short spiky hair just looked at me shyly. I walked up to the three guys.

"Good morning, Goku. Good morning, Goten." I greeted back. I then turned to the stranger who was next to Goku and Goten. "Um hi... My name is Tania. I'm guessing Goku and Goten made a new friend?"

Goku and Goten looked at one another and then at the teenaged-looking boy, who then rubbed his head with a confused expression. "Tania, don't you recognize me?"

I shrugged my shoulders. "N-No... This is the first time i've ever seen you."

The boy sweat-dropped.

I then realized Gohan was missing and got worried. "Goku? Where's Gohan?! Don't tell me he's still getting ready?! He's gonna be late!"

"I-I'm right here." The unfamiliar boy tells me, proceeding to take out a heart-shaped locket from out of his shirt.

My eyes widened. "G-Gohan?!"

Whoa! I didn't even recognize him with his hair like that!

I began touching his shortened spiky hair. "Your hair! Who cut it and styled it like this?! It looks really good."

"Mom wanted my hair to look less... wild." Gohan answers as he placed his locket back into his shirt.

I giggled. "That's unfortunate. Well, at least your hair is more manageable. It also gives you more of an innocent look. Very handsome."

A small blush covered Gohan's cheeks. "Thank you."

I took one of the school badges and pinned it into Gohan's vest. I then placed mine on my upper left arm.

"As of right now... We are officially high school sophomores." I grin.

"Yea." Gohan smiles back.

"You guys should be heading off now." Goku speaks. "Gohan? You gonna use instant transmission?"

"There's no way my son is going to use that!" ChiChi flipped out.

Goku scratched his head. "Why not ChiChi?"

"Goku, use your brain. If someone was to see Tania and Gohan appear out of nowhere, they'll try to get some answers out of them. We can't have them finding out about their powers." ChiChi explains.

The black-haired woman looked at Gohan and I.

"Whatever happens, please try your best at not showing off your strength. Okay?"

Gohan and I nodded. "We'll try."

ChiChi smiled. "Aren't you guys going to call your cloud friend?"

"Oh ya! NIMBUS!" Gohan shouts to the sky. In just a few seconds, a familiar cloud appeared in front of us.

Gohan picked me up and seated me on the yellow fluffy cloud. He then hopped onto it in front of me then sat down.

"Alright Nimbus, lets fly." He ordered.

"Gohan! Tania! I'll miss you guys when you're gone." Goten waves as Nimbus began flying.

"I'll miss you too, little bro." Gohan replies with a sheepish grin.

"Good luck!" Goku said his goodbyes.

"Have a great day you two! Stay focused and don't get into any trouble!" ChiChi hollers.

"Bye!" I wave.

After everyone was out of sight, I layed my head against Gohan's back and sighed.

"Something wrong?" He asks immediately.

"No..." I reply honestly. "But do you know what our classes are?"

"I almost forgot!" Gohan began searching his pockets. He took out two folded pieces of paper and handed one to me.

I unfolded mine and began reading.

Room 1-B:

1st hour: English
2nd hour: History
3rd hour: Geometry
4th hour: Physical Education
LUNCH
5th hour: Biology
6th hour: Health

"Aw man..." My eyes lowered. "What a bummer. My classes are lame."

"Let me take a look at your schedule." Gohan gently grabbed the paper out of my grip.

As he read, his lips spread ear to ear. His eyes were lighting up.

"I got lucky! I got the same homeroom as you. We have all the same classes together."

I brought my head off of Gohan's back and clapped my hands together. "No way! Seriously?! That's great!"

I hugged the demi-saiyan tight from behind. "I was worried that I might've not had the same classes as you Gohan."

Gohan stiffened in shock. "I w-was worried too Tania."

I could feel my face getting burned up.

