•Present Time•

Gazing at the building that sat near the edge of town, Y\N looked between herself, the lab and the bared empty road in the middle.

Sounds easy, right?

Oh, how you're, oh so wrong.

Y/N darted across the street only to trip over a pit in the street, skidding her knee harshly against the pavement.

Blood oozes out of her knee, cause her to hiss in pain. To stop the bleeding, she picking up her cloak, ripping off a piece. She wrapped it around her knee.

Seeing some of the multicolored bubbles coming your way, you darted towards the lab, until you freeze from maniacal laughter.

"Y/NNNNNNN~ You can't hiiiide! Why not come out already, huh? Make it easier on ya!"
Bill shouted, laughing as the screams of the towns folk got fainter and fainter.

Realizing you only had a short amount of time before he can find you, you race up the rest of the way to the lab, opening the door and slamming it shut.

Gazing at some potted plants lined up near the entrance, you hurriedly pushed the pots against the door.

'It's not much, but it'll hold them of until I get outta here..'

You whip your head around to face several doors, your eyes landing on a metal door, with a name plastered on it.
EXPERIMENT 36

Walking up to the metal door, you put your hand on the door, feeling the metal texture. You sigh and look up.

"Let's just hope those scientists weren't just bloody insane about this."

Pressing a button, the door opens revealing a very large room, with a gigantic machine in the room.

Papers are scattered everywhere, a booth with glass windows were shattered and the work place inside was like a tornado hit it. Chairs were either broken or toppled over, tables cracked and tossed near the machine, a control panel in the booth was smashed and crushed.

Walking up to the control panel, a single green button stood out, good as new.
Taking a deep breath, you push it.

The machine hums quietly, becoming louder each second, soon green, blue and purple portal appearing in it.

Crashes rang from outside the door, causing the (h/c) haired woman snapped her frightened gaze to the door.

Insane laughter could be heard.
"ARE YOU THAT DENSE?! YOU CAN'T ESCAPE ME!! I'LL FIND YOU!"

She hate to admit it but he was right. If she left the portal open, he could just follow her in. Y/N looked at her surroundings, needing something to help her escape before coming across a rusty pipe, causing her to smile softly.

Grabbing it, she plunges it deep in the panel, causing electric sparkles to fly.

The portal starts to flicker, making the girl start running towards it, just as the door broke down, the demon's maniacal laughter filling the room.

Wasting no time, Y/N jumps into the portal, just as it closes.

Y/N could hear his laughter fade suddenly, and a rush of air in her face, opening her eyes, she realized she was gazing over a waterfall and a small town in the distance.
Seeing the peaceful town,(fills you with DETERMINATION.)causes her to smile, sighing softly.

Suddenly, she realizes nothing below her.
A sudden weight is put on Y/N as she lets out a ear shattering scream as she falls into the forest.

Hitting branches, trees and occasionally a wood pecker, the girl tumbles to the ground below, groaning.

She weakly looks down in pain to see her leg wound had reopened, causing her to curse lightly. You lay your head on the ground, tears flooding out.

You were a coward.

You didn't save anyone.

Not the town folk.

Not William.

Or you.

Your vision starts to fade, possibly due to the blood loss, just as you see two silhouettes running towards you.
