Hermione' POV

She walked into the Room of Requirement and saw the living area and the dormitories and decided she was going to start thinking of a better cover story, because when Tom had asked her where she transferred from she was totally unprepared.

Woah did she just call him Tom, what?

She had come here and expected him to be an arrogant jerk just like Malfoy but instead she found a generally nice guy he was very kind and considerate. When he had given her his coat she expected it to have some kind of jinx on it but it was just normal.

He was also not the noseless white faced freak she had come to know, but instead he was actually quite handsome. She forced herself out of her thoughts and continued planning her cover story until late at night.

The next morning she woke to the sound of knocking on her door.

"Yes" she called quietly.

"It's breakfast time" replied Tom "I thought you might like to walk with me"

"Of course" Hermione said "I'd love to walk with you."