What luck! Me and Gohan in the same class! YES! Now I can spend even more time with him.

~~~~~
About thirty minutes later, Nimbus had made it to the school roof. Gohan and I hopped off it, giving our thanks to the cloud and saying goodbye.
"That felt like forever." Gohan says as he began stretching.
I looked down at the streets and saw the other teens walking out of their buses or cars. A soft breeze passed by me. Taking a deep breath, I strolled over to my boyfriend.
"Since we still have a little time, lets take pictures." I suggested, taking out a camera from my backpack.
Gohan scratched his head. "Are we allowed to do that?"
"Of course. School hasn't begun yet."
Gohan shrugged. "Alright then."
Pointing the camera at us two, Gohan and I smiled before I flicked the button.
For the next five minutes, him and I continued to take more photos. Some were silly and goofy. Others were affectionate and casual. A couple was of me and him individually.
Once we heard the bell ring, Gohan and I went down the flight of stairs in the building and went our seperate ways to our lockers.
I was surprised to know that my locker was pretty much near my class. Unlike the lockers I had in my world, these lockers didn't require a combination lock. All you do is just open it.
"Are you new this year? I never saw you here freshmen year." I hear a female voice speak to me.
I slightly moved my locker out of the way to see Videl right next to me.
"It's you!" I gasped. My breathing was shallow.
O-Oh no... I hope she doesn't-
"Did we meet before or something?" The girl with the pigtails asked, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Oh, come on Videl." A girl with short blonde hair walked up to us. She had on a lined green tube top along with blue jeans.
"It's pretty obvious that she's surprised to see the daughter of Hercule. The man who saved us from Cell twice." She finishes.
When the blonde took a closer look at me, she pointed at me and gasped, "Omg! Aren't you the same girl who had that crazy talking sword with you when we were at Dream Land?!"
I quickly acted like I didn't know what she was talking about.
"I think you got the wrong person."
Now I remember her. Her name's Erasa if I can remember correctly... Oh man, if she's here... then that means-
"You three ladies better get to class or else."
A tall young man appeared out of the classroom I was assigned to. His eyes was, at first, fixed on Erasa and Videl. However, when he saw me, his eyes grew wide and he fell to his butt, pointing at me as he began slightly trembling.
"What's going on with you Sharpner?" Videl raised an eyebrow.
"I-It's her! Monkey-tail girl!" He managed to stutter out through his gasps.
I knew this kid was gonna be here... Sharpner is never gonna forget about how Wisheater was able to talk and how Gohan and I appeared behind him and Erasa from out of nowhere while they waited for the next roller coaster ride. I hate to do this, but I gotta play everything off.
"Monkey tail?" Videl examined me then looked at Sharpner as if he was stupid. "What in the world are you talking about?"
"Sharpner, this girl isn't the one we saw at Dream Land. I know she looks like her, but she has no tail." Erasa backed me up.
Sharpner hopped back to his feet. "Erasa, don't you remember anything?! I can't forget that girl's face. I'm positive it's her!"
"Just be quiet Sharpner!" Videl growled annoyed.
She turned to me and asked, "What's your name? I honestly feel like we've met before."
"It's Ta-"
The bell ringed. I hurried and quickly grabbed the things I needed out of my backpack.
"First day of school and already i'm late!" Videl began running to the same class as me. I followed right behind her with Erasa.
Thankfully, the teacher hadn't come. I let out a big exhale.
I'm so glad the teacher isn't here yet.
There were so many students in my class. Probably more than forty or fifty. Thirty-something at the least!
I scanned the room with my eyes, trying to find a seat that wasn't already taken.
Oh... Where's Gohan?
"Tania!" I hear Gohan from somewhere inside the room. I stared ahead to see my best friend waving to catch my attention. Gohan, from my view, was in the third row all the way to the right, near the stairs. There were four rows in total.
He motioned me to come over.
As I made my way over to him, I could see about four more open seats. Finally after making my way to the black-haired boy, Gohan pointed at a chair three seats away from him that had a note card with my name written on it.
"Your seat is only three down away from mines." Gohan informed me.
Of course, wanting to have a spot near my boyfriend, I was very delighted and satisfied. That is, until I saw the names who were next to me.
Videl? To my left? Sharpner? To my right? I got a bad feeling about this... Me and my bad luck... Tragic.
As Videl, Erasa, and Sharpner went up to their assigned seats, Gohan scooched in his chair so that our classmates could get through.
"I got lucky." Erasa comments as she sat down next to Gohan. She grinned at him. "I get to sit by a cutie. Hey, my name is Erasa. I never seen you around before. Are you new here too?"
Gohan, being the friendly guy that he is, nodded and smiled warmly. "Yeah, i'm new to this school. My name is Gohan."
While those two carried on their conversation, Sharpner and Videl began talking to me.
