I could not believe my ears when I heard Jack's side of the phone conversation, before he explained everything, I , was out the door and in my Jeep, Braydon right on my heels just made it in before I stormed out of the driveway and raced to the bar. Breaking every speed limit, I made it there and through the door in a matter of minutes.

My pack brothers in the back corner with their backs to me, I smelled the other wolf's fear before I saw him. My brothers parted a way as I got closer, the large bald badass sat on the couch, eyes going wide as soon as he seen me. "Where is she?" I bellowed, watching him flinch gave me no satisfaction.

"Are...are...you Jack?" he stammered.

"Where is she?" I growled.

"Dmitri," Jacks boisterous voice came from the door, "Stand down," he ordered.

The wolf's eyes widen at his name, staring at me. That put a malicious smile on my face, the wolf knew who I was and was terrified.

"I am Jack, Alpha pack of Kajen. What do you know about our Sam?" Jack asked, keeping his voice calm, controlled, and commanding.

Before the new wolf could answer, Mason walked in with the Lions, Nickoli looking ready to kill, followed by their Leader, Matt and a few others. The wolf sat there staring, mouth falling open. Watching his actions I wondered how much this wolf knew because he sure as hell didn't know about the lions. The fear coming of this one wolf overpowered the stench of anger.

"Dmitri and everybody else back up," Jack ordered.

"That goes for you to Nickoli. Everyone back," Lawrence added.

Looking back and forth at Jack and Lawrence as if watching a tennis match the new wolf said, "I overheard, but I didn't think it was true," the wolf sounded in ah.

"What is your name son?" Jack asked.

Pulling his gaze off Lawrence and the other lions, he answered, "Joseph."

"Do you know where our Sam is?" Lawrence asked with the same calm, controlled and commanding voice.

Anxiety came off him at the mention of Sam, "Yes, we need to hurry. My Alpha tried to trick her to take him as a mate and I warned her the best I could and she refused, choosing death, but he is going to force the mating," he rushed out, jumping to his feet.

Myself and the others roared and Jack and Lawrence had to raise their voice, "Sit," they said to the new wolf when he jumped to his feet.

I was ready to kill, I needed to find her now, but the smallest sane part of me knew I had to listen to the rest. When everyone fell silent, Jack and Lawrence continued. Joseph went on to tell them that Sam asked him for a favour to tell them she loved them after she passed and that was when he realized his Alpha only told him not to let Sam leave the room and if she escaped to bring her right back, but never said anything about not telling them where she was.

He smelled of truth, but they were still nervousness about him, it might be a trap. I remembered that Sam told Lawrence in the one and only time he was able to speak to her through their connection that a Joseph wanted to help, but he was too much of a submissive to do anything.

Jack decided to move our talks to his house. There we went over the floor plan of the house, where Sam was being held, how many humans and wolves there were. Within an hour we were almost ready to head out. Joseph locked up in one of the holding cells Jack had, and has not used in years. We still had families to protect in case all this was a setup, we were packing the vans and waiting for the doctors to show. From what Joseph said she was in really bad shape.
