Chapter 33
Aizawa-Sensei kept his gaze on Kei. "You two. Grab Nozomi and head back to the camp." He ordered.
No, he can't be here.
Tetsutetsu and Itsuka stood with some struggle before rushing over to me.
Tetsutetsu, still completely covered in steel, grabbed the wires on my legs first, ripping them apart, with some struggle.
"I don't think so!" Kei rushed over to us, but Aizawa-Sensei intervened.
I tried to focus on them, but the two moved around quickly. "It's going to be okay Kiri. We're going to get you out of here." Itsuka said, enlarging her hand.
It seemed like she was reassuring herself more then me.
Tetsutetsu stepped onto her hand and she brought him up a bit so he can reach the wires on my wrists.
My vision is blurring and black crept in the corners of my vision. I could vaguely hear the fighting between Kei and Aizawa in the background.
"I'm going to need to cut her hair, do you have anything sharp?" Tetsutetsu asked her. Itsuka shook her head, looking over at our teacher and the Villain.
"Rip it out. Here." I made the follicles turn to weapons. They can't move because of the block, but it showed where he needed to rip.
Tetsutetsu looked down at me, clearly concerned. "But-" I shook my head as much as I could. "It's okay. They'll regrow. Even if you do it, it won't hurt."
I do it all the time. And I don't think I could feel it any way. Not in the state I am in.
He hesitated, but grabbed the base, just below the block and ripped it. My now short hair fell, brushing my neck. He quickly ripped the wires and I fell.
He caught me easily in his arms and Itsuka lowered us back to the ground.
"Let's go." Itsuka said. Tetsutetsu nodded and held me tight as we began to run.
My head lolled back, watching the two figures as we left. After a bit, they slowly disappeared.
Kei hates Aizawa-Sensei. And he's been ordered to kill him on sight. I can't let him kill him.
She would cry.
I need to go back. I have to. She would want me to protect him.
The two continued to run, despite my meager struggling. My eyes began to flutter close as exhaustion began to take over. I have to save him, for her.

"Kendo! Can you help us carry Tokage and Yanagi?!" Someone's voice called, waking me. I must have blacked out a bit there.
I couldn't see who but Kendo agreed. "Tetsutetsu, take Kiri back to camp, I'll meet you there." She told him. He nodded and Intsuka ran off.
Tetsutetsu began heading towards the camp. "No. I can't. Aizawa-Sensei is in danger." I struggled in his hold, but he just tightened his grip. Damn he's strong.
"Don't worry. He's a Pro Hero. He can handle him." I shook my head, struggling even harder.
"No. He can't. Kei will kill him. Please. I know him. He-he's . . . he's my brother."
Tetsutetsu stopped and stared down at my, eyes wide with disbelief.
I have never out right said that he was to anyone other than the authorities because they already knew. It feels strange.
"I have to go back. Please. Kei wants him dead more than anything and Aizawa-Sensei is still injured from the attack at USJ."
Tetsutetsu pursed his lips, thinking. However, before he could reject the idea, something slammed into us.
No. Someone.
Aizawa landed on top of us, bleeding. "He is. His erasing time is shorter. He needs to blink more often." Kei said, walking over towards us.
Aizawa-Sensei rolled off and grabbed his bleeding side.
Tetsutetsu went to grab me, but he slammed into the ground, going deep into it because of the pressure.
Aizawa-Sensei went to cut it off, but Kei kicked some dirt up and into his eyes. Aizawa-Sensei let out a grunt and brought his hand to them.
Kei used that to run in front and create a poison sword and slashed.
Aizawa knew and moved back, only letting it nick him. However it still hit him, meaning the poison is going to be in him.
Kei brought his leg up and kicked him in the face and used the gravity to force him down, hard.
I tried to get up, but my body wouldn't allow it.
Kei held his hands out. The poison started as a liquid and moved, forming two swords. He twirled the swords and stabbed straight down into Aizawa-Sensei's forearms, pinning him face down to the ground.
Tetsutetsu stood and lunged at him, swinging his arm.
Kei pivoted his foot, grabbed his arm, and spun it around, sitting on Tetsutetsu's back as he was bent in pain.
With one hand below the wrist, and the other slightly below his elbow, he pressed, and the steel coating his skin cracked and shattered, as did the bones in that arm.
Tetsutetsu let out a scream at Kei's action, his steel disappearing from his skin.
Kei used that opportunity to pull a dagger from his waistband and drive it straight into his back. Tetsutetsu gasped, blood caught in his throat.
Kei stepped back and used the gravity to slam him back into the ground harder then before, causing him to be knocked out.
Blood pooled around his head at the impact.
Tetsutetsu.
Once he finished with him, he walked over to the struggling Aizawa.
Huh? Kei is bruised, and his back is bleeding. Did Aizawa-Sensei do that to him?
But if he's injured, that can be used to our advantage.
Kei intensified the gravity, slamming him further into it. Aizawa-Sensei grunted as he continued to be slammed into the ground.
Anytime he managed to look up and stop the Quirk, Kei just slammed his foot in his head and making him hit the ground face first.
Just what the hell did he do to him? I don't know. But whatever he did, must have been dirty and underhanded if Aizawa is already like this.
"I'll bring your head back as a trophy. Aizawa Shota." Kei said, forming a long, guillotine blade above his head. "Die."