"Tania, right?" Videl asks for confirmation after reading the note card on the desk table in front of us.
"Aha. Tania is my name." I forced an innocent smile on my face.
"Hold on..." Videl began to think to herself.
"Tania is such a weird name." Sharpner says before leaning back in his chair with one arm over the back rest.
"Tania isn't a weird name!" I tell the long-haired boy. "It's just different and unique."
"Whatever you say babe."
"Now I remember!" Videl exclaims, slamming her hand down on the table. "You're the girl who interfered in my fight a while ago."
I sighed. Well, it wasn't like she was never gonna remember. Great...
"No way!" Sharpner speaks really fast.
"What's the big commotion about?" Erasa wanted to know.
"Good morning, class."
Finally, an elder gentleman with a nice suit on stepped into the room. Everyone quieted down and listened to what the man with grey hair had to say.
"As you all may know, I am your homeroom teacher for this year. My name is Mr. Crayer and before you guys ask how old am I, I will tell you that yes, I am older than your parents." My teacher, Mr. Crayer, introduced himself before coughing to clear his throat.
He pushed his glasses up more with his index finger so that it was positioned correctly for him to see.
"Now, as I say the following students names, I would like them to stand up out of their chairs." He continued, grabbing a sheet of paper off the wooden podium that stood by the chalk board behind it.
Why would he want us to do that?
"Jeremy Luz, Kimmy Lin, Videl Satan, Rin Kudo, Gohan Son, Tamako Hana, and... Ta... um..." The teacher began scratching his head, trying to figure out the next name on the paper he was holding. "Tahn-ya...? Ayame."
I blinked a few times. Mr. Crayer must be talking about me. Too bad that he's pronouncing it like Tanya.
"My name is pronounced Tuh-knee-uh, sir." I correct Mr. Crayer, proceeding to stand up along with the others.
"Ah yes... Tuh-knee-uh. Other students I had previous years who had the same spelling as your name always had their names pronounced as Tahn-ya. Your name is unusual to me. However, I do apologize for saying it incorrectly."
"It's fine, sir. I understand." I reply.
"Alrighty then. Now that that's settled, I want the standing students to come stand next to me."
The seven students, including myself, went down to the professor. We stood facing the class pretty awkwardly.
"Here we have the students who scored 98% or higher on their sophomore entrance exams. The only ones, however, to get 100% on all their subjects was the cousins in this room." The elder declared.
Everyone looked at the professor in confusion.
"Well, we're waiting old man!" Sharpner rudely yells outloud. "Tell us who they are!"
"How about you just keep quiet and learn some manners Sharpner!" Videl snaps at the muscular-looking boy.
Sharpner rolled his eyes. "Whatever..."
"I'm sorry for my friend, Professor. Please go on." Hercule's daughter apologized.
"As I was saying, Gohan Son and Tania Ayame was able to achieve the highest scores for the entrance exams." Mr. Crayer revealed.
"W...Wha..." I couldn't even speak. I wasn't shocked about having an impressing score, but the fact that this teacher assumed Gohan and I was cousins was just... absurd.
Me and Gohan just looked at eachother with the same bewildered expression.
"Woah..." I hear Erasa gasp slightly with my sensitive hearing.
"Those two are cousins?" Videl gave Gohan and I a look.
"Hold on!" I waved my hands in front of Mr. Crayer.
"Yeah? What?" He responds.
"What's all this talk about Gohan and I being cousins?"
"Ms. Ayame, according to your aunt, ChiChi, you and her son, Gohan, live together. I'm aware that your parents died a while ago in a terrible accident."
Gohan blinked a few times before scratching his cheek with his index finger. The young man was obviously trying to figure out what this man was talking about.
"ChiChi told you all of this?" I could feel my mouth dropping slightly.
"Indeed she has." Mr. Crayer smiled. "It is pretty tragic that her sister and brother-in-law had to die the way they did, but atleast your aunt was nice enough to adopt you and raise you like her very own daughter."
My legs wobbled before I fell to the ground from the ridiculous story.
Why in the world would ChiChi register Gohan and I to this school as cousins?! That's...
"Gohan and I aren't cousins! We're dat-"
"Professor, ignore what my cousin just said. While we were on our way to school, she was pretty nervous about this whole day. I think her nervousness is making her act the way she is right now. Forgive her, sir." Gohan interrupted me before I could tell the teacher that him and I was actually dating.
"Gohan..." I gave him a slight glare.
As the teacher began speaking, Gohan helped me back up.
"I'm sorry for forgetting to tell you about this Tania, but mom thought it was best to register as cousins to keep everyone from having suspicions as to why you and I are living together. Also, mom just wants us to have a low-profile too." Gohan explains quietly in my ear.
I sighed. Wow... I don't even know what to think.
"Problem Mr. Son and Ms. Ayame?" Professor Crayer asks.
"We're good, sir." Gohan rubbed his head.
After everything was settled, the teacher sended us back to our spots. We were given some certificate for our outstanding performance in the entrance exams. The classes began to proceed.
~~~~~

