=Time Steve's POV=

I watched from the hill as two of the non-Steves messed around, throwing pebbles and sticks at each other. It reminded me of my past with Elemental. We had been like the best of friends, until we began to grow apart.

I knew that if I were to convince any of them that I was good and Elemental was evil, I'd have to confront the leader of the group.

Sabre.

Luckily, he was out gathering resources alone. I got up, flying in the direction I had seen him head in. Hopefully this would be an easy confrontation. I landed in the forest and walked, searching for the non-Steve.

I eventually saw him among the trees, chopping down an oak tree for wood and apples. I put myself in his field of vision, standing there as non-threateningly as I could. I hoped he wouldn't freak out, but knowing my luck, he probably would.

Sabre spotted me, and of course, he freaked out and ran. I let out a frustrated sigh, pausing time and walking in front of him. I let time resume, standing boerdly as Sabre bumped into me. He screeched and stumbled back, tripping over his own feet and running in the opposite direction.

I watched him run for a bit, then paused time again and stood to his side so he wouldn't crash into me. He spotted me and took another turn, panicking. Needless to say, this went on for a good two or three minutes, in his time.

"Please just calm down and let me talk to you." I grumbled as he sprinted off. I caught up to him again and stood next to a flower. "Wait!" I shouted as he tripped over a rock. I paused time, righted his body, then went back to my original position.

I resumed time for the hundredth time- heh, time pun- and watched as he stood there confused for a good two seconds before turning to me. "I-"

"Please, just let me explain myself, would you? Chasing you around is tiring!" I complained. Sabre stood there stupidly. He glanced in the direction of his house, then turned back to me. He seemed conflicted.

=Sabre's POV=

Time Steve, the enemy, wants me to hear him out? What was he gonna do, ask me to join his side? I was confused. Why would he want to talk to me if he was the bad guy? What if Time's just misunderstood? What if my suspicion was right, and Elemental really is the bad guy and he's lying to us!? What if-

"You're right, Sabre." Time said. I blinked. "Did I ramble randomly again?" "Yes." "Oh." I looked down sheepishly.

Time sighed. "I have been watching often from my dimension, and I know, from your previous rambling, that you've had suspicions about Elemental. What would you like me to explain to you first?" He said bluntly. I thought for a moment, wondering what to ask. I was so confused, but at the same time this made so much sense.

"Why does Elemental want to get rid of you?" I asked. That was a good start, right? Time visibly tensed at this. I think I struck a nerve- uh oh-

Time looked down. "Elemental and I used to get along, but our differing views caused us to go separate ways, and Elemental unfortunately took the wrong path. I've stopped him on different occasions from doing drastic things, and he's become tired of it. He, of course, wants this to stop, so he set out on destroying me." He explained.

The gears started turning in my brain. "He can't destroy you on his own, can he?" I asked. Time shook his head. "No, he cannot." He replied.

"I've always felt that there was something off about Elemental... Oh, by the way, can you answer something for me real quick?" I asked. Time nodded. "Are you and Elemental brothers?" There was a pause, then Time began to laugh. "What made you ask that question?" He wondered.

"Well- just- I dunno, elements take up space, three dimensions of space, then time is four, time and space, Time and Elemental..." I rambled. Time nodded. "I understand where you're coming from. Yes, our energy signals indicate that we are related. If we're not related, though, that just makes everything awkward." He confirmed.

I nodded. "You two have the same nose shape." "What-" "I dunno-" We fell into an awkward silence.

"Should I.. Should I go tell my friends?" I asked. Time nodded. "If you're willing to join my side, yes." He said. "Well, I don't want to help the enemy.." I replied. Time gave another nod. "Wanna come with?" I asked. Time blinked. "You sure?" "Yeah! My friends will panic at first, but they'll be fine." I reassured him.

"Oh, alright, then. Lead the way." He said. I tuned and began walking, Time following behind. I hoped my friends wouldn't freak out, especially Moose.

We soon got back to the house, Nathan and Moose spotting us immediately. The two came over.

"Hey Sabre! Who's this?" Moose asked. Time seemed a bit nervous. "Well, don't freak out, but this is Time Steve." I answered. Moose and Nathan's eyes widened, both shrieking in terror and running right into the house. Well, Moose went right into the house, while Nathan ran into the wall, stumbled back, stumbled forward, then regained himself and followed after Moose.

Moose ran out with the bread basket, throwing it at Time. He stiffened as it hit him in the face, which now held a frustrated look as bread fell all over the ground. I glanced at him. "Shouldn't have come?" I asked. "Shouldn't have come."

Heya guys! Happy Wednesday! I'm putting this lil' announcement here to remind you guys that I'm taking a month's hiatus on this book, so I can work on Part 3. Yes, this does mean that this is the end of Part 2. I'm actually planning for each part to have 16 chapters, so that's about four months of updating, then I take a month hiatus to work on the next part.

What do you guys think about having Nathan, Moose, and Shark in this book? Do you like it? Do you not? Please let me know your opinions, so I know what to do for Part 4! Yes I've thought that far, I have a whole planning sheet-

Anyways, this book will return on Wednesday, October 27th, with Part 3, Chapter 1. Every part has a one week time skip between them btw. I'm actually really dedicated to this book now, and I might start making chapter art for it! Might. Either way, have a great day/night you guys!
