The Death of Two Shinobi's - Reina's Alive!
Reina's P.O.V
"R-Reina!"
Who was that...? Where am I..?
"Pl-Please come back Reina!"
Come back...
"Sakura, she's...she's dead."
Sa-Sakura... Sakura! Images of a girl with pink hair passed by.
"No! She can't be dead, Sasuke. I thought you cared for her? I guess I was wrong, teme."
Sasuke... Sasuke Uchiha. A boy with hair in the shape of a ducks behind flickered in my mind. A boy with yellow hair and a grin waved at me. N-Naruto...? A tall man with gray gravity defying hair held his hand out for me, his mask crinkling. ...Ka...Kakashi. It disappeared. All of them reappeared, but together this time. The tall man was waving, the girl was smiling up at me, the dark haired boy was smirking with his hands in his pockets, and lastly the boy in orange walked up to me with a kind smile on his face.
He held out his hand, "Come back to us, Reina. We need you." He said.
The girl joined him, "Yeah, hurry up!" She said.
The dark haired one grabbed my hand. "Are you going to make us wait?" He asked.
The man pet my head. "Listen to them, come back, don't make us wait." He said.
"Were your family." They all said together, their eyes welcoming.
Family, there my family... I need to go back, now!

There was a heavy weight on my chest, this caused me to cough. A lock of pink hair came into my blurry vision. Sakura.
"S-Sakura, you're h-hurting me.." I whispered, pain lacing my voice.
I heard a few gasps, "Reina!" Something I heard very often.
My eyes fluttered open, what came into my vision was my team, Tazuna. Sakura had tears pouring out of her eyes like a waterfall. Sasuke's eyes were wide and they were filled with shock and relief. Tazuna smiled at me. But Naruto... Where was Naruto? As I tried to sit up, pained washed over me like a giant wave. A soft groan escaped my lips.
"Yeah, I'm a-alive." I muttered, giving her a forced smile.
Her arms suddenly wrapped around me, causing my eyes to widen in shock. As I said before, I was never fond of getting hugged or just plain touched. Not even Dad has received any type of affection from me in the past years, only when I was younger; naive. She let out a gasp and then backed away almost immediately.
"I'm sorry...you're still injured" She apologized.
My gaze softened. I wrapped my arms around her slowly, giving her a side hug of some sorts. "No, it's, uh, it's fine... Thank you for caring about me even after I treated you like trash." I mumbled an apology of my own.
I felt horrible for making my team worry, especially Sakura. Just seeing her cry made me feel so guilty, seeing as she was really the only person on the team that I despised in a way. I might as well show her some kindness for once. I did make her cry. Yeah I might hate her, but it's something I don't want to ever do to my team, my friends, my family. I could never make them cry, even if I wasn't too fond of them.
Sakura rubbed the back of her head, "It's not a problem. Even if you treat me like trash, you'll always be considered my friend no matter what." She replied with a smile.
Smiling at her, I stood up slowly with my knees trembling due to the fact that Haku's needles had pierced me in all sorts of places. The needles effects were still haunting over me, it seems. Sakura helped me up. I thanked her and walked to Sasuke who still was in shock.
"Hey, Sasuke...you alright?" I asked softly.
He shook his head with a smirk, the shock from before vanishing in mere seconds.
"Hn... I should be the one asking you that." He stated.
"I'm fine, I'm fine. Don't worry. He didn't hit any vital spot luckily, only managed to knock me out." I waved it off.
He didn't seem fazed by my response. He simply continued to stare at me.
I glanced at him with an eyebrow raised, "But really, are you okay? You were in a state of shock a minute ago, you looked scared as well." I pointed out with worry in my voice.
He frowned, "I'm fine." He muttered and walked away.
I sighed. He's still the same. I guess there's no way of changing him for who he is. I pulled out each senbon that had pierced my skin one by one, wincing as I did. That boy Haku, he...he never planned on killing us from the start. If it was to kill us, I would've been dead on the ground. Instead, I was alive with no major injuries.
"Sakura, what happened to that boy with the mask?" I asked.
"He's dead..." She stated with a frown.
"Dead? How!" I asked angrily with a quiet gasp.
"I'm not really sure...he protected Zabuza though." She replied, glancing to the right.
I followed her gaze. Haku was laid on the ground, blood covering her-- wait his pale face?! He's that girl from the other day! I finally realized it, Haku was a boy. He was the girl that spotted me hiding in the tree, and now...now he was dead. There had to be a reason he was with Zabuza though. Why would some random kid join someone who's mentally unstable; a man who could kill thousands of people without showing a hint of emotion bedsides the sadistic smile he wears? I can only come up with two reasons. One, Haku was an orphan like me. Two, he was forced to join Zabuza's side. Before I could take the time to think between the two, a shout pulled me out of my thoughts.
"Shadow clone jutsu!"
I ran over to the bridge where I heard it from. There were a ton of shadows clones from Dad and Naruto. The townspeople were here too with weapons of their own. Cheering erupted from the crowd and the clones vanished. Dad then walked over to a body and he kneeled down. I followed with a small gasp. Zabuza was face first in the ground, multiple swords piercing his back.
"Sounds like it's over..." Zabuza muttered, his eyes growing dull and showing the signs of death.
"Yeah..." Dad muttered in response.
"Kakashi, I need to ask you a favor." Zabuza breathed out raspily.
"What is it?" Dad asked.
"I...I want to see his face..." He stated, glancing over at Haku.
Dad listened and went to fulfill his wish without a hint of hesitation. He grabbed Zabuza and carried him over to Haku. As he did it started to snow. I blinked in confusion and I held my hand in the air, catching some of the snow in my palm.
"Snow?" I mumbled, looking up at the sky. "At this time of year, huh..."
'Haku, could this possibly be you? After all, you did have a power somewhat related to snow...' I thought. I watched sadly as Dad placed Zabuza next to Haku. Even if he was an enemy, I couldn't help but feel bad for him. It wasn't his choice, sometimes your feelings just take over your body and you end up doing something you may regret.
Kneeling down next to Haku and Zabuza, I hung my head and prayed for them to live happily in the afterlife. 'May the both of you rest in serene peace together once more.' I thought, 'For today we have lost two great shinobi's who were enemies, yet great people on the inside, hidden from the world.' A lone tear escaped trailed down my face. Arms wrapped around my frail, sore body.
Naruto wiped the tear that glided down my cheek away, "Don't cry, Reina-chan." Naruto told me, while his own eyes were watery.
I wiped my eyes furiously with the back of my hands. "Idiot, you're crying too." I pointed out rudely.
Naruto grinned sheepishly, "You're right, haha." He laughed, then looked at me with a serious yet saddened expression. "You know, he was from a village where it snowed a lot." Naruto said.
"Oh, really?" I whispered, cupping my hands as the snow fell in.
"He was a boy as pure as snow." Dad stated.
Naruto nodded in agreement and rubbed my shoulder, he leaned close to my ear and whispered.
"I'm glad you're back, Reina."

