Part 1; Chapter 5 - Followed?
=Shark's POV=
Among the midst of chaos today, I noticed that as we traveled, something had been following us.
It wasn't the dark shadow from before... It was a white figure. I was fairly certain I knew who it was, but I didn't want to assume things.
I tended to Sabre's wounds, making sure he didn't loose any more blood. Sabre whimpered softly as I touched the wet rag to each wound.
"Don't worry, Sabre, I'm almost finished." I told him.
I wrapped up the last wound, then took out a band-aid, putting it over his nose where he had a small scratch. "You okay?" I asked. Sabre shrugged.
"Meh, I've been though worse." He mumbled.
Suddenly, we heard a distant screaming. I whipped my head around to see Moose, running from Nathan, screeching at the top of his lungs. "GET BACK HERE, YOU NUB!!!" Nathan was yelling.
I made sure to stand in front of Sabre so Moose wouldn't tackle him again, putting my arms out protectively. Moose slapped my hand. "I WIN!" He shouted.
"Were you two racing?" I asked. The two nodded happily.
Then Moose saw Sabre.
"Sabre!" He said, kneeling down in front of him. Sabre was sitting. "Are you okay? I'm so sorry for earlier!"
Sabre smiled and hugged Moose. "I'm glad you're okay! The others told me that you just... ran off..." He said, looking to the side.
Moose patted Sabre's back. "I'm happy you're okay, too." He said.
"Is it just me, or is Moose actually calm and collected right now?" Nathan asked.
Moose broke away from the hug, taking a flaming stick from the campfire. "YOU BETTER RUN!!!" He said, waving it around. Nathan shrieked, running away as Moose chased after him "Stop messing around, guys! You'll both get hurt!" I yelled, only to be ignored. I sighed and turned back to Sabre.
"What are we gonna do for beds?" Sabre asked, tilting his head. "We don't have any wool..."
I hummed. "I have shears, so I could go out and get some wool from nearby sheep," I started, looking towards the forest, spotting one, "but I don't trust these lunatics to keep you in good hands, especially Moose."
Sabre stood. "I'll come with you, then!" He said happily. I sighed.
"Fine, I just hope those two don't do anything stupid..." I muttered. Sabre hopped up and down.
=Sabre's POV=
We headed to the forest as Shark sheared a sheep. I surveyed the new landscape. We had set up camp at the edge of a Savannah Biome, several large hills behind our camp, to the West.
The forest was to the Northeast of our camp, with plains stretching East and Southeast. To the South and Southwest, there was Savannah.
I went into the forest to find a sheep for Shark to shear. As I walked, I began to think to myself. I missed Rainbow already. Why did I let him just.. walk off like that? Why didn't I try to stop him?
I continued on my way. He mentioned a Blue Steve. Who was this Blue Steve anyways? Was it the one from the Rainbow Town? The one who forced me to help create Rainbow?
"Elan! Sabre, there you are!" Shark grabbed me, snapping me out of my thoughts. "Why'd you go off like that!? Are you okay? I kept calling you name, but you wouldn't respond!
"I'm sorry..." I said, "I got lost in thought..."
Shark nodded and began to lead me back to camp. "C'mon, Sabre. Let's go back and get some sleep." He said.
He placed his hand on my back, leading me back to our campsite. I glanced behind me, seeing a small flash of white, then I was turned back in the direction of our camp.
