=Sabre's POV=

Rainbow Steve and I landed in a small hill next to the house. Unfortunately, I landed on my leg, which sent a rocket of pain through me that made me collapse. Rainbow Steve seemed to understand, though, helping me up.

"Let's go to our room, okay? Get some nice sleep?" He asked. I smiled weakly, nodding. "Let's get you some bread to heal up.." Rainbow helped me to the front door and inside, sitting me down at the counter. I watched as he got some bread from the bread basket and some milk.

I glanced down, furrowing my eyebrows. "What's that?" I asked out loud. I scooped a mushed goo with my finger, tasting it. "Sabre, don't eat stuff off the floor!!" Rainbow Steve warned.

"Potatoes..?" I wondered. "Sabre, whether it's potatoes or not, eat the bread." I laughed at Rainbow Steve's response, picking up the baguette and biting into it. "It tastes like it's been on the floor." I mumbled through a mouthful.

Rainbow Steve snatched the bread out of my hands and took a bite. "...yeah kinda-" He agreed.

Rainbow Steve got me a newer loaf from the fridge, and even though it was cold, it was really good. ...mm.. bread..

I washed it down with the milk glass Rainbow Steve gave me. I went to wash it off, but he stopped me and washed it for me. "Go to bed, okay? I'll be there soon enough. I smiled and gave him a quick hug. "Thanks, Raindrop."

Rainbow Steve chuckled at the nickname. "Go to bed." I nodded, then ambled off to our room. Thanks to Rainbow Steve, my leg was already feeling much better.

I changed into some clean clothes, then flopped down on my bed. I'd take a shower in the morning. I closed my eyes and sighed. No doubt I'd get another slew of nightmares after today...

My thoughts slowed to a stop as I drifted off, only to jolt awake as I was slammed against the wall by Nightmare Steve. My breath hitched as he gripped my chin tightly.

I couldn't move, I was frozen in fear. I glanced around the dark room. There was a pool of blood by Rainbow Steve's bed. Nightmare Steve got him... He got to my Rainbow... I started to cry.

Nightmare Steve reached up and ripped my bandana off of my face, revealing my eyes. I flinched violently as he started to laugh, seeing the faces of everyone who's laughed at my eyes in his as I sunk down against the wall.

Tears spilled from my eyes as I hugged myself, disembodied voices coming from seemingly nowhere as I sobbed.

The next thing I knew, I was lying facedown on a cold table. My head was turned to the side. I flinched as I felt a cold, watery hand trace against the scars on my back.

I tried to move, I tried to see.. I couldn't do either. It was too bright in the room, and some sort of magic must have been holding me down. I gasped when the hand touched the scar above my heart. It stopped there, pressing down hard on it.

I whimpered as the hand split it's fingers right above the scar, then screamed as a jolt of pain went through my body. A blade was plunged into my back. Into my heart. I let out pained cries as my world faded to black.

I opened my eyes, taking in a sharp breath of air. I sat up and pushed the covers off of myself, looking over to Rainbow's bed. He was still there. I looked at the clock. 5:00 a.m. Two hours of sleep, which wasn't bad, I guess.

I got up and grabbed myself a green hoodie and blue jeans, along with a pair of underwear, and headed to the bathroom. I closed and locked the door, placing the clothes next to the sink.

I started the shower and got undressed, taking off my blindfold and placing it on the cleaner clothes.

I stepped into the shower, letting out a sigh as I felt the warm water on my back. I grabbed the shampoo and washed my hair, then tilted my head back and let the bubbles flow out with the water.

I felt a sting on my back. Great. Sometimes, my dreams were so realistic, the scars follows me to the Overworld... I stared at my arms, scars littering them. They weren't self-inflicted, no, they were all from the villains in my dreams.

Luckily I didn't bleed in my sleep, or that would've been a real problem. I looked down at the lightning scar in my chest. That wasn't caused by my dreams, in fact, I didn't know where it even came from..

Something clicked in my head. It was from when I was a Blue Steve. When I jumped in front of Rainbow Steve to save his life. Some water ran down my face and into my eyes. Wait. All the soap wasn't washed out of my hair!!

I whined, desperately trying to rub the soap out of my stinging eyes. I turned, opening my eyes to the shower water and blinking painfully.

I eventually got the soap out, with a lot of pain and tears. I got out of the shower and dried myself off, getting myself dressed in my new clothes. I dried my hair and brushed it out, then went back to my room. Rainbow was still asleep, and from the looks of it, he passed out with his armor on as well.

I let out a small laugh, then went into Rainbow's dresser and pulled out a white sweater and blue leggings for him when he woke up. I wouldn't wake him now, he wouldn't like that. I went to the kitchen and grabbed myself an apple, biting into it as I headed outside.

I climbed up the hill and sat on a tree, waiting for the sun to come up. I smiled to myself, seeing the magnificent colors come into veiw. Maybe I didn't need to wear my blindfold for this..

I took it off and stared as the vibrant colors filled my vision, watching the fiery cube of gas rise over the horizon. I stared until my eyes began to hurt and I had to put my blindfold back on again.

Getting down from the tree, I started to head back. I overlooked the house from another tree, until something caught my eye. I glanced over.

"Wh-what the-!?"