First, second, and third period passed by quickly. Every hour the teachers would switch classes and teach whatever subject they majored in. Back in my world, the students would be the ones to change classes but having the teachers being the ones to switch off classrooms was odd to me. I wasn't use to sitting in the same seat for pretty much the whole day.

During these three periods, Erasa, Gohan, Videl, Sharpner, and I would just whisper to eachother throughout the class. Well, mostly Erasa and Sharpner would be the ones talking me, Gohan's, and Videl's ears off.

Currently, everyone who was in my class was walking behind our gym teacher, heading outside.

Erasa and Sharpner were a little ahead of Gohan, Videl, and I.

"So, back a few months ago, you helped my father and I beat those goons who were trying to hold me hostage, huh?" Videl was trying to beat some answers out of me.

Why does she want to know so badly? Geesh.

"Well, I can't say I wasn't her." I confess to the persistent teen girl. "My face was shown on cameras."

Sharpner slowed down to my pace.

"I knew it!" Videl stopped in front of me while everyone behind us continued to walk pass the two of us.

Gohan and Sharpner stopped also. Erasa, who noticed she was way ahead of everyone, turned back.

"Then it is true!" Sharpner looked as if he was about to faint. "You're the girl who said she was being trained by Videl's dad himself, right?"

I tried to avoid eye contact. "About that..."

"Yeah, that's her alright." Videl answers as she began to circle around me. "Although, it does seem like she cut her hair."

The situation was becoming pretty uncomfortable.

"Tania's not a student of my father's." Videl broke the news to Sharpner. "She probably just told everyone that so that she could get in on the fight. However... I did notice her fighting skills. She's pretty strong."

"She may be strong, but there's no way she could possibly beat me." Sharpner closed his eyes and crossed his arms with a cocky smirk.

"Hate to break it to you Sharpner, but Tania is way stronger than you are." Videl smiled.

"What?! You're lying."

"It's true. Which makes me wonder..." The champs daughter pointed her finger at Gohan, surprising him a little.

"Hey you! Since you and Tania are cousins, don't tell me you know martial arts too?!"

Gohan and I froze.

Woah! Okay, it's one thing that this girl remembers my encounter with her and her dad several months ago, BUT we can't have Videl knowing about Gohan's true strength or that he knows martial arts a heck of a lot better than she does. After all, Gohan is the one who truly defeated Cell twice.

"Me? Nah, I prefer to keep my nose in the books." Gohan denied completely.

I couldn't help but laugh a little to myself. Nice story Gohan...

Videl got all up in my boyfriend's face, glaring at him dead in the eyes. "You're not lying to me! Are you Gohan?!"

To be honest, I was beginning to get tired of Videl's nosiness.

"Videl, Gohan isn't no martial artist. The guy isn't even buff." Sharpner attempts to reason with his friend.

The girl in pigtails backed away after examining Gohan some more. "I guess you're right. He does look a little too wimpy to be a true fighter. No offense Gohan."

Gohan chuckled nervously. "That's okay. I'd rather study than practice martial arts anyways."

Sharpner snickered. "See? What'd I tell you Videl. This guy is a true nerd."

"HEY!" We all hear Erasa scream from down the hall. "HURRY UP DOWN HERE OR YOU'll BE LEFT BEHIND!"

