When I got home Lawrence showed me how much he missed me and why he didn't like waking up alone. For three hours we stayed locked up in the bedroom. I still could not believe sex could still be that good for the amount of time we were naked. Let me tell you it was a lot.

My first full moon as a mated pair and it was glorious. We hunted together, we played, and we slept. This time it was him who woke up first and carried me off away from the group where he showed me just how warm he could keep my while the snow fell, melting before it hit our bodies as we made love.

It had been almost two months since Jonah sent me that little gift and still we heard nothing more. Jack and Lawrence seemed a little more relaxed. It helped that Lawrence knew I made up with Dmitri and Mason. In his eyes I had two more people around who loved me and would give their lives for mine. I was just happy to have them around. I think Mason's friendship bothered him more then Dmitri. Oh he trusted me but Mason and I quickly got back to our old ways. Spending all our time together for those couple of days before he went away and the same when he got back. Our relationship didn't affect mine and Lawrence's at all, well not really. Those nights after I spent time with Mason were the nights Lawrence reminded me who I belonged to. Not that I ever needed to be reminded. Those nights were not gentle love making. They were full of need and passion.

Having my mate beside me was the most amazing feeling in the world. Having the support of both the pack and pride made us all feel safe. The nagging question was just how long could I stay out of trouble?

That was when the doorbell rang. I stood and stared at Lawrence as we were getting dressed. "Samantha what did you do? There is a strange wolf at the door." Before I could defend myself he was out the door and halfway down the stairs.

"Hello, my name is Thomas," The strange wolf introduced himself as soon as he seen me on the steps. Ignoring the others and my pissed off mate. "Samantha? I was told you were the only one who could help me. I am a born in need of sanctuary."
