Rainbows POV

Days later I was out of the hospital, as I thought my dad and grandparents were put in jail, and I was put into the foster system... I was still in town though.

I just wanted to have a home.

No one wants a 15 year old with mental issues. I'm on the "special needs" List cause I am older than the average adoption age and since I was exposed to alcohol and that kind of stuff since before I was born. My dad still drank when I was really little.

I feel like no one is gonna want me.

I was in a foster home with 3 other teens... I was the youngest there... The others were 16, 16, and 17.

There names are Alice, Raven, and Iris. Iris is the oldest

As I settled into the top bunk I sighed. I wasn't allowed to go out with my friends till my dad and grandparents are settled into prison next week.

I layed there on my bed as I cuddled tank. I felt like crying.

No one could adopt me for a week and I really needed someone to help me settle in and the older girls were basically like "great another one"

They didn't care

I wanted to cry so badly but the older girls would think I was a baby.

"Rainbow Dash! There's someone here for you!" Ms.Ray called

I held tank as I went to where she was.

I saw my friends!

I started crying and hugged them. They hugged back as I sobbed.

When I calmed down I felt so much better.

"How you handling it dashie" Shy asked me

I shrugged, and squeezed tank

"Oh Rainbow" Shy said and hugged me again

I hugged back and started sobbing again.

Shy mouthed something to the others.

I calmed down soon and layed on shy's chest.

Ms.Ray then said, "you can go in the bedroom they went out a couple minutes ago"

We went to the bedroom and I climbed onto the top bunk.

The girls sat around the room, pinkie climbed on the other bunk.

I held tank close to my chest, I really just wanted a home...

"Rainbow, you ok?" AJ asked

"I just want a home... " I said

"You will have a home darling" Rarity said

I stayed silent and leaned against the wall, all really I need, is a home...

When the week was over and I was allowed to go out, all I wanted to do was, cry, sleep, and dream...

"Rainbow! C'mere!" Ms.Ray called

I went out with tank, "ya Ms.Ray" I asked

She pointed and I looked...

I saw fluttershy with a younger boy and two adults

"Hi rainbow" The woman said and came over and kneeled in front of me, "I'm cloudy shy, and that's wind shy, we're fluttershy's parents, and Zephyr's our adopted son? Fluttershy tells us you just want a home"

I nodded and squeezed tank.

"We won't make you but if you want to, we can start fostering you and see how you like it with us, and if you do, we'll adopt you," She said

I couldn't believe what I was hearing!

Was it true?

Was it a Dream!?

"Thank you" I said and started crying happily, I really wanted to hug her but restrained myself cause I didn't know if I was allowed to.

I felt a pair of arms wrap around me, I hugged back.

I then heard, "Rule number 1: we're always up for a hug"

Fluttershy was helping me get my stuff together, and I just couldn't believe it!

When I had my backpack together I held tank and we went out.

We said bye and fluttershy held my hand so I wouldn't be scared.

We were in the backity back of the car. I was just so happy that I might have a home!

When we made it they brought me to a extra room, it had gray walls and a twin loft bed with a desk under it. There was also a dresser and a window to look out from the loft bed.

"This is going to be your room," Wind said, "we used to foster before we adopted Zephyr, so this room is your's if you're gonna stay with us"

"Thank you so much" I said

"No problem rainbow" He said and all of them but shy left.

"You want some help unpacking?" Shy asked

I nodded

When we finished it was time for dinner.

I felt comfortable eating cause shy was there.

After shy showed me her room, it was right across from mine. There was pink walls and a whole bunch of stuffys.

She then showed me her parents room and where the bathroom was.

We chilled in her room and told me that if I needed her just to come get her. We sat on the ground reading until Cloudy came to tell us to get ready for bed.

I got changed and all that and climbed into bed with tank. He's been there for me day and night.

Cloudy came in, "hi rainbow, I just wanted to say good night, and that if you need me or wind just come wake us up, ok?" She said rubbing my hand.

I nodded, "thank you" I said

"You're welcome, c'mere" She said

I gave her a hug from over the railing.

We soon pulled apart.

"Goodnight" She said and left the room

I opened the curtain on the window and stared out, "I think I'm gonna like it here... "

I fell asleep