"We best get going." I say, beginning to jog to everyone else.

~~~~~
"So that's what our first unit is gonna be on. Baseball. Please make sure you guys are well prepared for it. Class dismissed." My male gym teacher reminded everyone as we packed our stuff, getting ready to head out for lunch.
Apparently, for this high school, we all get about an hour and twenty minutes to eat lunch. Heck! We don't even need to eat the lunches that our school provides. That came to me as a shocker when my homeroom teacher told us that during the hour. Their reasoning for this long lunch is so that students would be able to study or get the homework they currently received done. Another is so that teachers would be able to sort themselves out for their next class.
During this time, we can leave school grounds and go wherever we want to go just as long as we come back to the school in time for class. Of course I wanted to use this time to go home and just relax.
Videl, Erasa, and Sharpner offered Gohan and I to join them, but me and Gohan knew we had some things to discuss so we were forced to decline.
When they left and nobody was in sight, I gave Gohan a kiss on the lips and hugged him afterwards.
"I know this whole 'cousin' thing is going to stink!"
"Why's that?" Gohan asks, proceeding to wrap his arms around me.
"Well, I won't be able to kiss or hold hands with you during school hours. I probably won't be able to be in your arms for longer than five seconds without someone thinking we have some weird thing going on."
"We should just be grateful that this school lets us take a break from classes for more than an hour."
We pulled away from eachother.
"Wanna go home and see everyone?" I playfully poke Gohan on his chest.
He grinned widely at me and grabbed my hand gently. He placed two fingers on his forehead.
"Gohan? Tania? You two are home early." Goku was with Piccolo outside of the house just sitting and talking. Their gi was all torn and burned. My guess was that they were sparring.
"Hey dad! Hey Piccolo!" Gohan greets very fast before he released my hand and went straight to them quickly.
I said my greetings and decided to go inside the house.
"I'll catch up with you guys later." I wave goodbye as I approached the dome-shaped building.
Just as I opened the door, I watched Chica, the German Shepherd puppy that Gohan saved from two hunters a couple or few days ago, race out of the house and basically tackle the demi-saiyan, licking his face as he began to laugh.
I smiled warmly at the two before entering the house.
Huh? It doesn't sound like anyone is in here.
Going upstairs, I went to my room and picked up Wisheater.
"You're back!" The sword was beyond happy.
"Only for about an hour. Right now we're having lunch. But hey, where did ChiChi and Goten go?" I strapped Wisheater around my back.
"The kid went over to his friends house I think and ChiChi is in her bedroom."
Goten is at Trunks's house? The poor kid probably got lonely not having me or his big brother around. Hopefully Goten is having fun with Trunks.
"ChiChi? You in here? I need to talk to you." I knocked on her bedroom door softly.
In a blink of an eye, ChiChi stormed out of her room.
"WHY ARE YOU HERE?! YOU'RE SUPPOSE TO BE IN SCHOOL YOUNG LADY! DON'T TELL ME YOU'RE SKIPPING!" Gohan's mother took out her trusty pan.
Before I could even think of dodging, ChiChi slammed her pan down on my head HARD!
"Ow! Ow! Ow! OW!" I squatted to the wooden floor, holding onto my damaged head. I could feel a huge lump growing. Tears were in my eyes.
That really hurt! OUCH!
Satisfied, ChiChi calmed herself. "Why aren't you in school Tania?"
"We're on lunch break. Our school has an hour and twenty minutes before we have to return to class." I answer, still in a squatting position, rubbing my poor head.
"Oh yeah... I forgot that they told me that when I was registering you and Gohan." ChiChi says as if she was completely innocent.
If you would've let me explain everything first, you wouldn't have had to use your pan and I wouldn't be having a lump on my head right now. I can still feel it throbbing...
GOHAN'S P.O.V
"How is school so far, son?" Father asks me as he played with Chica.
"Quite a challenge really." I reply with a small frown.
"What's bothering you Gohan?" Piccolo already knew something was up.
I only sighed. "Some of my classmates are... Let's just say they like to know private things about others."
"Gohan, they didn't already figure you and Tania's powers out yet, did they?"
"No. They have no clue yet, Piccolo. However, a few of them already know about Tania practicing martial arts." I said.
"That can't be good." Dad set Chica down after hearing what I said. "How did they find out?"
"They saw Tania on T.V. a while ago and wouldn't stop asking her if she was the one who helped Videl and her father stop some crooks."
"Videl Satan..." I say to myself, trying to think where i've heard her last name from.
"Could she be Mr. Satan's daughter?!" Piccolo exclaimed.
My eyes widened. Of course! How could I have forgotten?!
Memories from the Cell Games began playing back in my mind.
Mr. Satan is her father. I can hardly see any resemblance about them two except for the way they act.
"Wow." Father comments. "Hercule's daughter in your class Gohan. That probably won't be good."
"I'm not too sure about that dad. I think that she's a good person but she's just pushy and a little too nosy." I give my honest opinion.
"Hey guys."
"Ah, look who's here." Dad smiles after seeing Tania walking towards us.
The short-haired girl took a seat next to Piccolo. I noticed that she was carrying Wisheater on her back.
"So, what are we talking about?"
"How Videl is actually Hercule's daughter." I respond to Tania's question.
"Oh." Tania just yawned.
"Tania, why didn't you ever tell us you knew Mr. Satan's kid?" Dad wanted to know.
Tania just looked at him and said, "I didn't think it was important or anything. I just happened to run into her at a bad time. I never thought I was gonna end up going to the same school as her several months later."
"I guess that makes sense." Dad understood.
"Mom did surprise us when she told us about being registered to Orange Star High School." Is what I said before stretching.
"When fighting, did Videl or her father see your strength?" Piccolo yet again questioned Tania.
Tania shrugged. "I didn't beat the bad guys up to the point where they got unconscious. Only to the point where they gave up."
I guess that isn't too bad.
"Oh um... One more thing." Tania began playing with her hands in a state of nervousness.
We all kept our attention on her.
"I did sorta... sparred with Videl afterwards."
"WHAT?!" Dad, Piccolo, and I gasp in complete shock.
"Yeah, I did... But, I didn't do anything to really hurt her. However, I did do enough to win the match." The young girl admitted to us.
"Tania, do you realize how much trouble that's going to get us into?" I felt a lump in my throat.
"I'm sorry." She sincerely apologized.
"Relax yourself, Gohan." Dad tells me while he began to once again pet Chica, who was still sticking around us.
"But dad..."
"Goku's right, Gohan. If that was a huge problem, that girl and her father would've probably sended out some sort of search team to get some answers out of Tania back then." My old mentor defended my dad.
I sighed a soft sigh. "Okay, but, from now on, we both got to keep a very low-profile as best we can, alright Tania?"
"Yes."
A noise was coming from my stomach. It was a loud growl that the other three could hear.
"I think it's about time you and I go eat some lunch." Tania stood up and reached out for my hand.
I grabbed onto her's and stood. "Yeah."
~~~~~

