"Where am I? Who are you?" Ash asked.

"Ash, it's me, Andrew" Andrew answered, "We met a few hours ago"

"Who is that?" Ash questioned looking at Pikachu.

"That's your Pikachu" Andrew answered.

"So, my name is Ash" Ash exclaimed.

"Yes, you seem to have gained amnesia after falling of the mountain side" Andrew stated.

"Mountain side" Ash said.

When Ash said that, he felt a striking pain in his head. Andrew noticed this and started checking his brain using one of his machines. He realised that Ash was getting a memory spike, a condition someone gets when having amnesia. Every time he remembers something small, it causes him to gain an aching pain in his brain. Andrew ran off and came back with some pills.

"What are these for?" Ash asked.

"These pills will make the pain weaker but you'll still feel it" Andrew answered.

Ash took some pills and the pain was starting to lessen. After the whole commotion, he went to the bed that Andrew set up for him. As he was lying down, he was thinking about how he can get his memories back. Andrew told him that it might come back overtime if there was any main thing that will bring his memory back. Ash decided to think more about this later on so he went to bed peacefully.

6 weeks later

Andrew was taking care of the Pokémon while Ash was inside watching some television. It's been 6 weeks and Ash has only regained some of his memories. He was shown all the videos of him in the league to which he remembered him battling and the Bond Phenomenon. As he was surfing through the channels, one that interested him was a tournament being held in Lumiose City. This excited him so he ran out to look for Andrew.

"Andrew, I need to talk to you" Ash called out.

"Yes Ash" Andrew replied feeding Newcastle. (If you don't know who Newcastle is, he's Andrew's Nidoking)

"There's a tournament being held in Lumiose, I really want to join" Ash explained.

"Ok then, I'll just grab my Pokémon and we'll fly there on my ship" Andrew said finishing up his work.

Andrew and Ash begun grabbing all their Pokémon and their belongings that they will need. Andrew opened up the roof opening and took his airship out. The two hopped on and flew off to the Kalos Region. Ash was very excited to battle again since he never had that many opponents to battle with.

In Lumiose City

Ash and Andrew have finally arrived at Lumiose City and went into the Pokémon Centre to register. Andrew didn't want to join so Ash was all by himself in the tournament. After registering, the two were going to go to their room until Ash bumped into someone. As he got up, he looked to see a honey-blonde girl in front of him with a questioning look.

"Excuse me, what are you doing here?" She questioned.

"Um, I am participating in the tournament" Ash answered.

"Really, not going to admit you're not strong?" She exclaimed.

"Seriously, who are you?" Ash asked.

"Don't play dumb, you know who I am" The honey-blonde said angrily.

"What's going on Serena?" A blue-haired girl asked walking towards them, "Ash, is that really you?"

"Seriously, what is going on here?" Ash asked.

"Maybe you have met these people" Andrew suggested.

"Of course he know us, we've known him for a long time" An orange-haired girl said coming towards them.

"Do you know them at all?" Andrew asked.

"Not at all" Ash answered.

"Ok that's it" The orange-haired girl screamed.

She punched Ash so hard, he fell to the floor and his cap was knocked off his head. This revealed the big scar on his head which made two of the girls gasp. The force of the punch caused Ash to get another memory spike so he swiftly grabbed some pills and took them.

"I think I vaguely remember getting betrayed by some of these people" Ash stated getting up.

"I see, these were the so called 'friends' that betrayed you" Andrew exclaimed.

"Now do you feel happy about yourselves Misty and Serena?" The blue-haired girl questioned, "Now he's got amnesia because you betrayed him"

"That's fine by me Dawn, he's not my problem" The orange-haired girl answered while walking off.

As she walked off leaving the four by themselves. The honey-blonde girl started tearing up while the blue-haired girl, Dawn, was trying to keep her calm. Andrew decided to question Dawn about the whole betrayal.

"Dawn is it? Can I speak to you privately?" Andrew requested.

"Sure" Dawn replied. Once they left, Andrew started.

"So, what do you know about Ash's betrayal?" He asked.

"Well, everyone and his mom were telling Ash to give up on his dream, even Serena whom had a crush on Ash" Dawn explained, "However, Clemont, his sister Bonnie, Max and I didn't want to betray him"

"Was that Serena back there crying?" Andrew asked.

"Yeah, she was the one who thought of the idea" Dawn answered, "I'm guessing she's regretting it"

After having the private conversation, the two went back and Andrew explained to Ash the whole situation. Ash started to remember the betrayal vaguely and he did remember the sad looks on the four who didn't betray him. He looked over to Serena who is still sad about the betrayal. When Ash was told that she liked him, he wondered why she betrayed him in the first place anyways. He decided to question her.

"Hey Serena, I need to talk to you" Ash started.

"What is it?" Serena replied sadly.

"Well, I was wondering why you betrayed me if you liked me?" Ash asked.

"I just wanted the better for you and I didn't want you to get hurt" Serena explained, "Now that you have amnesia, I deeply regret thinking of this idea and now you can't remember me" Serena exclaimed, "I'm so stupid"

"Hey, hey, don't feel too bad about yourself" Ash informed.

"Thanks Ash, I wish you remembered me" Serena thanked.

"I'm sure I will, Andrew said that my memories are starting to develop better" Ash exclaimed, "I'm glad you regret"

Serena couldn't help it, she had to do it or else she will never have the chance to do it. She grabbed Ash's shirt and pulled him into a passionate kiss. The kiss lasted for a few minutes and when they broke off, Ash had a shocked look on his face. Serena was unsure about what she did until words came out of Ash's mouth.

"I remember" Ash muttered.