Die?
Aizawa-Sensei . . . is going to die?
~Flashback~
The memory is hazy. It was back when I was small, before meeting Izu and Kacchan.
All I can see is her fuzzy outline as I sat on her lap, looking up at her. Yet not being able to fully see her face, only the bottom half.
"You went to U.A.?" I asked, my eyes wide in wonder.
She smiled kindly down at me. "Yes I did. I was actually class president all three years." She informed me.
My eyes shined with awe as I stared up at her. "Eh? Really? You must have had a lot of friends!" I commented. Her smile seemed to soften as she thought about it.
"Yes. But my two best friends were my Kohai's." She admitted, nostalgia in her voice.
I smiled widely, curious to know more. "What were they like? Who were they? Were they as great as you?!" She chuckled at my enthusiasm, running her hand over my long hair.
"Well, they were different. Hizashi is, well he's eccentric, but he has a positive attitude and is always in high spirits. He's very good at making and keeping friends, and he is very outgoing. I don't think he knows what being socially shy is. He really is something." She spoke fondly.
"And the other one?" I asked.
Her smile remained, but it seemed a little sad. "Ah, well he's not as outgoing as Hizashi. And he doesn't have his positivity. He can be pretty cold, and he's incredibly blunt. He speaks and acts without really considering most people's feelings." She admitted.
I frowned. "Eh? He doesn't sound like a good man." I stated. She chuckled a bit at that.
"He is a rough around the edges, but . . . he is incredibly kind and caring. He won't show it, but inside he's just a softie. He's a great judge in character, and when he befriends someone, he is incredibly loyal. He always has faith in his friend. He's always there for them. As harsh and cruel as some of his words may be, they come from a good place. That's the Shota I know."
I blinked, tilting my head to the side. "If they're that important to you, why don't you ever see them?" I asked.
Her smile fell before she forced another one on. She pulled me closer so my head rested on her chest and stroked my hair.
"Because I care about them. I stay away in order to protect them."
Hm? "Don't worry! I'll protect them and you!" A young boys voice called.
We turned to the doorway to see a young boy walk in, a honest and pure grin on his face.
~Flashback End~
No! I won't let that happen. I won't!
I stood up with much restraint. Kei began to turn my way, seeing movement from the corner of his eye.
Before he did, I lunged forward, grabbed some of my hair, formed it into a blade, and tore it as I slashed forward.
The blade cut him deep across his chest. His eyes widened slightly in surprise. Before he could do anything else, I grabbed the gem that he's been using for gravity and pulled it off his belt.
I spun and kicked his chest roughly away and held my hand out in his direction.
My other hand tightened on the gem as I felt the power and energy from it.
I focused, I willed it, and the gravity around Kei forced him to slam down into the ground. I moved it up, and he floated in the air and I did the same.
I grabbed the sword and rushed over. Before he could get up, I stabbed through one arm, pinning him to the ground.
His poison shot out, going right through my leg. I winced, feeling pain again, but kicked his face with all my strength and his head fell.
He's not going to be out long. No. He'll be up any second.
The stone in my hand shattered, power overused and no longer available.
Tossing the shards, I turned, rushing over to the two.
My body screamed, warning me it can't handle this. But I didn't listen.
I have to protect Aizawa. I have to. And I'm not leaving Tetsutetsu behind with this monster.
No way in hell will Kei take either of them.
So I moved the guys onto my back, in a double piggy back ride of sorts.
C'mon Kiriya. Pain is a state of mind. You're going to move. You're going to bring these two back to safety no matter what.
I don't care if you even die. Bring. Them. Back.
I began to jog in the direction of camp.
After a while of jogging, I lost feeling in my legs. Then my arms, and the rest of my body.
But I kept running. The image of the woman and young boy flashing through my mind.
After a bit, the darkness began to return to the corners of my eyes and my vision blurred. But I kept going.
I can do this. I can do this. I have to. I can't let Aizawa-Sensei die.
And Tetsutetsu . . . he has dreams. Big dreams. He really wants to be a Hero. He wants to save people. He wants to help those who can't fight! Just like her.
I soon finally broke through the treelines, seeing the building not too far away.
My run slowly turned into a walk. I'm out of the forest, just a little more. Just a little more.
My head bopped, my neck losing some support, but I kept walking. My bangs fell over my eyes but I didn't try to fix it. I can see through them.
I'm close. I see the building. And I see a group of people.
Students, the teacher of Class B, and the Pussycats.
Seeing them made my feet drag across the ground, some feeling coming back.
But it wasn't pain. It just all feels so heavy.
I tightened my grip on their legs, their arms draped over my shoulders.
I won't stop. Not until they're safe. Until they are safe, I'm not going to pass out.
"Kiri-Nee?!" I vaguely heard a boys voice shout. Their voice seems so far away. I can't quite hear it. I could hear more voices, but I couldn't quite hear.
It doesn't matter. Must bring these two to safety.
Footsteps sounded in my ear and I forced my eyes to see what it was. A blurry image ran my way.
That's . . . Class B's teacher.
He ran to my side and easily picked the two off my back. The moment he did I collapsed to the ground.
They're safe. They're safe.
My eyes shut, and I heard someone scream my name.
But I only heard the little boys voice.
"I'll protect all of you!"
