Deadheads
After walking around the Deadheads and talking to Newt, he asked me, "I completely forgot to ask, do you remember your name?"
And I realized I couldn't remember my name. Did I even had a name? If yes, then who'd named me? What was my name? The panic attacked me. I didn't knew anything! I squeezed my eyes, trying to remember anything –only a name. But my mind was all blank. No memory. No past. No name. No one. Nothing at all.
"It's fine." Newt brushed my shoulder. "Neither of us knew it either but perhaps you'll remember it soon enough." He smiled.
I nodded. But who was I, actually?
We decided to walk back to the Homestead which –according to Newt- was the safest place for me.
"Well tonight we're supposed to go to a bonfire." Newt said as we reached the Homestead.
"Bonfire?"
"They've one every time a Greenie comes up to honor them."
"What's a Greenie?" I frowned.
He chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck.
"What's so funny?" I knew I was acting like idiots but I seriously had no idea what a Greenie was.
"The new arrival to the Glade." He paused. "You remind me of Tommy's first day." He smiled and turned to leave.
Greenie. I thought. That's me?
After walking about ten feet, he twisted back and shouted, "Chuck will get you for the bonfire."
"Chuck?" I mumbled. "Who the hell is that?"