"So Gohan, where did you and Tania head off too?" Sharpner, who attended the same class as Tania and I, asked with a bored expression.

Tania and I had made it back to class in time after eating for what seemed like forever. Thankfully, when I performed my instant transmission, no one had seen Tania nor I on the school's roof.

We were all now in the middle of our fifth period getting ourselves introduced to the teacher. After that was all over, we immediately began taking down notes on what we were going to be studying on this unit.

"Earth to Gohaaaaan." I felt a paper being thrown at me.

I sighted Sharpner about to throw another crumpled piece of paper at me.

"What is it, Sharpner? I'm trying to concentrate."

When the blonde realized he caught my attention, he slouched down on his chair. "Aren't you going to answer my question?"

Question? Oh!

"My cousin and I just had lunch at home."

"Cool. Do you guys live around here?" Erasa, the girl sitting next to me, joined in.

I scratched my head. Tania, who was listening, shook her head slowly. I knew she was telling me not to tell Erasa anything.

"Excuse me, Mr. Gohan?" A face appeared right in front of me, causing me to almost fall back over my seat.

"Y-Yes sir?"

I could hear some of my classmates laughing.

"Son, were you paying any attention?" My science teacher, Mr. Bird, interrogated me.

I nodded.

"If that's so, then tell me what process does bacteria generally use for reproduction?"

"I believe that it's binary fission, sir." I answer as I stood up stiff.

Mr. Bird smirked. "Correct. My eyes must've been playing tricks on me."

The professor went back down the stairs.

I took a deep breath.

"Gohan, looks like that brain of yours saved you from any kind of punishment." Sharpner said as I took my seat again.

"Yeah." Erasa giggled. The girl in green playfully poked me. Immediately, I stood up again from feeling uncomfortable.

Mr. Bird glared at me. "Is there any reason why you're standing again while i'm teaching Mr. Gohan?"

I rubbed the back of my head embarrassed. "Huh? Oh uh, n-no sir. Forgive me."

I hurried and sat back down as the class began laughing again.
