Do you know what's so tragic about the 2015 crisis,

That is Iraq and Syria's Hell on Earth ISIS?

For every impressionable young mind they have recruited and enticed,

A million times over Islam's peaceful reputation they have sacrificed,

For all their executing, exploiting and radicalizing,

Their warped dream of ethnic cleansing and supreme rule never materializing.

Like all religions, Islam is one of fellowship and charity,

Of kindness, selflessness and equality,

A likeminded, peaceful community,

Of love, trust and unity,

ISIS is just using and abusing one extreme interpretation,

That clearly got twisted, lost in translation,

Funny how they've chosen to preach the most violent version and information.

The world sees it time and time again,

A faction using and manipulating faith for their own gain,

Disregarding tolerance of diversity, others' pain,

Forcing people to convert, not waiting for their cooperation

But this will be their biggest downfall, ISIS's deadly implication,

In the end something will give,

And ISIS and its terrorism won't survive,

Its damaged ideals will never be able thrive,

Its legacy long forgotten, never allowed to prosper and live.