I stared at Haku and Zabuza's grave, where the two shinobi now rested. Zabuza's sword stuck out of the ground. 'I hope you both have a good time in the afterlife, even after what you've done.'
"You know, Kaka-sensei." Sakura said.
"Hmm?" Dad hummed in response.
"I wonder if the way a ninja should be is really as these two were saying." Sakura mused, and stood up.
Sakura walked over to the rest of the team, sighing I stood up and walked beside her. But not before glancing once more over my shoulder. 'Goodbye, Zabuza, Haku.'
"Shinobi should not seek the reason for their existence. What's important is to exist merely as tools. That's the same in the Leaf Village." Dad stated, causing me to frown.
Naruto turned to Dad, "I wonder if that's what it really means to become a real ninja." Naruto said with a frown plastered on his face, "I don't like that!"
"Do you think so, too?" Sasuke asked my dad.
Dad hummed, "Well, that's why all ninja live trying to figure it out without realizing. Like Zabuza and that kid..." Dad answered.
"Okay!" Naruto shouted suddenly.
We all turned to him. 'I wonder what he's going to say now.' I mused.
He looked up at the sky. "I've just decided! I'm going to pursue my own ninja way! I'm gonna sprint straight ahead and pursue a way that I won't ever forget!" He shouted, with a grin.
A smile made it's way to my face. 'Oh Naruto, you'll always have your own way around things that don't appeal to you, won't you? I guess that something that's special about you, you try your best to achieve what you want no matter what.'

"Thanks to you the bridge was safely completed, but we will miss you very much." Tazuna said.
"Take care," Tsunami smiled.
I smiled back, and waved at her and Tazuna.
"Thank you for everything." Tazuna thanked us once again.
"Oi, don't worry about it so much old man. We helped you, you helped us. Sounds even to me, so no need for all the thanking." I said.
Tazuna chuckled as he shook his head.
"We'll come back for a visit, Tazuna!" Naruto shouted.
"For sure?" Inari said with a small gulp.
Inari shook, his eyes watered. Is he going to cry?
"Inari, you're gonna miss us, aren't you?" Naruto stated shaking as well. "It's alright to cry. Go ahead and cry!"
"I won't cry!" He shouted. "It's alright if you cry, Naruto!"
"Oh, is that so?" Naruto said, his eyes getting even waterier than before, and a small little bigger handing out his nose. Naruto trained around abruptly. "See you!" He shouted, tears coming out his eyes like a waterfall.
I glanced at Inari seeing he was in the same situation Naruto was in. Sighing I walked with my team, heading back to the village after this stressful mission. Naruto started to rant about ramen and how he would brag about this mission to Konohamaru.. 'Hm, I can't wait to get back to the village and rest. I've never been away from home for so long...'
