Chapter 3
A delicate butterfly drifts from flower to flower as a young couple spread out a blanket. Though both of them were dressed in warn buckskins and had ragged looking nags hobbled by a near stream they both looked extremely happy. The woman sat on the blanket with a patched bag in hand. The man seemed to check on the two horses as the woman pulled the small particles from her bag.
A happy smile was on the man as he sat besides the woman and picked up the largest bundle. A quiet coo came from the bundle and both of the adults faun over their most prized position, a little girl bound in their finest blanket.
To them the little clearing with the chattering stream and fluttering butterflies was a paradise that they would share with their daughter as often as they could.
The new parents faun over their little fairy while unknowingly being watched. As quiet as the whispering flowers a foretoken is told, "One day something will be more precious then that thing, one day this bright grass will bring you nothing and one day you will not be able to outrun me. When that comes you will meet my seedling, my precious dark spot. Enjoy your reached life while you can peasants."
